04/04/2025: One of the best in Parma, very beautiful both outside and inside. Kind and professional staff. Always a must-see.

03/04/2025: Waiting times too long for an ice cream. Little consistency in the service: in a 1.80 euro cup for children we were sometimes able to order two flavors while the last time only one (who knows what serious damage serving two flavors to a CHILD instead of just one could possibly cause... make up your own mind. I won't go again as, fortunately, there are other quality ice cream shops in Parma.

25/03/2025: We had the opportunity to taste the food of this family-run farm. A few km from the Cisa motorway exit, among the hills of Parma, there is this splendid place (the last stretch of road is more demanding, but nothing to worry about). Greeted by the typical sounds of a farm, you enter rustic rooms, with an ancient flavour, well-kept and very clean. The dishes are all of excellent quality, with 0 km products. Advised.

27/02/2025: You sit in the former nave of the twelfth-century monastery. A concentrated menu with fresh products and very good cuisine. The prices are in the middle without being expensive. The quality consistently surprised us positively in several courses. Here my chef knows his craft. Even the red wine and grappa we chose was of high quality. The service looked after us in a friendly manner. Definitely my recommendation! Free parking behind the house.

09/02/2025: Restaurant located inside an ancient convent in Fontanellato, province of Parma. A revisited cuisine, at times innovative; worth a trip! You can find the same restaurant inside the Labirinto della Masone but, personally, I prefer the main location. I have never stayed at the property, so I can't comment on the rooms but for those who live far away and also want to visit the Duchy of Parma, I think it is an ideal location; especially because in the area there are truly beautiful places to visit.

04/04/2025: Characteristic and revisited environment with the passion that the management does not express only in the dishes. The personalized paintings say a lot about them. Excellent selection of dishes, beers and wine, including bubbles. I always recommend it and no one has ever been disappointed, on the contrary

09/03/2025: We stopped in this place while wandering around Parma and looking for a place to have an aperitif for lunch... I can say that it was satisfying as we didn't have a real proposal, we let ourselves be inspired by the menu... guys, I was satisfied, personally I had a savory breakfast, I received a plate with really excellent cured meats and parmesan, some scrambled eggs all accompanied by amazing white and pink or white and black bread... finally they brought me some toasted bread with little bowls of jam and butter... my husband I opted for a savory pie with potatoes, a generous and delicious portion, together with a plate of super fresh raw ham 🔝 the result was excellent accompanied by a delicious Virgin mojito and a crodino! What can I say, really really excellent... guys, keep it up, for sure if I ever return to Parma I'll come to you again!

06/01/2025: My partner and I stopped for a quick breakfast before leaving. Very kind staff, very nice location and right in the centre. The thing to highlight is the goodness of the brioches, perfectly flaked and filled. Which is no small feat in Parma. Also TOP bread, butter and jam! Also highly recommended for brunch!

12/12/2024: Locale molto isolato a santa Maria del Taro,però se ci si trova nei paraggi è il luogo ideale dove andare a rifocillarsi. Menù concordato, antipasti misti con frittate e vari tortini,torta fritta ripiena di formaggio e poi torta fritta con salumi. Bis di primi,tortelli al ragù di cinghiale e tagliatelle al pesto. Dolce,acqua vino caffè. Tutto ottimo,spesa 30€

The service was personal from the owner who speaks perfect English and with a lot of patience and a smile recommended the dishes. The food is typical for the region and everything was really delicious. We will definitely be happy to return

28/02/2025: A place that is definitely worth it. There were four of us. We ate well and the service is undoubtedly a highlight. It's a shame about the prices being cut (a little too much) upwards, especially when you consider that you can even eat without a tablecloth (an old pseudo-fashion trick that only serves to save restaurants considerable costs and perhaps even make the place settings difficult to trace...). The location is beautiful. I repeat: with a more traditional "mise en place" the price would also have been decidedly more "digestible"...

26/02/2025: Stunning place, even more staff! Traditional quality food, at more than reasonable prices. There are also vegetarian options. We will definitely be back for a nice dinner!
