30/04/2025: I found myself having dinner in Reggio Emilia for work. While walking around, I found this place open and willing to serve dinner at 7:00 PM (other places opened at 7:30, but I was hungry...). The service and price were good, but the food wasn't so good.

16/01/2026: Seeing a 2cm x 2cm erbazzone for €1.50 (the most expensive in Reggio) is absurd. For breakfast with the family, you spend €25, and the erbazzone and cannellini beans have become tiny (damn SHRINKINFLATION). This bar used to be the hub of the neighborhood, now you have to be a millionaire to have breakfast there.

14/06/2026: They are slow (15 minutes stopped at the drive thru, I had to turn off the car), they get orders wrong and don't take the offers at times when the other MCs take them, plus they put too little sauce on the sandwiches.

24/10/2025: I'd like to comment on the rooms in this hotel, but unfortunately I can't, since that clever guy at the front desk with the beard and glasses, who's probably having a midlife crisis, decided to play nice when I presented my driver's license on the app (Io, app, let's remember state-issued), and he, in his tone that befits his clever face, told me, "For legal purposes, physical fitness is required"... and already there we draw a veil of pity, like the one the poor guy probably has over his life, given the frustration he was emanating. Let's also mention that, to be as thorough as possible, I also attached my health card with my tax code when I emailed him my ID card, and he even had the nerve to quip, "I'm not the local health authority"... And then he asked me for payment in advance, out of suspicion. So it wasn't so much that as the gesture itself and how he presented himself, so either he should change jobs or he should take a relaxing trip.

26/09/2025: We stayed for one night for a dog competition. Although initial impressions may be misleading, I found the rooms to be spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We weren't asked for a supplement for having our dog in the room (a common practice these days among many hotels, who disguise the extra charge behind the label "pet-friendly"). Ample parking is available. The area is well-served, but a car is necessary as it's an industrial zone. Breakfast was adequate for the price charged. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely consider this hotel for the future.

31/03/2026: The service for table reservations is honestly unacceptable, even though a friend of mine booked well in advance. They take several days to respond on WhatsApp, even if you call days or weeks in advance, and it took them 30 minutes to look up the reservation. They didn't let another friend of mine in because the dress code wasn't appropriate for the evening (on other occasions, they hadn't mentioned anything about the dress code). Although he tried to speak to the owner to resolve the issue, he was unsuccessful, and had to go back to exchange the outfit. When the place is very crowded, it's impossible to enter or exit through the main entrance, which can cause serious problems in an emergency. I felt the bouncer showed a huge lack of respect toward my friend, flaunting his supposed "superiority." Furthermore, there was a fight during the evening, and the bouncers weren't even present at the time, and the worst could have happened. If this place has no dress code or regulations, how are first-time visitors supposed to behave? But I mean, judging someone's dress code, yes, but stopping a fight, no? I honestly don't know what to say. Very poor manners and a lack of respect for customers.

25/04/2026: Finally, a simple and authentic ice cream shop. No "gourmet" touches, just good gelato, made the way it used to be: authentic, clean flavors that truly taste like what they are. The atmosphere is genuine and welcoming, and the owner is a very pleasant person. I've read criticisms about not allowing dogs inside: I have a dog who's part of the family, so I fully understand the issue, but I respect the decision. If there are rules, they should be applied consistently. In a world full of manufactured goods, places like this are truly a pleasure. Recommended.

15/05/2026: I ordered a cake that was supposed to be for 4 people, it looks like a single-portion cake... it's the most embarrassing cake I've ever seen, I asked to decorate it around, giving them the opportunity to use creativity, it's completely white... the berries that were supposed to be there are only inside and outside not even a memory, the decoration I asked for doesn't even remotely resemble what I asked for, it was supposed to be a nice and cute cake... and it's a flop...

02/05/2026: This bakery was recommended to us by the hotel where we stayed to rest after a long journey, and it turned out to be an absolute gem. Everything here is wonderful — from the warm atmosphere to the delicious pastries and the lovely staff who work here. I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy great coffee and incredibly tasty brioche.

06/06/2026: Food was brought after an hour and the bar was completely empty... insistence on taking away plates that were still full... fifteen minutes to have some dishes brought, I wanted to run away

07/04/2026: Coming here for pizza feels like home. The owner is always welcoming, and the pizza is always delicious. The quiet atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and eating in peace.

07/02/2026: We used to go there for pizza after the disco 20 years ago. Same staff. The lady at the cashier is always great, very friendly, elegant, and refined. Truly a unique character. The late-night pizza is always excellent. Freshly baked from the coals. I recommend it.

14/11/2025: Beautiful bar and wonderful staff, I think family-like. I had two pastries, one better than the other. The place is very clean and well-presented, very welcoming, it feels like home, even though I'm just passing through. Kindness and friendliness are paramount. Well done, it's a shame there are few places as good and welcoming as them. If I ever pass through here again, it will definitely be my go-to bar. Oh! I forgot! 03/01/2026: A quaint, timeless trattoria in the Parma Apennines, just a few kilometers from the famous Bardi Castle. A colorful and original atmosphere, authentic and delicious food (we had a fantastic torta fritta accompanied by a platter of local cured meats, homemade herb ravioli, and delicious loin and fried porcini mushrooms). Excellent value for money. Paola and Carmela welcomed us with love and kindness, making us feel at home right away. Thank you so much, we'll be back soon 🫶🏻 Susy and Dani
