We ordered a grilled meat for two, and even though we were two, we didn't finish it... I highly recommend it for people who want to eat and be completely satisfied. 13/04/2026: Your customers for over TWENTY years, we live in the center of Trieste among the three historic cafés you manage. At Caffè Tommaseo, a family lunch we cared deeply about was completely RUINED. We are still in disbelief at the RUDENESS, ARROGANCE, and utter INABILITY of the "waitress" (young, short, skinny, dark-haired, and with her hair tied back) and the total disinterest in resolving the unfortunate situation on the part of the "matron" (blonde bob-haired). Among all this DILETTANTISM and INCOMPETENCE, our only exception is the waiter, a kind and always smiling, tall, dark-haired man. Faced with such INADEQUACY, having known us for years, he felt extremely EMBARRASSED by how we were treated, apologizing, even though he was not to blame!

12/04/2026: Wonderful experience. High level quality service, very warm-welcoming staff, extremely kind and polite. Tiramisu was the best I have ever had. From now on, this is my must-stop in Trieste!!!

01/04/2026: I'm in Trieste every two weeks, this is my favorite place! The owner takes your order and suggests the fresh catch of the day. Superior quality ingredients. Tonight, the supersonic spider crab and grilled squid, small and tender, were wonderfully flavorful. I can't wait to go back. There's also a decent selection of local wines. Professional service, smiling and courteous staff. I can't wait to go back.

14/02/2026: Ordered for takeout via Just Eat: the order arrived at least 1.5 hours later than the app indicated. I called the restaurant, which gave me a delivery estimate, but again, they were at least half an hour late. It arrived cold, of course. That's unfortunate; if they can't handle all the orders, maybe they shouldn't accept the app orders. I ordered at 7:40 PM and am eating at 10:30 PM. I won't make that mistake again.

18/04/2026: Wait time was soo long. The caffe lattes were very good, but the brioche was the worst one I have ever had. We have taken the pistachio ones. They were stale, the cream didn’t taste like pistachio at all (it literally had the taste of crema). So only the color matched. What a shame after we have also waited 30 minutes Maybe the other pastries and cakes are better, but this was a horrid experience for us. I would avoid buying brioches from here.

20/04/2026: On Saturday evening, we had a truly fantastic evening in a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere! The owners are both professional and very friendly! The fish ljublianka is highly recommended, and the tiramisu is a true delight... If you're in Trieste, you absolutely must stop by.

18/04/2026: The food was poor considering the 88 euro bill. The restroom was also awful. Overall, not worth recommending.
