16/09/2025: I recently visited Makorè in Ferrara with four friends, and the experience was exceptional. Our group included both Italian and English speakers, but communication was effortless—the staff spoke perfect English, which made everything smooth and welcoming. The menu offers excellent value. In addition to the selected dishes, we were treated to welcome bites and extra small tastings that highlighted the chef’s creativity. The desserts were a true highlight—so beautifully presented that we almost felt guilty eating them, yet every bite was incredible. Overall, Makorè delivers an outstanding combination of quality, service, and value. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined yet unique Italian dining experience in Ferrara.

14/06/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but the evening they made us spend was totally worth it. From our entrance they welcomed us impeccably, the restaurant boasts an attention to detail as high as the competence of the staff. We took the six-course menu, composed of high quality dishes with unusual flavors and combinations but which created a perfect union. I want to thank all the staff for having been careful and elegant, I really appreciated the dessert at the end of the dinner for my girlfriend's birthday.

07/10/2025: Returning to the restaurant after a long time (not living in Bologna), I found it completely renovated and remodeled from top to bottom. It's now truly beautiful and bright. The pizza is excellent and beautifully topped. You can have it stretched (or pulled, as I say) or with double dough. The homemade desserts are exquisite. The staff is friendly and helpful, while the owners have remained the same. The prices are absolutely fair, at pre-pandemic levels.

18/09/2025: A pleasant surprise. A very quiet internal garden. The food is good and the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are competitive.

19/10/2025: Fantastic pizza, thick but light, cooked well, not too thick. They also have seasonal flavors, like pizza with porcini mushrooms and chestnuts. A delicious fried food before dinner was delicious, made entirely on their own, not the frozen stuff from the supermarket.

15/10/2025: Good pizza, medium-high prices, nice outdoor space but tables a bit close together. I tried the "star" pizza, a thinner version with a red base and raw ham and burrata in the center (the edges aren't filled).

11/09/2025: Fantastic piadinas. Every time I'm in the area, I stop by to pick up some to bring to friends and family. There are various types of piadinas and similar specialties. They're usually sold in bags of 10, and on the owners' advice, I've also learned to freeze them so I can buy more. From my experience and taste, they're really delicious even frozen. The vendors are always kind and helpful.

05/10/2025: The first time I discovered this place I loved it where there is so much greenery the thing I liked most was that you could buy their products grown by them I returned more than once despite some flaws such as the menu without prices the total bill not detailed despite having reported it to the relevant people today I returned for lunch and to buy products I was very disappointed insufficient staff and not the fault of the waiters where they were rushed and could not interact even for a minute with the customers however there would be so much more to comment just a small advice for the owner the customer should be treated carefully and pampered and I add the taxes We all pay them perhaps...... And with this I'm done I will not return again.

05/10/2025: A cute little place, very clean and well-kept, even on the outside. In addition to the restaurant, there's a stall outside with garden produce, both fresh and prepared. Genuine and authentic Piacenza food. Excellent quality cured meats, and very light and non-greasy chisolini. The giardiniera is made with vegetables of varying crunchiness, very good. Delicate tortelli, and the anolino is also good, although it's made with meat and isn't typical of the area. Lots of desserts on the menu. Excellent value overall for what you get. There are, however, some downsides: ❌Too many tables in the main dining room. I find three lines excessive unless you guarantee fast service and adequate table coverage. The service is slow and confusing; there's often no one in the dining room to ask, and the girls rush by without a chance to stop them. A bit of a wait between dishes. There's no permanent receptionist outside; people wanting to sit can sometimes arrive halfway up the restaurant, and given the narrow aisle, they're practically on your shoulders. The food is excellent, but the portions are very small. At least the appetizers aren't abundant, while the amount of chisolini is just right. There are no prices on the menu, and they're required by law! (Still, it's not that expensive.) Too many desserts, 10 different desserts. We tried the tiramisu; it was a little watery. The cakes aren't bad. The side dishes are good, but I'd specify that the radicchio is the raw leaf variety. We spent about €130 for four of us, including a bottle of wine, two bottles of water, and tried everything from appetizers to desserts, with a first or second course each. Overall, I recommend it. Make sure to book and come either right when it opens, when there are fewer tables, or later, when most of the service has finished.

08/10/2025: Fresh and delicious food, a good, tasty, and simple menu for a snack with friends while exploring Ferrara's city center. Excellent service and atmosphere, especially the soft music, warm lighting, and niche design. Fairly priced for everything.

06/10/2025: We like it this way!!!!! This place for us is a gem every day, or whenever we can. The counter is full of excellent delicacies, you're spoiled for choice!!!!! Plus, the girls and owners are nice, friendly, and witty, even with a joke. For us, it's a pleasure to enjoy a good coffee and cappuccino in an environment that is very dear to us.
