28/05/2026: My wife and I were there for an anniversary, and I must say it didn't disappoint. The elegant and understated atmosphere, excellent service, and highly refined dishes, not to mention the wine list, were equally impressive. Since it was our first time, we opted for the tasting menu. I'd recommend the octopus, cod gnocchi, and eel, which were my absolute favorites. The chef and his wife, Rita, were extremely kind, as were all the staff.

28/07/2026: Nestled in the heart of the Modena Apennines, Osteria dal Cinon is a true gem for those who love high-quality cuisine and the pursuit of the finest ingredients. Every dish is meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail. The ricotta tortelli are simply fabulous, expertly prepared and with an authentic flavor. Among the main courses, the truffle tartare is extraordinary, and the Angus steak with truffle is truly exceptional: tender meat, perfectly cooked, and enhanced by the aroma of truffle. The desserts also deserve a special mention. The Vignola black cherry tart, strictly homemade, is exquisite, as is the berry yogurt, also artisanal, fresh, and delicate: the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. A restaurant that combines tradition, quality, and passion in the splendid setting of the Modena Apennines. A gastronomic experience I recommend without hesitation and absolutely worth a visit. Congratulations to all the staff!

07/06/2026: We ate excellent spit-roasted meat! The buffet was small but good! The prices were a bit high, but for me, the friendly waiters made up for it!

27/07/2026: A tavern where you can breathe in history and enjoy good food. The current owner (his former reputation precedes him) is a bit rigid, yet remains very kind about some of the rules he enforces in his establishment. For example, variations to the dishes described on the menu are not permitted. Once, I had the audacity and optimism to show up without a reservation, but I was politely turned away. My suggestion to eat at the counter was in vain because: "It's not something we do." A few nights ago, we got up from the table and went to the counter for the bill. The lady who was making it asked us if we wanted coffee. Out of politeness, I immediately declined. But where were we supposed to have it? At the counter? It would have been better if she had asked me at the table, but in fact I told her: "No, thanks, we're all out." In any case, the food is always very good.

25/07/2026: A beautiful place, nestled in the silence and colors of the Modena countryside, with a warm welcome and service of time-honored courtesy (what a pleasure!) and great professionalism. The menu offers a reasonable number of dishes, mostly authentic to the local area and truly well-prepared. A delightful evening! We'll be back often.

05/06/2026: In nearly ten years of living in Modena, I had never been to this famous restaurant located right in the city's historic center, so, taking advantage of the visit of some friends of mine, I booked a table for six. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a pleasant, familiar atmosphere thanks to the professionalism and friendliness of the maître d' and the wait staff. All the dishes we chose truly lived up to the reputation of this historic restaurant, and by the end of the evening, we were very satisfied. Thank you for the welcome, the food, and the lovely atmosphere.

21/03/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant because it was close to the hotel where we were staying. A welcoming and clean place. I had tortellini with parmesan cream, while my husband had tortellini in broth, followed by Parma ham. Everything was excellent. A little pricey, but worth it.

25/07/2026: The place is nice. But the service leaves a lot to be desired, extremely slow! We sat down at 9 PM and finished at midnight (one meager course for each hour), the food then being barely passable.
