Osteria Alle Rose In Muggia

Dinner booked to celebrate my name day, and even though there was no room on the terrace, we still appreciated the elegant and cool interior thanks to the air conditioning. Everything was truly excellent, from the raw appetizers to the cooked dishes, and continuing with the first and second courses. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the desserts, but we will definitely be back, of course, booking in advance to enjoy the terrace overlooking the sea. Thank you so much to all the staff for making my dinner unforgettable.

Very cozy little Italian restaurant. The servers were nice, they spoke English. The food is delicious, but I can only say that the portion was quite small. The prices are similar to those in Hungary. In the picture there is an appetizer that we got for free. And every guest gets a heart-shaped lollipop after paying. I think it's a very kind gesture ♥️

Fantastic service, exquisite food. We, two families with 5 children, felt completely at ease.

On the way back from Slovenia we decided to have a lunch stop in this cute little fisherman‘s town outside of Trieste. We picked this place and we were not disappointed. The food was really delicious, every dish was prepared to perfection. I do speak fluent Italian so I’m sure that helped a little, but I can’t understand why some other people give this place bad reviews. At lunchtime it can be a little hot but you have the option to dine indoors with the air-conditioning. The seafood pasta was one of the best I’ve had in years.

Wow! We had some truly delicious fish here! 😋😋 Everything was incredibly tasty and prepared in a unique way. We have been here twice already and every time it was amazing. Highly recommended! 🐟😍

Excellent food. The girl whose name I don't remember was really knowledgeable, she put us at ease and explained the dishes of the day and the off-menu ones. An experience to repeat. See you soon.

My car was broken and I spent one night in a cozy town Muggia. After warm day I had dinner at "Stefano's house". Interier is simple but nice, atmosphere is very nice, you can see fresh fish just behind the entrance in a vitrine. Waiters are very nice, polite and very helpful. First surprise - I have got cold starter as a gift, for free - small plate with three various delicious spreads. As a primo piato I chose Lasagne al ragu bolognese. Guys, they were delicious, fresh and creamy. I would say grandma's lasagne, but my grandma is slovak and she never cooked lasagne 🤣. Then I had grilled squids with Max salad. Again, very tasty, fresh, proper and accurate grilled. I am on a diet, but ... tiramisu could not miss. Again, this tiramisu belonged to the top tiramisu I had ever had. It was with extra portion of a coffee liquor. Clearly said, I am happy I had my dinner at Stefano's house, with very nice and professional waiters and delicious food. And guys, I spent something more over 50 eur, including my soft drinks as well. I recommend you to enjoy this restaurant as well.
