24/02/2026: That's your place if you're looking for regional food. Place is not too big but spacious enough to accommodate some 20-30 people so best to book in advance. Our host was very accommodating and kind person that recommended some of the best foods. I had "Ljubljanska" which is similar to Schnitzel but with cheese inside and mashed potatoes with bacon. I also had Italian craft beer, lager with crisp and floral notes. My friend had goulash, meet was cooked perfectly and stew had sweet and savory taste. We would definitely be back to have Ljubljanska and goulash again and try Jota soup.

I paid €6 for a simple Zabvov (zabaglione without cream, not bombardino) and served it myself because I left with a small shot glass...when a whole bottle at the supermarket costs €10...and in mountain resorts, drinking double the amount, I've never spent more than €4!! It's a rip-off! Shame on you!

10/03/2026: This restaurant, with a wood-fired oven and outdoor grills in the summer, has one of those summer terraces under the stars that's worth three times the price of a table. From the university hill, the view is remarkable, the kind that makes you crane your neck over your dinner to admire it. It's been run by the same family all their lives. It's always been a benchmark for the quality and deliciousness of its pizzas: dough with just the right fermentation, a wood-fired oven that does its job, and honest cuisine based on experience, consistency, and zero unnecessary complications. For those unfamiliar with the pizza menu: the Manuel pizza, with shredded meat, abundant arugula, and shaved parmesan, is unique, fragrant, and surprisingly light. On the other end of the spectrum is the Zola e Pancetta: a burst of strong, crunchy, and memorable flavors. It's not shy, but not arrogant, either, despite being memorable. The first courses deserve attention. There's often excellent fresh homemade pasta, and after a couple of forkfuls, you immediately realize that Grandma is still busy in the kitchen. Then, for the meat, between the griddle and the grill, Mr. Toni steps in. And there, you're on the safe side. A guarantee.

09/02/2026: We found this charming and very well-maintained place almost by chance, especially at the last minute. We were immediately welcomed like family, even though we arrived just as the kitchen was closing. The food was really good. We had a couple of starters and some exceptional pizzas.

Overall, it was inattentive and unprofessional. The incident involving the detergent being sprayed on the next table while we were eating, resulting in a chemical smell that filled our table, is just one example, but it gives a good idea of ​​the level of customer care. I understand the rush, but it can't justify certain shortcomings. The food deserves better; the service, as it is, unfortunately doesn't.

They were all very kind and helpful, and to the choice of only having wines from nearby wineries. Otherwise, everything was truly good, and the prices were fair. The cover charge could perhaps be lower, but they were still good!
