23/08/2024: Excellent quality food, expertly cooked, excellent choice of unusual beers. Every time it's like a tasting course... Impeccable service. I highly recommend it.

22/08/2024: Beautiful environment, space craft beers. Really delicious menu. I took the fish burger with the breaded cutlet, but unfortunately the cutlet was a little tough to chew. The beef sandwich on the other hand looked really good and succulent. Next time I'll opt for that.

25/08/2024: Lined up for around 20 minutes waiting for icecream at night. I don’t think it was worth the wait it tasted similar to gelato in other stores.

24/08/2024: ero in giro con mia sorella in una caldissima giornata di agosto, giravamo dalla mattina, avevo letto le recensioni positive su questa gelateria e decidiamo di entrare. Mamma mia quanti gusti e avevano anche opzioni vegan !!!! Prendiamo il cono più grande che c'era e vai di gelato!!! Marco è molto gentile e simpatico e ci ha anche lasciato gustare il gelato all'interno con tutte le nostre benedizioni alla napoletana (e campà cient'ann ) !!!

28/08/2024: We did not have a table reservation on 08/20/2024. We waited 20 minutes to get a table. Another 20 minutes of waiting, but we didn't even get a menu.

13/08/2024: A truly successful dinner. All high-level dishes prepared with excellent quality ingredients. But Micol's service should absolutely be underlined: kind, patient and polite with everyone. Very knowledgeable on all dishes and also on wines. He assisted us in that culinary journey with sympathy and elegance.

13/08/2024: I've been back several times, this explains everything! It is a restaurant with few seats in a large space, therefore very quiet and relaxing, the staff pampers you and can advise you very well. Returning several times I was able to taste many fantastic dishes and wines, all of a high standard. Excellent value for money, considering a very high quality. If I were to return to Trieste I will be happy to sit at their table again.

18/08/2024: Gelato eccezionale, materie prime ottime, si sente la frutta, il latte, insomma gli ingredienti. Non troppo dolce come in altre gelaterie. Non appesantisce, non resta sullo stomaco. I ghiaccioli e le granite eccellenti. Insomma consigliato!

03/08/2024: One of the best getali I ever ate in Italy. Large choice of ice creams, sorbets, granités and other desserts. Perfect place to stop on a warm day!

31/08/2024: Wonderful, family restaurant. Cjalson's a discovery! Goulash tender and fine... optimal (as an Austrian I can judge it), as dessert Gubana with grappa another discovery!! Mango sorbetto wonderful. Boss and staff heartwarming and competent. Reserve!

31/08/2024: Lunch passing through Trieste. We wanted a typical Friulian place and this little trattoria is just like that. Mara cooks everything fresh, typical dishes of the area, homemade pasta and desserts all made by her. Delicious Cjarsons stuffed with herbs and salted ricotta cream, a must-try frico. Right portions. The environment is familiar like in grandmother's house, the very kind owner.

26/08/2024: Phenomenal service, excellent food, and a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The staff is both knowledgeable about the dishes and generous with their time, and the owner is pleasant and accommodating. The food was marvelous - tasty, interesting, and carefully prepared. Our time there was lovely and we will surely return if we come back this way.

25/08/2024: Locale molto intimo e ben curato a noi consigliato da una “triestina DOC”. Lo staff sa metterti a tuo agio e le pietanze sono ben studiate e curate. Non mancano esaustive spiegazioni degli abbinamenti proposti. Ottimi sia il piatto dei crudi che il dolce. Pane artigianale e servito tostato sulla brace degno di nota. Cantina dei vini ben fornita e con molte eccellenze locali. Sicuramente da provare se si ama il pesce.

09/08/2024: Tiny, family-friendly place, nice staff, polite service, great food at fair prices. The menu changes almost daily and doesn't have many items, but it doesn't need to. Eating here feels like being invited by the host. I strongly recommend it!

20/08/2024: Actually very nice, but the choice of dishes is very limited as you can only order many things on certain days and times. We also had a lot of things no longer on sale at 10.

11/08/2024: Best red velvet cupcake 🧁 cute place!! There are also plenty of hot or cold teas, kombucha and other drinks that you can't easily find in other places. The brownies are also delicious but nothing beats their cupcakes! An obligatory stop in Trieste

23/08/2024: Pizza is too bad. Dough is too hard and there was not much of cheese. Bad expirience and we are disapointed for pizza like that.

06/08/2024: Most amazing most authentic pizza ever I had pizza romana and some beer for 17€. Best pizza I've ever had. But do not expect much variation on the menu it's just pizza, dessert and beer.

13/08/2024: Il locale è carino,una bella osteria praticamente centrale a Trieste. Il ristorante offre piatti tipici triestini,principalmente. Abbiamo preso il prosciutto cotto tipico, una zuppa e un piatto combinato con diverse specialità. Tutto buono e siamo usciti soddisfatti. Direi ottimo posto per i turisti che vogliono assaggiare i piatti della tradizione. Conto commisurato e giusto, considerando l offerta. Il servizio mi è piaciuto con i ragazzi del locale gentili a spiegare i piatti e simpatici nella gestione del cliente. Consigliato

11/08/2024: From the photos you'd think Novo Foraperfora was a beer hall that happens to serve food, but everything we ate was fantastic. Our waiter, who I think is an owner, took the time to explain all of the day's specials. I had a typical Trieste pasta dish with fresh spaghetti, swordfish, tomatoes and olives. Earthy, super-flavorful and home-made. Side dish was unforgettable: Patate in tecia, which is a typical Friulian contorno with twice-cooked potatoes and pancetta. My wife and I will be attempting to reverse-engineer this in our kitchen until we get it right. Wine was local and delicious. Extremely friendly staff, very patient and appreciative of our rudimentary Italian.

13/08/2024: The shop looks very fancy and the cakes were excellent; but the coffee was cheap and overroasted (or the coffee machine wasn't cleaned-up properly). The only places you can sit are outside and there's no access to restrooms
