26/07/2026: Our first time in Trieste, we were looking for a restaurant where we could eat well, and after seeing the dishes, we asked for a recommendation... excellent! The staff was super friendly; we ordered seafood dishes and, despite the wait, we ate deliciously! Excellent value, the portions were generous, the fish delicious, and you could taste it was fresh. The wait was made up for with two rounds of complimentary limoncello. Finally, we said goodbye, meeting one of the staff members who was very friendly, courteous, and incredibly helpful. An excellent introduction to Trieste and to us, who, we already know, will be back.

17/07/2026: Absolutely delicious food and a great atmosphere, plus very pleasant service. The only thing I could criticize would be the portion sizes of the gnocchi dishes. I could have easily eaten 10 more plates of the gnocchi pesto zucchini!

13/07/2026: The pizza was very tasty. We left full and still had some leftover. The staff was very friendly and even made us a small snack for Coke. Furthermore, the pizza, hot straight from the oven, was ready very quickly. It's probably for takeout, as there's very little space inside and no plates (the pizza was served on pizza boxes), but the flavor and generous amount of cheese made up for it. There's free parking nearby, literally a 5-minute walk away.

04/08/2026: My car was broken and I spent one night in a cozy town Muggia. After warm day I had dinner at "Stefano's house". Interier is simple but nice, atmosphere is very nice, you can see fresh fish just behind the entrance in a vitrine. Waiters are very nice, polite and very helpful. First surprise - I have got cold starter as a gift, for free - small plate with three various delicious spreads. As a primo piato I chose Lasagne al ragu bolognese. Guys, they were delicious, fresh and creamy. I would say grandma's lasagne, but my grandma is slovak and she never cooked lasagne 🤣. Then I had grilled squids with Max salad. Again, very tasty, fresh, proper and accurate grilled. I am on a diet, but ... tiramisu could not miss. Again, this tiramisu belonged to the top tiramisu I had ever had. It was with extra portion of a coffee liquor. Clearly said, I am happy I had my dinner at Stefano's house, with very nice and professional waiters and delicious food. And guys, I spent something more over 50 eur, including my soft drinks as well. I recommend you to enjoy this restaurant as well.

04/07/2026: Great pizza. Our magician of a waitress managed to get us a table even though everything was very full already. Even in the chaos, she still took her time for us. Prices are extremely fair and the tiramisu is great!

05/08/2026: I took my hotel's advice and came here with the idea of ​​having a pizza. When I arrived, the restaurant was completely full. So I walked for about 15 minutes. When I returned, there was still a wait, and other people were waiting in line. At one point, someone, unfortunately impolite, took my seat without asking the staff. I mentioned it to the staff, who were very kind and resolved the situation quickly. I ordered a pizza with sausage and broccoli rabe. Unfortunately, the sausage was a bit too fatty and a bit dry. The pizza dough, however, was truly excellent and cooked perfectly. To make up for the wait, the staff offered me a limoncello. It was the best limoncello I drank during my trip. Thanks to all the staff for their kindness. It was a very pleasant experience and definitely recommended.

04/08/2026: After reading good reviews, we walked past here. At that moment, there was no space, but we could come back in half an hour. After a quick walk around the neighborhood, we returned, but the table wasn't ready; they said “5 minutes” and then we could sit down. After that, we got the feeling they would rather be rid of us than have us around, and for the first 10 minutes, they completely ignored us. During the meal, we saw one of the staff members saying “10 minutes” or “20 minutes” to everyone, and every table was filled up again and again. The hostess outside managed everything by herself (which was not feasible in our opinion), and the other man kept filling the tables. The food was mediocre; the pizza was not fully cooked, and the egg in the pasta carbonara was overcooked, so it was more like pasta with scrambled eggs. All in all, a mediocre experience, and it is not really understandable why this restaurant is rated so highly.

17/07/2026: We discovered this pizzeria by chance two years ago and were recently back. The pizzas are incredible; the dough is airy inside and crispy on the outside. The tomato sauce has a fruity flavor that adds a wonderful freshness. The sheer number of options almost compels us to make another visit soon. Don't be afraid to try something new!
