09/08/2025: In my personal opinion, the pizza is too thin and tough when sliced. The waiters are quick and precise. The table layout, again in my opinion, needs rethinking.

16/08/2025: We had lunch on August 15th. The first courses were very good, there was a set menu. From what I can judge, everything was very good. Perhaps the only thing is that the dessert was a little too expensive, €7/8 each, which seems a little too much to me. Otherwise, everything was good, and we also had a great time with the staff.

01/09/2025: The restaurant isn't exactly cheap. Starters of any kind cost €14, and pappardelle are very salty. Cover charge is €2 for a little bread and paper napkins.

26/08/2025: We've stayed at this hotel four times full board in August, and we've always had a great time. The location is quiet, the rooms simple, and there's no air conditioning, but the altitude makes it unnecessary even in the hottest months. The food is home-cooked, excellent, and plentiful; if you choose à la carte, the quality is superb. The staff is truly friendly and helpful. The value for money is unbeatable.

25/07/2025: I've passed Pomposa many times but never stopped in before. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the manager is very nice; the beers are good and the sandwiches are hearty. Having aperitifs there left a great impression on me, and I think I'll be back more often (even though I live far away).

18/08/2025: We arrived by chance as it was one of the very few places open. We had dinner with tigelle and cutting boards... good food, fast and attentive service. Dining in the square, under the lights on a breezy evening is priceless. Very good place 👍

17/08/2025: We stopped for an after-dinner chat. The place has been renovated; the outdoor area was hot and muggy, obviously not the place's fault. It's nice and large, with seating both inside and outside in the park.

12/08/2025: I know the place but I don't frequent it much, usually only for breakfast. The other day, however, I had a happy hour with friends and I'd like to point out—absolutely constructively—two aspects that I believe could be improved: 1) when you book through the app, there's no option to choose whether to sit inside or outside. So, when you arrive, you have to make do with where they put you, which isn't always appreciated, because maybe you preferred to be outside and end up inside instead, or vice versa. 2) In the inside room—especially when it's full—the acoustics aren't great, and it creates such a "reverberation" that you literally can't hear the person sitting across from you and have to shout. Also, I politely asked if it was possible to change tables because my companions didn't like the air conditioning. At first, I was told that wasn't possible, and later, that if we didn't like the other table, we wouldn't be able to return to our original table. It all seemed a bit excessive to me, especially considering that the place wasn't full and there were still several free tables both on the veranda and in the garden. I believe the main goal of good management is to make customers feel comfortable, not a burden.

26/07/2025: I knew the place because I'd always heard good things about it, but I'd never been for dinner. So here I was with friends, choosing a menu of spaghetti with clams (good) and seafood risotto (good). No main courses. White wine in a carafe was chilled and good. Dessert: a zuppa inglese (good), beautifully presented. Lemon sorbet was average... nothing special. The indoor location was average, the outdoor one fantastic. We sipped a pistachio cream (good) on the house. The staff was extremely kind and attentive to our needs, even when it came to changing our menu choices. Price: excellent value.

26/07/2025: Conoscevo il posto perché me ne hanno sempre parlato bene, ma non ero mai stata a cena. Ed eccomi qua con amici a scegliere un menù di spaghetti alle vongole (buoni) e risotto ai frutti di mare (buono). Niente secondi. Vino bianco in caraffa fresco e buono. Dolce: una zuppa inglese (buona) presentata in modo eccellente. Sorbetto al limone nella norma..niente di eccezionale. La location interna normale, quella esterna fantastica, abbiamo sorseggiato una crema al pistacchio (buona) offerta dalla casa. Personale gentilissimo e attento alle nostre esigenze anche quando si è trattato di modificare la scelta fatta del menù. Costo: ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo

07/09/2025: I often go there with my family, especially on Sundays, to take advantage of their all-you-can-eat ribs, which are delicious, especially when accompanied by green beans. The staff is very attentive, and if something isn't right, just ask. They make their customers happy; for example, at the end of the meal, I ordered an apple dessert with ice cream and a side of berries (off the menu). No sooner said than done. I recommend downloading the app so you can get discounts and coupons to download during checkout. If you don't know how to use the app, they'll take care of it. A big round of applause for those who respond to rudeness with a smile. Good luck!

24/08/2025: Good trio of first courses. The garganelli and tortelli were good, but the paccheri were dry and lacking in sauce. The portions were small, but luckily they added a portion of tortelli. The gnocco and tigelle weren't exceptional.

13/08/2025: I've dined here several times, and both my brother and I decided to spend our eighteenth birthday here. We couldn't have made a better choice: the food is delicious, the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, and the location is stunning. Although not on the menu, their Tortellini alla Panna are among the best I've ever had. This restaurant is a historic and wonderful gem in Vignola.
