01/09/2025: The service is homey, pampered, and attentive. The waiters are young and well-organized. The wine list is interesting and offers a good selection. The raw fish was fresh and clean-tasting. The tagliolini were simply superb. The fried fish was well-prepared and varied. The garden inside is very charming and well-kept. 04/07/2025: According to chatgpt, the cornets were in the top 5 of Trieste's best, but that's not the case. They leave a feeling of excess fat on the palate. The coffee isn't great. The place is very nice, old and well-maintained, but it's expensive.

12/08/2025: I went here with the love of my life! Da Angelina is a quaint seafood spot just off the main waterfront of Trieste. The space itself is homey and warm, filled with visitors' notes all along the walls. The service and our waitress, who didn't speak much English but who accomodated our minimal Italian well, was quick. The fish we got was fresh, but not super flavorful. The cod with polenta was flavorful, but the fish was a bit tough. The fry platter definitely needed a sauce. I would have like to see more vegetables on the menu as well. A lot of shellfish on the menu, if that's your cup of oyster sauce!

08/09/2025: We had a great 6€ Tommaseo coffee and a piece of cake for 8€ was also good...but the atmosphere in the coffee shop was great... btw the entrance is to the right of the restaurant entrance.

23/08/2025: The first restaurant we went to when we arrived in Trieste. And we were absolutely not disappointed. The salmon steak was a dream, the breaded calamari and fish were delicious, and the pasta with mussels was a special treat. The service was very attentive and explained the daily menu to us in detail.

18/07/2025: We have visited this place during our tour in Italy. Food was amazing good! We ordered Spaghetti House dish which definitely can recommend as the taste was awesome! Size of portion in good corelation to the prices. Also, tried local, Italian Processo. The stuff treat us with kindness and understanding of difficulties to communicate in Italian language. Place and location in peaceful area so if you looking something outside city centre - that's the place to go.

15/06/2025: Very good food, great variety of beers on tap. Excellent value for money. Bathroom with changing table. The only big flaw: they don't do separate bills. Considering that orders are taken with a PDA, it's an incomprehensible choice.

14/06/2025: Recommended, with a cool and shady outdoor summer garden. Good variety of sandwiches and dishes of the day, also with vegan or celiac options, and super flexible in adapting dishes for special needs. Good beers on tap, and in bottles they have gluten-free beer and also non-alcoholic beer.

31/08/2025: Excellent food and very helpful service. They didn't have room in the restaurant, so they prepared our food to go in a few minutes. They also gave us good advice on what to choose so we wouldn't have to wait long. And the prices are also very good.

23/07/2025: I was there in June 2025. I politely asked for a mixed scoop in a cone. The man behind the counter replied, in an annoyed tone, that it doesn't work that way, and pointed to a display that said the small cones only contain one flavor. I apologized for not reading, so I ordered a small cone with only one flavor. The cone was handed directly to me, so while I was fumbling for coins to pay (the price wasn't cheap, by the way), the ice cream inevitably fell to the floor. I apologized again to the waiter, who huffed, collected the money, didn't even acknowledge my willingness to clean up, and served the next customers without even offering me another ice cream (which I had just paid for). It's a shame because the product is truly high-quality, but due to the rudeness of the staff, I won't set foot in there again, nor will I recommend it to friends and acquaintances. Maybe they'll be more relaxed this way, since it seems like they're being disturbed when they come in.

16/07/2025: Freundliche Bedienung, sehr große Auswahl und prima Qualität. Es gibt auch leckere kleine Becher wie den Doppocena mit Salzkaramell. Absolute Empfehlung.
