31/03/2024: We ate really well, simple but well-kept place, ample parking. The village is also worth a walk.

07/04/2024: An excellent address for authentic local cuisine. The location is charming, a bit old style. Yet in good conditions. The service was outstanding: the lady who took care of us was lovely. The food: GREAT! The cheese, charcuterie, appetizers, gnocchi, meat, sides, dessert. Everything was good.

06/04/2024: When you arrive you find an environment full of people, which is positive, but in my opinion they are not able to handle the amount of work they face. For an aperitif the drinks arrive quite early, but for the appetizers a wait of an hour, after I got up and left, seems like a long time to me, given that the staff seems to make fun of those who only ordered an aperitif, on the other hand, the tables with larger orders have a different, better treatment. I don't know if I will come back if I find the same situation, I sure won't sit down.

01/04/2024: Excellent food and characteristic atmosphere (a little kitsch, but that's the beauty of it). The only sore point: the sommelier. He tried to be nice (spoiler: he ended up being unpleasant) and listed a couple of wines 'orally' for us. He didn't let us consult the menu and didn't tell us the price of the chosen glass of wine. Overall the experience was ultra positive, the fish was very fresh and all the other waiters and the owner were impeccable.

29/03/2024: Good raw and I would say enough. The baked catch of the day with potatoes, although they had cleaned and thorned it, was full of thorns and not well cleaned. The service is not memorable and the place is a mix of ancient and... modern that leaves something to be desired.

02/04/2024: We had booked for the 9pm shift, accepting it as the only solution, we arrived early and rightly waited, from 9pm we started to look out but our table was still busy with dinner, they told us to wait. At 9.25pm ​​we left after being told, in a less than hospitable manner, to wait another ten minutes "because nothing happens if you wait a little longer anyway" I'm sorry sir, but if you work in shifts you have to make the time count even for those who go out, I had 140km to go home and I couldn't wait indefinitely for your disorganization.

16/03/2024: Il locale di piccole dimensioni offre un'atmosfera che ricorda una tradizionale birreria bavarese, arricchita da un sottofondo musicale suggestivo. Il personale è estremamente gentile e disponibile, rendendo l'esperienza accogliente e familiare. La presenza di piatti della tradizione triestina è un tocco autentico e apprezzato. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo. Tuttavia, il vino (terrano) e la pelinkovac offerto dalla casa non sono stati all'altezza delle aspettative personali: la pelinkovac era troppo amaro per i miei gusti, preferisco una varietà meno amara.

15/03/2024: Locale nel centro di Trieste, servizio veloce ed informale, supervisionato dall’attento proprietario . Menu composto da piatti tipici, correttamente presentati dal personale di sala. Tutto quello che abbiamo provato è stato di nostro gradimento. Anche nostro figlio di due anni è stato accolto con attenzione e ha mangiato un’intera e squisita porzione di gnocchi al ragù!rapporto qualità/ prezzo corretta. Locale assolutamente da provare…e riprovare in futuro! BRAVI!

25/03/2024: Stunning location, Lots of peaceful animals in the greenery, games for children, the perfect place to spend a Sunday outdoors with the children! The experience at the restaurant was a little less perfect, long waits and stressed staff... We had a single dish each but we weren't able to eat all together because the courses arrived up to 20 minutes apart, small portions (dish of ravioli with 4 ravioli.. 4!!), some arrived cold or almost cold, paid a lot!

30/03/2024: If you happen to pass by the Alvito area I think it is a must to stop and eat in this restaurant. fantastic food (I recommend the porcini and truffle fettuccine) accompanied by such kindness and professionalism. a special mention to the great craftsman owner! I will be back soon
