16/01/2026: Ferrara's historic pub located in the southeast of the city. The Weizen is a small but very welcoming place. This typical English-style pub has an indoor seating area and a covered veranda, and a wide selection of beers to choose from. The pub is always crowded, creating a great atmosphere of relaxation and fun. One of the best pubs in Ferrara.

29/12/2025: The food and service are excellent. The space is small, which is a bit of a limitation, but also a feature that makes it unique in its own way.

20/01/2026: Our favorite dog-loving vacation. Thanks to the "Dog Sport Experience" event, every year we get to spend a vacation in a dream location, where both dogs and children find their space for a fun, relaxing stay with plenty of different spaces to enjoy! See you in June! ❤️

10/11/2025: It's a fully equipped seaside campsite (during the summer). Sea, lake, pool, all sorts of activities, shows and entertainment with qualified entertainers, and even a riding stable where you can go horseback riding in the countryside.

02/02/2026: We return often, and that must mean something, so I'll update and conclude the review. Quick, friendly service, a nice place, a little noisy when crowded, but not always. Various types of dough to choose from (traditional, kamut, whole wheat, etc.) and thicknesses (traditional, pulled, etc.). They also have lactose-free mozzarella for those who are intolerant like me. Delicious pizza, I recommend the "pulled" version, but whole wheat is also available, it's a matter of taste. The desserts are delicious; it's a shame there aren't any lactose-free desserts, but with a lactase tablet you can indulge every now and then. Parking is on the street, but there are spaces in the internal streets of the village.

04/02/2026: A true delight for all the senses. Keep in mind that in this area, the kitchen closes at 2:30 pm. Aside from that, the atmosphere is very welcoming, like a home dining room. The service is friendly but not intrusive. And the food is a real treat for the palate. I tried the tartare and then the pumpkin-filled pasta with butter and sage. For dessert, a cheesecake with cherry liqueur 🍒 was the perfect ending. Highly recommended to try typical local cuisine. Oh, and they serve the traditional bread of Ferrara.

02/02/2026: We had lunch yesterday, they were truly friendly and professional. I think it was one of the best lunches I've had in Ferrara. You deserve at least a Michelin star... truly excellent, and everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. Definitely worth returning.

19/10/2025: Recommended by a friend, we had lunch at this lovely inn located downtown along one of the canals in beautiful Comacchio. The fish appetizers were truly delicious, and the white eel risotto was truly exquisite...all topped with an excellent Greco di Tufo wine, and to finish, a delicious zuppa inglese. The prices aren't cheap, but the quality and service are impeccable. Congratulations to everyone.

12/12/2025: The restaurant is strategically located on the waterfront, and the interior is very tastefully designed and charming. The dishes are sophisticated and very interesting, and above all, delicious. The service was very professional, friendly, and attentive, and even pleasant to chat with. The price was also quite fair. I'll definitely be happy to return.

17/01/2026: It's been a while since we've been here, it's been good ever since. I'd recommend the Tyrolean skewers appetizer for those who love shrimp with speck. Then the exceptional deconstructed shrimp cochtel. Well, look around and you'll want to try every dish.

23/12/2025: I knew this restaurant by reputation because it's affiliated with the excellent Cavalier Uliva. We had a lunch with colleagues before the holidays, and as I expected, we ate wonderfully. We had a cured meats and cheese appetizer with pinzini and two first courses. The homemade desserts are phenomenal. It was a good price (for me) compared to the size of the portions and the quality of the food. I knew it was an excellent restaurant, and it was confirmed.

10/01/2026: Brunetto Pizza e Cucina ..piazza della Repubblica 24 ...Tresigallo province of Ferrara. It is already open and closes at 10.30 pm..this is a place run by friendly staff who welcome you with kindness..in a truly excellent environment where you immediately feel at ease..both inside and outside. There is a lot of politeness inside and you can hear people speaking in a low voice with moderation..I tell you right away that this is a place suitable for groups and families with children..outside we find a nice free parking..as for the menu" in addition to delicious pizzas we find many dishes based on always fresh fish..good polenta with shrimp and porcini mushrooms..and good mixed fried fish, very dry and light..here the thing that will surprise you is that you can find excellent white focaccia seasoned with oil that if you want you can eat outside at the tables under the portico. The prices here are average for fish dishes and honest for the menus... I recommend it if you are on a trip to these parts.
