04/07/2025: According to chatgpt, the cornets were in the top 5 of Trieste's best, but that's not the case. They leave a feeling of excess fat on the palate. The coffee isn't great. The place is very nice, old and well-maintained, but it's expensive.

I would 100% recommend it. By the sea with a beautiful breeze, if you're looking for somewhere to go, come here. Five out of five. Robel is was knowledgeable and attentive 🤌

29/05/2025: Abbiamo organizzato un pranzo con famiglia ed amici per festeggiare il nostro 25esimo anniversario di matrimonio. È stata una bellissima giornata,in una location splendida!!! Ottimo il cibo ed ottima la preparazione.Tutto a base di pesce! Un ringraziamento speciale a Paolo per la sua professionalità e gentilezza,e a tutto il suo staff che ci ha accompagnato per tutta la giornata!!! Grazie di cuore!!!!

12/05/2025: We spent four wonderful days at the taverna Cigui during our yoga retreat and were truly impressed. The food was exceptional – fresh, local, and prepared with love. The variety, especially the fish dishes, was amazing. The taverna is set in a beautiful olive grove, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. We felt at home and enjoyed every moment. We’ll definitely be back – thank you for everything!

25/04/2025: Wenn man nicht auf Ketten steht und eher entspannt, wie in alten Zeiten einen Kaffee genießen will, ist man hier richtig. Das Ambiente ist das Gegenteil von Starbugs: Also, wem das gefällt, der sollte hier nicht herkommen! Ein kleines Cafe, old school eingerichtet mit Holzvertäfelungen und Bezug zur litherarischen Historie von Triest. Autentisches Personal, hilfsbereit und nett. Kaffee und Croissants perfekt. Hier kommen viele Einheimische mal eben rein, um einn Nero zu schlürfen ... Absolutes Muss für die, die das Ursprüngliche lieben!

22/06/2025: We were there last Thursday for our anniversary, it was the first time, I had heard good things about it so we wanted to try it. We had a great time, the staff was young but professional and friendly, the food was delicious, I really liked the combination with home-made raw materials served with a certain accuracy on the plate, such as the zucchini parmigiana, good and beautiful to look at. Highly recommended, adequate quality and price. We will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff.

25/06/2025: Historic ice cream shop near the train and bus station. LARGE CHOICE of ice creams, VERY GOOD! There are tables, if you want. For 2+1 scoops I paid €6. Unfortunately, adequate customer service is MISSING!!

16/06/2025: I went back to eat and reading the menu I saw that the pasta with lobster costs 25 euros per portion, so I reminded the clerk that the previous time he had charged me 55 euros per portion....he remembered what had happened, but unfortunately he couldn't do anything about it....55 euros given away....be careful with your bills

19/05/2025: Nei pressi dell'Arco di Riccardo abbiamo scoperto questo piccolo locale che pubblicizzava cucina tipica friulana. Ottima l'accoglienza con personale molto cordiale e attento. Abbiamo mangiato: tagliere di salumi e formaggi locali, frico e polenta, ravioli alle erbe con provola e spolverata di cannella, tutto squisito ad un giusto prezzo.

15/06/2025: Very good food, great variety of beers on tap. Excellent value for money. Bathroom with changing table. The only big flaw: they don't do separate bills. Considering that orders are taken with a PDA, it's an incomprehensible choice.

Good variety of sandwiches and dishes of the day, also with vegan or celiac options, and super flexible in adapting dishes for special needs. Good beers on tap, and in bottles they have gluten-free beer and also non-alcoholic beer.

25/06/2025: The staff is kind, welcoming and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention given to children: we found the place reserved for our two-year-old daughter already set with dedicated dishes, a detail not to be overlooked and that made us very happy. The food is excellent, as is the quality/price ratio. The environment is pleasant and relaxing. We spent a very pleasant evening, thank you, we will definitely be back!

13/07/2025: Sea, camper PIZZAAA, and the second time we order pizzas to be delivered directly to the beach, very kind and punctual staff, good pizzas and for all tastes from the simple caprese, to the sausage and potatoes full of delicious potatoes and the most extravagant pizza CORPSE... for the latter it is better to split it with another pizza because it is so rich that it fills you up too much, we will definitely call again 💪💪💪

12/07/2025: This restaurant has a typically Italian flair. The waitresses are all very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was excellent, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. Bottom line? Highly recommended!

14/06/2025: Siamo arrivati ed il primo impatto non è stato il massimo : abbiamo notato un po’ di confusione nel servizio ed abbiamo atteso un po’ prima di essere presi in considerazione per le ordinazioni …poi quando sono arrivati i piatti….una meraviglia . Bruschette così buone mai mangiate. Caponata sublime . Antipasti caldi e freddi eccezionali . Iper consigliato .

01/06/2025: The portion is generous, you can easily fill up, and it's delicious. Delicious vegetarian options. A vegan option is available if you skip the cheese for the macaroni with eggplant, tomato, and basil. (I recommend this dish.) I personally don't recommend the beer; although it's a matter of taste, I didn't like it. They treated us well and adapted to our circumstances without any problems. You must definitely try the Sicilian caponatina! Outside, it's lovely with the shade and breeze in the summer. (Cover is €3 per person.)

16/07/2025: Freundliche Bedienung, sehr große Auswahl und prima Qualität. Es gibt auch leckere kleine Becher wie den Doppocena mit Salzkaramell. Absolute Empfehlung.
