23/03/2024: Non-existent service and very long waits.
We arrived and waited in line for half an hour to order and the order arrived after 1 hour. An hour for a plate of cured meats. I asked for a mixed plate and the hand-cut cooked ham was not brought to me. I asked for gherkins and olives and they were not brought to me. We asked for a plate of cooked ham because one of us was pregnant and preferred to avoid raw foods and we waited another hour only to be told that only the bone was left and they had finished it.
Nice location but terrible management and very expensive prices. 135 euros for two very basic mixed dishes, 2 liters of wine, 9 eggs and 8 millefeuille. Totally avoid, we will never return.

15/03/2024: Bella sala grande. Ottimo cibo. Velocità del servizio adeguata ma non era domenica. Molta varietà nell'offerta soprattutto carnivora. Ubicato in Carso quindi lontano dal centro città. Grande parcheggio
09/10/2023: Il Carso è ormai uno dei pochi ristoranti carsolini rimasti.
Mi ricordo, da diversamente giovane, Daneu, Malalan, Pepi, al Posta,
Gregori, Furlan, Diana, tutti chiusi.
IL Carso invece continua la sua opera da moltissimi anni, me lo ricordo che ero giovane (non diversamente !) quando andavo a mangiare il pollo fritto e le altre specialità carsoline. E' un posto assolutamente consigliabile per un turista che vuol conoscere la cucina carsolina (jota, strucolo di spinaze, gnocchi de susini, gulasch, pollo fritto, chifeleti, stinco, rigoianci , paste creme e palacinche) oltre che a ottime costate e ,in stagione, funghi e tartufi. E si possono gustare i vini locali con il Teran al primo posto. D'estate si può poi sfruttare il bel giardino.
Buono il servizio e accogliente il posto. Senza grandi pretese come tutti i
ristoranti carsolini. Prezzo conforme sui 40 Euro/testa. Quindi voto positivo.

22/01/2024: Buona cucina con menù del territorio. Ampia sala con tavoli ben preparati. Servizio tranquillo con i tempi giusti. Buona scelta di vini. Ottimo Prezzo-qualità. Da consigliare anche d'estate per il grande giardino ombreggiato e fresco anche di giorno. Molto bene.
22/10/2023: Gnocchi di patata con sugo d arrosto, filetto al fieno. Tutto molto buono è servito bene. Prezzo buono in un ambiente familiare.
