18/03/2025: Being a business that has been open since 1948, and having many fans who speak well of it, I have always wanted to try this bakery from the moment I discovered its existence, especially after noticing that the confectionery production was also significant. I can't say whether the experience was positive or negative; perhaps a middle ground, a gray area that ultimately I didn't mind. Unfortunately, I didn't appreciate the croissants. Not because it was Italian-style dough, but rather because of its dryness and lack of taste in the pastry. And I have tried brioches produced by ovens, but I have rarely found them so unpleasant. It probably also didn't help that the quantities of creams inside them were very minimal, so that they couldn't even mask and improve the flavor. The miniatures, however, didn't displease me at all; and if it is true that among the many pastry shops I have tried, this one remains average, it is also still true that it is a very rustic and easy-to-use production, therefore good by its standards. I particularly appreciated the mignon completely covered in white chocolate: a delight that I hadn't yet found around. I can't say the same thing about pumpkin bread, though. Maybe it's not their forte, maybe the other types of bread, however, are stellar, but this one, despite its goodness, immediately weighed down the stomach, so I hypothesize that there was something wrong with the leavening. The meringues in different shapes and colors are extremely pretty and cute. Delicious for both the eye and the palate. Since I have other tastes in the matter, I don't think I'll return to this place again, but as usual I'm more than happy to try things I'm not familiar with, especially when it comes to desserts. The staff are very kind and the prices are honest: I can therefore understand this popularity in the neighborhood.

17/07/2025: I visited this restaurant recently and, unfortunately, I have to report a significant problem: the heat was unbearable. The clerk, visibly sweating with beads of water on her forehead as she prepared the orders, was a noticeable detail, especially in a restaurant with an open kitchen. The only solution was a fan, but I wonder if it's really legal to have a fan running in a food preparation area: dust, hygiene, and safety should come first. It's a shame, because the food wasn't bad, but such a hot, unhygienic environment ruins the experience. I hope they do something about it, because adequate air conditioning or better ventilation would make the experience much more pleasant (and hygienic!).

31/03/2025: Durante un giro in moto con amici abbiamo sostato all'Osteria dei Bassi per un pranzo frugale , pane fatto in casa salumi e formaggi locali davvero eccellenti , tagliatelle al sugo di cinghiale , tortelli al tartufo nero , gnocchi di zucca burro salvia e prosciutto crudo tutto fatto in casa di pregevole qualità . Non posso recensire i secondi piatti in quanto nessuno di noi li ha gustati , ma quello che abbiamo mangiato era davvero tutto buono.

06/07/2025: I happened upon this pastry shop by chance and was pleasantly surprised, a wide assortment of pastries, courtesy but above all a comfortable and clean environment, the only flaw is a small pastry at the price of a normal one and a lukewarm cappuccino. The prices are higher than average, a pastry €1.90 and a cappuccino €2. A summery expanse with a few tables with uncomfortable chairs. Also open on Sundays until 1pm.

28/04/2025: Trovata per puro caso questa trattoria lascia stupiti per più punti, di cui uno di questi è la qualità del cibo e del servizio. Entriamo incuriositi in quanto a prima vista pare una rosticceria molto casereccia, veniamo accolti da 2 signori poi rivelatesi molto simpatici, cortesi e pieni di consigli sul cibo. Partiamo con 2 primi (tortelli e pasta) di ottimo livello, ma poi ci scateniamo con la salama da sugo e purè, roba d'altri tempi, gusti forti ma per palati fini, il tutto condito con un ottimo vino della casa (casereccio) Prezzo buono e usciamo felici, se torniamo a Ferrara state sicuri che ci torniamo!

16/02/2025: Scoperta per caso, ma piacevolmente sorpresi. Proprietari gentilissimi e davvero super disponibili. Cucina tipica e tutto fatto in casa, davvero ottimo. Anche il prezzo assolutamente competitivo. Ci torneremo senz'altro e lo consigliamo.

18/07/2025: Mobile purchase, wrong mounting holes. I tried to contact them by phone, but they're unreachable. Support was provided via chat, but it was practically nonexistent. A waste of money. I'm giving it one star because it's the lowest I can get.

25/06/2025: I took the salmon lasagna for a very small piece at 6€ but that's not the big problem, but the salmon lasagna tasted only of heavy bechamel and no salmon, in fact after the first forkful I left it there! Inedible!

17/07/2025: No review of the food, but it's so sad how the parrot is kept. Tightly tied and eating from the carton. Horrible, they're even advertising this.

15/07/2025: As much as I hate to write a negative review, I can't help it based on my experience. We booked a table for two (on a Thursday evening in June) and ordered a fried fish dish each and a portion of baked potatoes. After a 40-minute wait for our dishes to arrive, this was the situation: the fried fish dish was extremely greasy, and the fish tasted boiled instead of crispy (perhaps frozen?). We tried the fried fish anyway (adding plenty of lemon juice) just to avoid leaving without dinner. The baked potatoes were completely burned, so we sent them back. For a restaurant (of a certain level, like Aurora should be), these are serious errors (the chef could at least have changed the frying oil). A bad dish can happen (but 3?) on a night when there were only a few people left at the tables by 10:30 PM is inexplicable. Despite the poor service we received, the helpful staff at least tried to partially remedy the situation by not charging us for the side dish and offering us a liqueur. In conclusion, this restaurant in the center of Riccione impresses with its elegant decor and attention to every detail, with both indoor and outdoor tables (but I advise you to pay attention to what you order and the wait times). You'll immediately recognize Aurora by the parrot (the restaurant's star and mascot) 🦜
