08/03/2026: If you like simple seafood, this is your place. Excellent fried food, generous and tasty grilled dishes; the octopus on creamed potatoes was a little rubbery.
Wide selection of desserts, moderate wine list, and perhaps a bit of a markup.
09/01/2026: Very nice location, pleasant service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the ingredients (fish) is very high, and they have an excellent wine selection. The only shame is that the first courses are too salty, and I found some sand residue in the sauce.

19/02/2026: My girlfriend, Simona, and I discovered this winery after careful online research, and, intrigued, we decided to head straight to the winery.
We were welcomed by the charming owner, Mr. Vittorio, who guided us through a tasting of white and red wines, explaining the history of the winery and the characteristics of the different labels with professionalism and a touch of humor.
The wines proved to be of excellent quality, well-balanced, pleasant, and light, with a truly excellent quality-price ratio.
We are very happy we stopped by: an authentic experience that we recommend to anyone who loves good wine and genuine hospitality.
PS: A visit to the abbey, just steps from the winery, is highly recommended.

I've been going to La Zanzara for years, it's one of my favorite places. I've been there twice in the last eight months and I've found it to be a different place, not so much in terms of aesthetics; apart from the fireplace, everything is almost as beautiful as before. However, I've found the menu and service to have slipped. The quality is still good, but the dishes no longer have the same refinement and attention to detail as before. It's as if something is missing, the same goes for the service. The criticism is meant to be constructive, as I think it's a shame if a place like this loses the prestige that has distinguished it for years.

31/01/2026: A good restaurant in the center of Codigoro. Street parking, spacious dining rooms, and well-spaced tables. For lunch, there's a €16 fixed-price menu with a variety of meat and seafood options, followed by an à la carte menu. Both the first and second courses are good. A little quicker service would be great for those returning to work. Regardless, it's a good restaurant.

A refined yet simple atmosphere that makes you feel almost at home.
The young and dynamic staff are ready to make you feel at ease, without sacrificing their expertise in offering advice.
The menu, which changes regularly, doesn't offer a vast selection of dishes (this last sentence shouldn't be taken as a negative).
The dishes offered are, in my opinion, deliberately "reduced" compared to a careful selection of unique and refined dishes.
Did I eat well? NO: I ate very well!
Moreover, the quality/price ratio is perfectly balanced.
Without a doubt, a little gem worth visiting!
14/01/2026: A small but truly exquisitely curated place, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I visited during the Christmas season and found it even more beautiful: thoughtful decorations, soft lighting, and a truly pleasant atmosphere, the kind that makes you feel immediately at ease.
The staff is friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. I had the pinsa with mortadella and stracciatella: excellent, just the right amount of crunch, fragrant, and very tasty, with well-balanced, high-quality ingredients. One of those simple yet well-made things that makes you want to return.
It's also a perfect place for an aperitivo, especially in the summer, when it's even more pleasant to linger and enjoy the atmosphere. The prices are average and absolutely in line with what's on offer.
I would go back in a heartbeat; highly recommended!

15/02/2026: Zero stars for food quality. Honestly the worst Asian fusion we’ve ever had. Nothing we ordered tasted good. It’s the first time I’ve ever received a “grilled salmon roll” with meat that was clearly from a can. We ate because we were hungry and did not want to waste money, but then took digestives as soon as we returned home. At least the staff was not rude. But save yourself time, disappointment, and expense by driving to Scacchi and going to Amami — the experience and food there is light years ahead.
