Excellent food, attentive service, fair price

I recently went to La Casa dei Bardi in Cavriago and I have to say that the experience was truly more than positive, so much so that I decided to write this review to recommend the place to anyone who wants to eat well in a welcoming and pleasant environment. I ordered a mixed fry and I can say with absolute sincerity that it was one of the best I have ever eaten. Often, when you order fried food, you run the risk of it being greasy, too heavy or that the fish is rubbery or not very crispy. Here, however, everything was perfect: the fried food was dry, light and crispy to the right point, with a golden and fragrant breading that did not cover the flavor of the fish but rather enhanced it. Every bite was a little pleasure, you could clearly taste that the raw materials were fresh and carefully selected. My friends, who instead opted for pizza, were also very satisfied. They tried different flavors and everyone noticed the well-leavened dough, soft but with a slightly crispy bottom, and abundant and well-distributed quality ingredients. The service was friendly and fast, the staff was kind and helpful, ready to advise and respond with a smile. The place is very welcoming and has a convivial atmosphere that makes you feel at home. You can feel the passion of those who work there, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. In conclusion, La Casa dei Bardi is a place that I highly recommend, both for a dinner with friends and for a more relaxed evening. It is rare to find a restaurant where you can enjoy such well-made fried food and at the same time a high-quality pizza. I will definitely go back and next time I also want to try some first courses, because if the rest is at this level, then it is really worth exploring the whole menu!

Di passaggio da Cavriago per visitare il busto di Lenin, incappiamo nella domenica di fiera del paese. Alla fine, per poter pranzare, dopo alcuni tentativi infruttuosi riusciamo a prenotare alla Casa dei Bardi. Arrivati davanti al locale l'impatto non è stato dei migliori in quanto il locale si trova, di fatto, inglobato nella struttura che ospita il locale supermercato coop. Tuttavia ci è bastato entrare per capire che saremo stati bene. Locale pienissimo. Clientela quasi esclusivamente locale. Gentilezza sia dei gestori che dipendenti ma anche degli stesso clienti che ci hanno quasi adottato. Un po' come entrare per pranzo in una grande famiglia. Cibo di assoluto nostro gradimento. Onestà, simpatia ed accoglienza. Peccato per i tanti km che ci separano!

Non male come menù a base di pesce, nonostante il locale fosse pieno il servizio è stato veloce e professionale, buono il rapporto qualità prezzo.
