01/03/2026: Best restaurant I visited on this trip to Trieste. A simple, family-run trattoria with excellent service and fantastic food.
The atmosphere is simple and small, with tables inside and some on the sidewalk. Impeccable, friendly, and very efficient service. They adapted one of the dishes to be vegetarian. The menu features great local options: start with the buttered cod and then order the house specialty pasta, with a sauce cooked for hours, and seafood. Good selection of house wines. Well worth a visit!

19/03/2026: It was a very pleasant experience at the Puro restaurant! The food was extremely delicious, the entire dinner represented a high standard. The quality ingredients and the careful, professional preparation of each dish were palpable. The service was also impeccable and professional. The whole place clearly represents high quality. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

12/03/2026: What can I say? Personally, this is the best seafood restaurant in Trieste. The quality of the food, the chef's expertise, and the kindness and professionalism of the wait staff.
The prices are in line with the quality of the products and still well below those of many other places that call themselves elite.

08/02/2026: A historic restaurant, very unique, but also a bit anachronistic, like all of Trieste.
The fish dishes are classic and truly excellent, not particularly sophisticated, but the price is, in my opinion, unjustifiably high, especially considering the standard service (€3.50 cover charge!)
I would recommend it anyway.

The food is excellent, carefully prepared with quality ingredients, and the portions are generous. The prices are fair and perfectly in line with the quality and quantity offered.
The service is impeccable: the staff is professional yet friendly, always available and attentive to customer needs. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, ideal for both a lunch with friends and a special occasion.
A place we'll definitely return to!

The grilled pork shoulder is also well-cooked, I'd say impeccable. The quality-price ratio is also good. The bruschetta, however, is a bit skimpy and dry. Overall, I recommend it.

A very positive aspect is the focus on health: the restaurant also offers dishes suitable for heart patients, with light ingredients and little salt. It's a quiet place where you can eat well without feeling heavy. Also recommended for those following a controlled diet.

07/03/2026: Seafood restaurant located on Via Luigi Cadorna in the city of Trieste in a small, informal, clean and very welcoming place where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish appetizers, delicious and tasty first courses and tasty second courses, recommended mixed fried fish, good desserts and sorbet, all accompanied by an excellent selection of wines with kind, attentive and friendly service.
07/02/2026: A charming and welcoming atmosphere in a strategic location, close to the city center but slightly out of the way.
We chose this well-reviewed little place and had a great time.
The appetizers were excellent, and the main courses were also good. A bit disappointing with the millefeuille dessert, which was a shame.
The wines were reasonably priced.
The prices for the dishes were perhaps a little on the high side, but fish has its price.
It cost about €70 per person for three courses.

The only downside is that the prices aren't listed on the menu, but they're what you'd expect from a place of this caliber.
