Small but welcoming place.
Decent cabbage appetizer, but nothing special.
Very good first courses; dessert, however, was nothing special, as were the wines that were served to us by the glass.
The service, at least on the evening I was there, did not shine in terms of availability, while a few months ago the owner (I think) had instead been particularly courteous (this time he was not present).

We went for lunch with our girls and had such a good time that we returned for dinner too. Everything was excellent from the appetizers to the dessert, especially the mouth-watering mascarpone with chocolate salami. Davide, owner and sommelier, welcomes everyone with extreme kindness and professionalism. We will definitely return to Modena to taste Zèmian's cuisine again.

Very nice place near the center of Modena. The two of us had lunch, I had wanted to go there for a long time. Excellent and plentiful first courses, fast and courteous service. I absolutely recommend this place for anyone who wants to spend a lunch or dinner in the center of Modena in the company of good, typical Emilian cuisine! I'll be back!

Questa osteria è piccola anche nei fatti, ma è molto molto carina. Menù da tradizione, quindi non molto ampio, ma sempre con un piatto del giorno. Qualità eccezionale! Tutto buonissimo. Personale super simpatico e genitilissimo. Una grande (piccola) scoperta! E poi i prezzi? incredibile, super giusti, onestamente pensavo fosse più caro!

Si riconferma il migliore
Trovato posto per fortuna (ore 21.30 di mercoledì 1/11) ci sono tornata dopo un po’ di tempo e… sapevo che non sarei rimasta delusa.
In primo luogo perché, reduci dalla precedente esperienza, avevamo apprezzato la qualità e la freschezza dei prodotti. Locale piccolo, 4 piatti per portata ma credo che sia la scelta giusta per mantenere sempre una qualità alta.
Il posto in classifica è alquanto giustificato.
