07/07/2025: Very nice place in the heart of Ferrara. Good drinks and very kind and helpful staff. The service is fast. The interior is embellished with exposed beams and rough walls. Very suggestive. Highly recommended!

12/09/2025: Having traveled throughout Italy for work, I've had the opportunity to visit many grocery stores and butchers, including the very famous CECCHINI in Panzano. I can confidently say that MACELLERIA RIZZIERI IS ONE OF THE BEST BUTCHER SHOPS IN ITALY. The wide selection of meats and their quality, the result of rigorous control of the supply chain, exercised by Rizzieri from the birth of the animals, to the rigorous feeding, to the environment in which the animals must live to ensure their health, etc., are among the qualities that make up their superb meats. The cured meats are also excellent, especially the RIZZIERI ham, and the various roast rolls and carefully selected cheeses are excellent. In the shop you can also find many other delicacies, from jams to pasta to chocolates, etc. It is a place of excellence that absolutely must be frequented!!!

28/08/2025: The meat is excellent and their dishes, such as asado, BBQ ribs, etc., are also fabulous. A real guarantee.

02/09/2025: Unfortunately, I didn't like it very much: the protein-based pizza was really tough, and I found it very filling. There were toppings, but they didn't taste like much (I had mixed mushrooms and onions). I don't know, it felt like I was eating cardboard. The €2.50 cover charge was accompanied by a minimal plastic placemat. The waitresses looked like they wanted to be somewhere else entirely. I don't know, I'd been there years before and the pizza was good and the atmosphere was better. They may have changed management, but I don't know, but I won't be back; I wasn't satisfied. Free parking in front, on the street, and a private parking lot behind the restaurant.

29/08/2025: Excellent pizza and many different doughs to choose from. Whenever I come to Italy, I absolutely must stop at one or two.

07/09/2025: Good food, excellent tigelle, piada, and gnocco fritto. I'm actually not sure if it's actually gnocco fritto (unless it's the Ferrara variety), but Emilian gnocco fritto is different. The one they offered (very good) was closer to the fried pizza or sgabei of Lunigiana. Excellent value for money.

06/09/2025: I'll always cherish the memory of the wonderful food I found here. Not only the delicious fried gnocchi and tigelle, but also the excellent ingredients, from mortadella to prosciutto, and, last but not least, the parmesan. Unforgettable!

07/09/2025: Large, very good pizzas. Highly recommended if you like thin pizzas with crispy crust. That's exactly what I like!

08/09/2025: New building, large, bright dining room, tables spaced apart to allow for undisturbed conversation. Very nice, bright, hygienically impeccable, and functional restrooms. Service was empathetic, kind, professional, and reasonably quick. The appetizers were very intriguing, the battered porcini mushrooms were delicious. The first courses are essentially an expression of Ferrarese and Emilian cuisine, with some forays into national cuisine, so the tortelli stuffed with porcini mushrooms were delicious. The porcini mushrooms were very fresh pieces, not jarred mush. The second courses, like the first courses, reflected Ferrarese and Emilian cuisine, and I loved the bombette skewers with a side of potatoes. I was tempted by the porcini mushrooms, neglecting the restaurant's true Ferrarese specialties. I will return as soon as possible to fill the gap, but in any case, it's a restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend.

02/08/2025: Fantastic thin-crust pizza. It's also good the next day (not a given, in fact quite rare!) Good ingredients. A shame about the tomato puree. I understand that such a thin-crust pizza can't handle a rich, moist sauce like that made with peeled tomatoes, perhaps hand-pulled (not blended). Obviously, compromises have to be made. However, excellent cooking and overall quality. Highly recommended for bruschetta as well.

10/07/2025: Thin pizza, but I remedied it with the double dough, tigelle inside the chicken-shaped container, very nice and delicious

31/08/2025: Good ice cream shop. Quite expensive. I asked for two coffees, but they only have Americano... aren't we in LA ROMANA?!?

29/08/2025: It looked like a very nice place from the outside, but we went in without reading any reviews or recommendations, and I found the most delicious pistachio ice cream I've ever had. Great atmosphere, friendly staff 👍👍👍

11/09/2025: We visited yesterday for the first time and chose to order takeout. The piadinas were truly well-prepared: fragrant dough, generous fillings, and quality ingredients that retained their flavor and texture even after we took them home. The menu offers a wide and interesting selection, with combinations to suit all palates, including vegetarian options. It's the kind of variety that makes you want to come back to try new options and sample different variations. The service was quick and organized, with friendly staff available to offer explanations and recommendations. Even during busy times, you could sense the attention paid to the customer. It was an experience that left a great impression on us from the first time, and one we'll definitely repeat.

28/08/2025: Good piadina for God's sake but the staff is annoyed and rude, more suited to funerals than to interacting with people. I will never return.

11/08/2025: Excellent food, with bold yet delicate flavors. I'm not particularly fond of Asian cuisine, but I do enjoy a variety of flavors every now and then. Here, you can do that without breaking the bank. Plus, with friends, you can enjoy more delicacies by sharing dishes. Really good, fast, clean, and friendly. Thanks, see you next time!

02/09/2025: My husband chose this place for lunch on his way back from vacation. Mainly because of the convenient location, but I have to say it was the perfect choice. The piadinas were very tasty, which gave us great satisfaction (sorry the photos aren't perfect). They were also all assembled in a specifically calculated and precise way, both to taste all the ingredients together in every bite and to avoid making a mess, which I think is brilliant. Plus, they brought our daughter's piadina already cut in half and each one neatly wrapped, even though we completely forgot to ask (one half actually ended up as a snack). We received truly warm and welcoming service from the owner and the guys who work for us, which made this lunch truly special (and it was clear that this is how it is every day here). Unfortunately, we're far away, but if we ever get a chance to head north, we'll stop here again.

17/08/2025: On a weekend getaway, my friend Selene and I decided to point to a random city and set off. Ferrara, that's the winning city. Arriving in this very elegant and small city, we looked for a place to have dinner, something that would leave a lasting impression. Osteria la compagnia, a completely family-run restaurant, with their friendliness and joy, immediately made us feel at ease, involved, and above all relaxed. We ordered cappellacci with ragù, which we'd eaten elsewhere the night before, but these undoubtedly far surpassed them. We also ordered tagliatelle with chickpea, lime, and shrimp hummus, which I'll try to make again at home, hoping it turns out just as fresh and well-mixed. The pasta was cooked excellently. And then the roast beef, with soy sauce and honey. It was incredibly tender. A light but tasty off-menu dish, we thoroughly enjoyed and even finished it! All accompanied by a Pimpinella white wine from Campania, which I'd never heard of or tried before. It's definitely become part of my sommelier's study log. We'll finish with a dessert, or rather two. A typical local zuppa inglese and a chocolate salami. What can I say? Thank you 🙏🏼 for the service, your kindness, and above all, thank you for the excellent food. We hope to see you soon.

12/08/2025: I've been frequenting the beach resorts for years, but I wasn't familiar with Cannavie's surroundings. A pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is typical of the valleys, the fish dishes are excellent and well-cooked (don't underestimate the cooking... if you have a good product, you can always ruin it), and the service is attentive but not intrusive... congratulations!

27/07/2025: Excellence in every bite. I'm often in Ferrara for work and have eaten at many of the city's restaurants. The dining options are vast, and always satisfying. But Le Due Comari is on another level, and I'm only disappointed I did not discover it on previous trips. The service was exceptional - thanks to Erika and Mirco for your attention and recommendations. The food was spectacular, and the presentation was impressive, a delight for all senses, and this meal will remain a memorable one; if you are a lover of seafood this is the place for you. I look forward to returning on my next visit.
