24/12/2025: Ice cream with too much sugar, Spanish cream with poor quality cherries, old wafers with a bad taste and too high a price, I hope they never fail again.

29/11/2025: I came here specifically on the recommendation of a colleague from another ice cream shop in the province, who said it was a very good ice cream shop since it was closer to my house. I have to say I was quite disappointed. The selection of flavors was limited, with some flavors being monotonous. My only criticism was the service, and the whipped cream in particular, which was very good! I'll return in the future, but for now, I left with a bitter taste in my mouth! Too bad!

13/08/2025: Don't bring your children. I'm taking my son to the emergency room. He had food poisoning after eating meat. The food was stored poorly.

14/02/2026: I could rate the food, but unfortunately we didn't even get to the main course. The owner thinks he's being funny by cracking jokes, but he's actually incredibly rude, sexist, and disrespectful, especially towards women. I'm someone who can tolerate irony, but not insults. Is he trying to be funny? I don't think so, he truly believes what he's saying, but unfortunately, he can't contain himself and repeatedly reiterates how stupid the woman is. Never again! Even though we left before the main course arrived, it had already been 40 minutes since we ordered... and besides...

06/01/2026: The food is like a true local trattoria, something you're hard pressed to find these days. Everything is delicious and surprising, with excellent desserts. The zuppa inglese and the grape sauces with zabaglione are highly recommended.

The menu was left to chance, the dishes were poorly presented, everything was cold, including the tea, which was clearly watered down. And to top it all off, I found a hair that wasn't mine (I have very curly, blonde hair; the hair was straight and black). They noticed I saw it and glossed over it, making me pay for everything. I strongly advise against it. Cir does better.

08/06/2025: Excellent restaurant, excellent service. It's true that in Reggio Emilia and the surrounding area, it's hard to find good alternatives, but here you finally find quality, service, and peace. Very well-kept location...I recommend both the meat and fish menus. Well done!

11/12/2025: Delicious, authentic food! This Chinese restaurant is a real surprise: fresh dishes, rich flavors, and generous portions. The staff is friendly and attentive, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Every dish we tried was excellent, especially the house specialties. Excellent value. 21/01/2026: We went to Elvi, the owner and a longtime friend of my mother, for Christmas lunch in 2025. We had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place is a bar with a trattoria corner, not very large, but with very modern and colorful furnishings. Typical Reggio Emilia food, all homemade and of high quality, with generous portions. You won't leave hungry. I recommend it. Giorgia

18/10/2025: What can I say, we'll be back. Lucky to have found it. We arrived at an awful hour... extremely late... 3:00 PM, but they still allowed us to eat a good and hearty plate of pasta with a side of vegetables. Obviously, given the time, the selection was very limited... but it was more than enough for us... penne with sausage and eggplant... delicious... fast service, very friendly staff. Paid a pittance... 26 euros in total... 2 first courses, 2 side dishes, 1 liter of water, and bread. In the window were also some beautiful and traditional homemade cakes, apple pie, fruit tart... they were a real eye-catcher... I'll definitely try them next time. The location isn't fancy, but who cared? We left more than satisfied! Bravo!

21/10/2025: Trattoria da Gian, Via Piana 31, Cerreto Alpi: Just before reaching the Baron's Bridge and tackling the final hairpin bends before the Cerreto Pass, discover the ancient stone village of Cerreto Alpi. Above, you'll find the old town perched around the church; below, practically on the banks of the Secchia River, the old mill, a charming three-arched stone building. The whole thing makes this place magical. Walking up to the church, you'll find this simple trattoria, da Gian, in a small square. Mountain-style in appearance, in heart, in flavors, and in the simplicity of the few dishes on the menu. A favorite of Lindo Ferretti (formerly a member of the CCCP), the tortelli or tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms are always available, guaranteed to come from the surrounding woods. Simple and authentic ingredients, the scent of beech wood, authentic polenta, fragrant ragù, wild boar stew, and simple homemade desserts. Peace and good food. In August, to create even more magic, the entire village offers a candlelit dinner celebrating the so-called "dark night," a powerful emotion for everyone present. Seeing is believing. (Lucio Duo)

20/10/2025: Cerreto Alpi's only restaurant takes advantage of the village's beauty, its natural setting, and its location, a hub for dozens of hiking groups. The place is very charming, and the staff are extremely helpful. Downsides are the bathroom doors that don't lock, and the fact that there's no POS terminal (though if you book in advance, you'll be informed). Traditional cuisine with a good selection of dishes, though they're cooked to a standard standard. The price, however, is inadequate for the cuisine. Prices should be clearly indicated on the menu.
