This place isn't fancy, and that's fine: the atmosphere is relaxed, the food and wine are good, and the prices are fair. The staff is discreet and friendly. La Baracca is a perfect place to unwind on a weekday evening.

12/10/2025: Very cozy and freindly place to enjoy chestnuts heated fresh, some red wine, tea, cute dessert and warm-hearted setting to sit with your friends ♥️ The only drawback is that it's on the street, so you keep hearing the cars pass by :') but you can still enjoy conversations on the table 😊 Highly recommended 🌟

24/10/2025: I'm dying to return to the city center. I can confirm that it's one of the best bars in downtown Bologna, a good place to socialize, and a place that's more bar-centric than table-centric. In my humble opinion, the drinks are good.

The menu offers a wide variety of dishes: first courses, meat and fish main courses, and pizza, all carefully prepared and truly delicious. The desserts are also worth a visit: the squacquerone and fig semifreddo is a true delight. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the quality/price ratio is exceptional. 10/09/2025: Stunning view... exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and kindness from the table staff... rustic mountain setting, partly run-down with various signs of rust... chandeliers partly in disrepair... which, if cared for, could add value to the whole thing. Welcoming rooms for the newlyweds... except for a few typical country bugs that inevitably pop up here and there... The food served was, I think, the worst I've ever tasted. Good cured meats... Intolerances were certainly handled with the best intentions, but the outcome was truly poor. The dishes were presented at a basic level, not wedding-quality, resulting in a need to use the toilet during the evening and still today, two days later. The lady managing the dining room definitely needs to reconsider her customer service approach... we felt like we were being criticized for being put in a difficult position by our intolerances... but a chef does this for a living, and I can't believe they weren't able to prepare something presentable so far in advance... a first course with reheated zucchini certainly isn't wedding-worthy... a fillet without a cream or accompaniment to soften it or complement it... a tasty tartlet, but served as a single portion at a wedding, no way... it looked like leftover panettone garnished with cream. Not even a decoration on top, so you could see the sliced ​​panettone. I absolutely wouldn't go back, and the price paid, in my opinion, doesn't reflect the quality offered.

12/11/2025: I always love returning to Trattoria Mirola because I already know what I'll order: the trio of first courses with tagliatelle with ragù, tortelloni with butter and sage, and cappelletti pasticciati. A dish that is a manifesto of Romagna cuisine: thin tagliatelle, topped with a rich and flavorful ragù; delicate tortelloni, wrapped in a fragrant butter that doesn't cover but enhances; cappelletti pasticciati, just the right amount of delicious, finished with bread. The second courses are no less impressive: the grilled meat is always tender and flavorful, cooked to order, accompanied by real French fries, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The obligatory finish is with mulled milk: seemingly simple, but actually perfect in texture and flavor. A dessert that lingers in your memory and already has you thinking about next time.

07/11/2025: I ordered a tuna and onion pizza to eat at home. Embarrassing. The onion was added at the door, a clearly lazy method, even though the pizzeria was empty. The tuna was probably added straight from the can, and I mention this because the pizza was all oil. To avoid digesting it after a month, I didn't eat it. Here's a photo of the box, after removing the pizza specifically, to give you an idea of ​​the amount of oil. A real shame, I've always gone to this pizzeria and never had such a bad experience. Must something have changed?

The music is just right, the distance from the tables is just right, and the staff is attentive. The warm sandwiches to try with olive oil are a very welcome bonus! The seafood menu is refined and the plating is expertly executed. We left feeling truly delighted; it was an unexpected surprise!
