The portion of calamari fritti was rather small, especially since it didn't come with any side dish. It was quite good though, just a bit pricey.

We discovered this restaurant near the marina. It has a lovely atmosphere with a large outdoor seating area. For starters, we had a large salad with burrata, tuna, olives, and cherry tomatoes. For our main courses, we had grilled sea bream and a Ljubljana veal dish. The latter turned out to be breaded cordon bleu. Everything was absolutely delicious. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu – also yummy! We enjoyed it with a dry, white house wine. We were very satisfied and will gladly return.

One of the best seafood trattorias in Trieste. The breaded sardoni are noteworthy: crispy and not greasy. A simple but very welcoming place. Congratulations!

We ate there in the evening. The service was very good and the ambiance was also nice, but unfortunately, my mixed fried seafood platter was a bit disappointing. The fish was of decent quality, but the taste was bland. The advertised homemade basil mayo tasted of absolutely nothing. We also ordered roasted vegetables as a side dish, which consisted of three thin strips of zucchini, two slices of eggplant, and three cherry tomatoes (which were unfortunately very unappealing and there weren't many of them). On the positive side, the waiter took the criticism well!

Wow, amidst the touristy-looking restaurants on Via Torino, this place surprises with heavenly delicious food – it tastes like it was cooked by nonnas for each individual guest. And the prices are almost modest by today's standards.

LE BOTTI...THE APOTHEOSIS
from their fish-based first course, aptly named the Apotheosis.
Fantastic fish and dream cuisine.
The host, BRIAN, is an exquisite person with rare hospitality.
I recommend and prescribe, absolutely.
Not to be missed.

We loved the place, the food, the drinks, everything! From the moment we entered, we felt like we were in a special, cheerful, happy place, thanks to the service from Birame and Daniela, a lovely Brazilian woman; we were treated with respect, kindness, and attention. The seafood fritters were delicious!! Worth checking out!!
