14/09/2025: Informal atmosphere, generous dishes, and daily specials worth trying...we tried the fresh spaghetti with Orapi and pancetta and the maltagliati with cannellini beans! Pancratio was special and truly pampered us! Congratulations!

11/10/2025: A positive experience. Excellent beer, well-tasted, and excellent pizzas. Super light and fragrant dough, excellent selection of ingredients, carefully crafted and of the highest quality. To top it off, an equally excellent tiramisu and a Slovenian grappa. My colleagues tell me it's one of the best pizzerias in the city. I think it's true. 🔝 BRAVI!!!

22/09/2025: How wonderful! We were looking for a place in Trieste where we could sample the most characteristic Triestine dishes. We were greeted with a smile by the owner and staff, who were truly attentive to their customers' needs. We had the opportunity to sample cured meats, artisanal cheeses, local pasta dishes, and desserts (my Gubana with a glass of grappa will remain etched in my memory forever). I'll be back as soon as possible. Well done Mara.

07/09/2025: Traditional dishes cooked simply yet deliciously. Delicious cjarsons, tasty and balanced frico with polenta, and incredibly tender pork cheeks. Service is prompt, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming—you'll feel right at home.

04/10/2025: Honestly, the food seemed tasteless, very dry and disjointed, as did the sandwiches made with a type of bread unsuitable for frico, the polenta crostini weren't exceptional, and finally the frico dish was small in quantity. The prices were normal, but in line with what was stated. The service could be greatly improved. Perhaps a place better suited to an aperitif than a meal. Nothing extraordinary.

05/07/2025: I would like to point out the saffron ingredient for pizza which is not easy to find☝️ The environment seems banal at first glance but tables and chairs are of excellent workmanship, as an appetizer they served us excellent "bag style" chips so thinly cut but made here. Recommended place.

21/09/2025: One of the best truly artisanal ice cream parlors in Trieste. The tiramisu is a classic here, very sweet but full of flavor. Second place for the Sachertorte. The gelato cakes and the Pratuco Spumone are also excellent.

04/10/2025: Interesting decor and atmosphere. You're immersed in a bygone era. We were seated at a table and were assigned because we hadn't made a reservation. The owner was apparently sitting at a desk right next to us in the dining room, taking calls, processing bills, eating sandwiches, and looking at his Instagram. It's funny, aside from that, the menu is relatively small and manageable, with daily specials or fresh catch, but prices aren't communicated. The food overall was delicious. We had crab. We had fish marinated in onion and vinegar. However, I've had better versions. Overall, the food was okay, the accompanying wines were also very good, but overall, you could call the evening a success, not outstanding.

09/08/2025: Excellent experience! The owner is a delightful person, and the lady who served us was equally attentive and friendly. The food was exquisite, the wine was top-quality, and she provided excellent pairing suggestions. A place we'll definitely return to: highly recommended!

11/10/2025: I ordered goulash and hotas, and I clearly said I'd eat them together, but the goulash kept not coming...ㅠ The goulash came 40 minutes after I ordered. 3 pieces of meat. The middle-aged blonde female waitress was rude, leaving the food on the table without even looking at the customer. The food was also so-so. Go somewhere else.

12/10/2025: The place is very charming, an osteria in name only, with a few touches in the decor that make it simple and very pleasant. We tried the mixed antipasto, tuna with horseradish and mustard, creamed cod millefeuille, spaghetti with seafood, and a crispy and fragrant mixed fried fish. Everything was excellent, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The service was cheerful yet professional. The price was fair for the quality of the dishes. The wines were good. A pleasant evening. Thank you. Highly recommended.
