04/05/2026: Great place for a quick, tasty sandwich at a great price! I got a nice, large cheeseburger, cheese-stuffed peppers, and a water for only €13. It's hard to find these prices these days, so I highly recommend it!
02/04/2026: A simple, retro pub with tasty, special food. A welcoming atmosphere, a wide selection of beers, and sandwiches for all tastes. Superb fried food, highly recommended. Absolutely competitive prices.
The only downside is that the kitchen isn't separate, so you have to leave your clothes out to air out the next day.

The staff was impeccable, friendly, and eager to recommend the best dishes of the day. The quality of the ingredients shines through in every bite. It's the perfect place for both a romantic dinner and a get-together with friends.
29/04/2026: Excellent food, the scallops and sea bream were both exceptional. Staff very welcoming and knowledgeable about all the food and wine that we had. This place is off the beaten track but well worth the effort.

08/05/2026: Finally found a gem again! A very charming restaurant with exceptionally friendly service. The food was fresh and flavorful, absolutely top-notch! I highly recommend the goulash! Tender and delicious!! And plenty of fresh toasted bread! I'll definitely be back!
03/05/2026: A well-designed and welcoming restaurant. Outside, there are three or four tables facing the entrance on Via della Madonnina, but inside, thanks to the well-arranged seating, it feels larger than it actually is. Service is efficient, and the kitchen is very quick in preparing dishes. The quality of both the meat and vegetables is excellent, and for a Serbian restaurant, the portions are larger than at other places. Need a little tip? Try the ajvar with any cut of meat; you won't regret it.

The restaurant is small but very well-maintained and clean. I'd also like to add the attention to table service: the staff is courteous, fast, and friendly.

09/05/2026: Those dumplings were truly amazing. No matter what we ordered, they were packed with flavours. We just couldn't stop ordering. We had a lot of dumplings in our lives but not as tasty as those ones. You could tell there were homemade with love. Highly recommend.

10/05/2026: The man who served us was kind and explained everything very well to us even though we didn't speak Italian. The atmosphere was cheerful and homely. There isn't much seating so be prepared to stand, don't let that put you off this place as it adds a special charm and atmosphere. The price is very fair and the food is delicious, something for everyone. There are also numerous wine and drink options.

08/05/2026: The owner is extremely professional and friendly. A quiet little corner in the city center where you can relax, accompanied by good music, exquisite dishes and beers, as well as an impressive selection of whiskies.
05/05/2026: The atmosphere is certainly full of character, given that this establishment is housed in historic rooms with low ceilings topped with beautifully restored wooden beams.
The selection of draft beers is impressive, but a less experienced palate would demand more information from the host. When a guest asked for clarification on my visit, he politely replied that the beers on offer were listed on a discreet chalkboard above the bar.
Unfortunately, the unpleasant odor from the kitchen is immediately noticeable upon entering.

14/05/2026: A classic place of wonderful consistency. Here, cherished traditions are still preserved with style and a deep love for authenticity. Triestine cuisine is celebrated in this restaurant. Jota, delicate gnocchi, wonderfully creamy fusi with chicken, roast with artichokes, veal shank... ohhh. Excellent wine selection from the region and beyond. Very attentive service and impeccable table manners. Bravo!

09/02/2026: It was a nice winter dinner at the end of the year in Modesto 😌 The pizza was delicious. One can choose the "tipo di farina" that is the type of flour for the pizza dough (only 2€ extra). The atmosphere was cozy and warm. We enjoyed the desserts too (torta della nonna, crema catalana). The decoration with ship models is charming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience in Modesto. I strongly recommend this pizzeria. 🙃
28/12/2025: The food was excellent, but unfortunately there were some minor misunderstandings with the waitress! These were later resolved.

14/05/2026: We've been to this magnificent restaurant twice, and both times we had divine food.
The restaurant is located on a street parallel to the Rive, a 5-minute walk from Piazza Unità and the Rive.
Parking is available in the blue spaces nearby.
The dishes are divinely presented; the cold and gratin appetizers are a must.
We also ate the mussels, prawns, and grilled calamari.
Let's just say that whatever you order is truly sublime.
Highly recommended!!!
