11/12/2025: Dishes and platters featuring local specialties. Accompanied by tigelle or fried gnocchi, they're definitely worth the wait you'll almost certainly have to wait for a table. Good quality, fair prices, and fast service.

10/12/2025: I usually only write when I have to give 5 stars, but today I broke my habit thanks to the owner's kindness. Even though I called, booked, and warned them about the difficulty finding parking, after 5 minutes of being late, he called to scold me and, after a long rant on the phone, he gave me the table away. He should be ashamed of himself. I hope the other customers notice his rudeness too. PS: I see he keeps replying and editing his response. He knows full well that I'm telling the truth. I also see several reviews from people treated the same way, and I remember very well his petulant voice scolding me for being 5 minutes late. I hope people read my review before stopping by and check to see that I've never left negative reviews. He deserves it.

28/11/2025: We ate there on a Sunday for lunch. The place is beautiful, the staff very friendly, and the food is truly delicious. The raw artichoke salad was truly delicious, as were the salami and cutlet. Highly recommended.

14/10/2025: On the occasions I have been there I have always eaten well, generous portions, a well-kept environment and kind and helpful staff. A stone's throw from the Canneviè oasis where you can take a beautiful walk. Nearby there is also the hotel of the same name.

09/10/2025: I stayed 1 night. It's an old 18th-century building. Very beautiful and comfortable. Located within the oasis of the same name, offering hiking opportunities. Stylish rooms and excellent breakfast. Excellent service.

The tour is well-organized and allows you to explore both the noble and richly decorated rooms and the darker and more evocative parts, such as the prisons with their cells and grates overlooking the moat. The explanatory panels, historical maps, and reconstructions are very interesting and help you understand the evolution of the city and the castle. The Borso d'Este Bible is splendid, and the model of Renaissance Ferrara is fascinating. The frescoed ceilings and decorations are also worthy of special attention. Recommended for adults and children: it's a comprehensive, engaging, and never boring cultural visit. A must-see if you come to Ferrara. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Castello Estense is a must-see landmark in Ferrara. A beautiful and historically rich fortress that perfectly tells the story of the powerful Este family and the city's Renaissance past. The visit is well organized and offers a fascinating contrast between the elegant noble rooms and the darker, more atmospheric areas, such as the prisons overlooking the moat. The historical panels, maps and reconstructions are clear and engaging, helping visitors understand the evolution of the castle and the city. The Bible of Borso d'Este is impressive, as well as the detailed model of Renaissance Ferrara. The decorated ceilings and architectural details are also stunning. Highly recommended for both adults and children: an educational, immersive and never boring experience. A highlight of any trip to Ferrara.

13/11/2025: CONTEMPORARY PIZZA... CASERTA STYLE... IT LOOKS LIKE A VESPA WHEEL. I ALWAYS GET THE MARGHERITA WHICH IS THE REAL 🍕 PIZZA. THIS PIZZA... BAKED IN AN ELECTRIC OVEN WITH VERY FEW INGREDIENTS, THE THREE BASIL LEAVES ARE GOOD... 11 EUROS A MARGHERITA COULD ALSO BE OK, BUT WITH MORE TOMATO AND MOZZARELLA. THE FLOUR IS GOOD AND EASY TO DIGEST, AND THAT'S ENOUGH.

07/11/2025: The food is very good; all the dishes are excellent and well-prepared. The portions aren't excessive, so you can order more. The only downside is that it's not very quiet. 😅

18/11/2025: Delicious food, friendly and professional staff, and a casual, clean, and comfortable atmosphere. The pumpkin tart with parmesan cream and crispy speck is exceptional, and the maltagliati with scallop, red mullet fillets, and pumpkin are excellent. The fish is fresh and incredibly flavorful—a must-try!
