01/06/2025: We had the Fiorentina steak. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. The quality of the service, the meat, and the location disappointed us. Service: The customer service was lacking. We felt unwelcome. Meat: The meat was well cooked on the outside, but not warm enough on the inside. It also had many tough pieces. Location: There was a market nearby that was being cleaned up while we were eating. On the narrow alley in front of the restaurant, trolleys were constantly being pushed past, making a loud noise.

27/05/2025: Excellent tavern in the center with very friendly staff. Definitely a positive experience, I hope to return soon. Excellent potato cake covered in melted cheese.

26/05/2025: Este restaurante fue una sorpresa inesperada, desde la ubicación, el personal amable y los deliciosos platos que sirvieron. Nos detuvimos un miércoles por la noche y nos recibió el chef que puso la mesa para nosotros e hizo que tuvimos una comida maravillosa, desde el prosecco y aperitivos hasta el postre, café y grappa. Nuestra comida más memorable de nuestra aventura toscana. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente!

25/05/2025: Pranzo tra colleghi per il mio pensionamento. Drink di benvenuto servito all'aperto alcolico e analcolico con verdure in pastella esaltato da una splendida giornata primaverile. Scelto il menù fisso con la tagliata, che si è dimostrato molto apprezzato dai commensali sia per la qualità e sia per le porzioni abbondanti. Curato e preciso il servizio, in particolare per la presenza di una persona celiaca, alla quale è stato servito un menù dedicato. Tornerò!

07/05/2025: Just go - this is Way under-rated. The young chef is brilliant with subtle modern takes on classic Tuscan food. We are regulars. It’s the sort of table where each dish is passed around and commented on. The lunch crowd starts with locals - always a good sign. I could get poetic You’ll learn to love pici vongole again. The garlic is a summery cloud Tagliatelle with meaty white Ragu. Yum. Bacala shredded over a creamy beet bed - but no milk Really. Just go.

01/06/2025: One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! I came across it while wandering the streets of Florence. There was a bit of a line, but it was worth the wait. The bread was freshly baked, and they made a huge sandwich with the ingredients of your choice. It was so big that I had it packed and snacked on it all day while exploring the city. I went with roasted eggplant, aged cheddar, sun-dried tomatoes, smoked turkey, and arugula (trust my taste! :) ) Thank you 🇮🇹🥪✨

22/04/2025: We went to this restaurant on January 6th 15 years ago. It was just us, it was very cold, and everything in the area was closed. They served us especially well. It was the most memorable experience we had at a family meal. Now, 15 years later, we went back to try to relive that moment. It was incredible, the same chef served us and we laughed a lot. Our son is now married, we have a few more gray hairs... But the place still has a very special energy... As does the service and the food. We took the photo again, of course...

19/05/2025: We ordered a pizza Giani, which was not tasty at all!!! It cost 13€, and a small beer 4€. But we paid 21€, they charged us 4€ for napkins!!! I didn't think that for a regular service you need to pay 20% of the cost of the ordered dishes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

13/05/2025: We are regular customers, it is a guarantee with a remarkable cost-quality ratio... we had pizza night for Mother's Day, pizzas as always tasty and super desserts... I recommend the pears and ricotta and the 7 chocolate dessert... to finish with the Marengo guarantee... highly recommended.

25/05/2025: Capitato di passaggio con mio figlio, che ha notato lui l'insegna che diceva cucina tipica toscana etc etc. Premetto che sono prevenuto a questo tipo di messaggi pseudo turistici. Devo dire che in questo caso sbagliavo. Carni di prima qualità, primi eccellenti, servizio molto accogliente. Non c'era posto ma sono riusciti ad accomodarci lo stesso. Prezzi onestissimi, provate voi a casa a comprare dal macellaio di fiducia una bella fiorentina, e farete un un bell' assegno. Da ritornare quando passerò da lì.

10/05/2025: Trattoria da Burde is simply the best in Italy! Authentic Tuscan cuisine, real flavours, fine products and a welcoming atmosphere. An unmissable experience for those who love good food!

04/05/2025: Arrived at 15:00 just to find out the the kitchen would be closing soon (officially they close at 17:00)… half of the menu was not available anymore, no pasta offered even though i saw containers in pasta being moved to the fridge. Then received a lecture that pasta is not their focus… Ended up rushing to eat with noone else around us. Service was ok, one waiter smelled like he was drinking. Appetizers plate seemed rather small for the price and not really standing out in terms of flavour. Bistecca was decent, although not properly cooked all around to the term that was indicated to the waiter. I had the impression that they serve happily to locals and do not like tourists coming to their place.

17/04/2025: Ogni volta che passiamo in zona Firenze a pranzo (raramente purtroppo) è tappa fissa. Piatti casalinghi buonissimi, personale simpaticissimo e prezzi super onesti. Il top.

13/04/2025: Arrivato da Bari, il mio unico obiettivo era tornare dal Parri. Autentica trattoria toscana. Faccio decidere a loro, qualsiasi cosa ti portino eè garantito! Tutto eccellente!!! Rapporto qualità prezzo da 10 e lode. Tempio Viola ⚜️!

04/05/2025: We ended up here through a recommendation. Typical Tuscan cuisine. Papadelle with wild boar ragù, polenta with mushrooms and guinea fowl with potatoes, really a delight. If you want to discover typical Tuscan cuisine, this is the right place for you. Be sure to reserve in advance.

11/05/2025: Fantastic vegetarian and vegan restaurant, serving great food and tasty wine. We had the cecina, pesto and potato spaghetti and chickpea stew (local dish) - all delicious! Great atmosphere and service too. Quite reasonably priced too - the portions aren’t massive but that’s reflected in the price, so make sure to try lots of things!! Sorry for poor photos!

12/05/2025: Excelente comida, vino y servicio. Lugar agradable, comida exquisita, muy buena selección de vino, tanto por copa como por botella. Una joya de una ostería que esperamos volver a visitar en un futuro próximo.

09/05/2025: Il Gallo Giallo è una piacevole scoperta. L’ambiente è curato e accogliente, perfetto per una cena rilassata. La cucina propone piatti ben eseguiti, con ingredienti freschi e di stagione. Ottimi i taglieri, i primi e i secondi, con porzioni giuste e sapori equilibrati. Il servizio è cordiale e attento, mai invadente. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, con etichette Toscane interessanti. Prezzi in linea con la qualità offerta. Un ristorante che unisce semplicità e gusto, da provare e consigliatissimo.

22/05/2025: We randomly walked into this restaurant one evening. This has to be one of the best meals I’ve had in Italy so far. The service was fantastic. Their wine recommendations were on point and the food could not have been better. We spent €100 per person but we’re drinking very expensive wine.
