Nice cozy german styled beer house. Also outdoor seating in spring/summer time. Service may take some time longer depending on crowd (W.E. like). Good beer and snacks selection.

Where can you find a place where a well-filled, huge, and tasty sandwich costs only €8? They have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately, the location can't be rated five stars due to obvious geographical limitations, but the place does everything it can to help you overcome this.

Trattoria La Rosa dal 1908

21/12/2025: Recommended for those traveling and looking for a quick lunch stop in the Salerno area. Fast, attentive service, offering traditional dishes, using traditional, seasonal, and high-quality ingredients. Fresh pasta, sublime escarole and olive tart, eggplant parmigiana just like my grandmother used to make with non-industrialized ingredients, and chicken leg and mushrooms that melt in every bite. Highly recommended.

30/04/2026: We always enjoy returning to this women-run trattoria. The menu is traditional, with the option of a fixed-price menu offering a good variety. Avoid the 12:00 to 12:45 time slot, as it can be very crowded with workers on their lunch break.
10/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch with an Easter menu. Quality and generous dishes. The price was a bit high for an appetizer and a first course. We blame the holiday.
