19/05/2026: We were here for a short stopover. I had read the good reviews and really wanted to try it out to see if they were true. I'm more than thrilled. We had such a great meal.

06/05/2026: On our first day in Tuscany, we're staying in Figline Valdarno and looking for a nearby, not-too-expensive place for lunch. We found this place, and it was a revelation. The food was fantastic; both my boyfriend and I ordered the pasta alla ghiotta, as recommended by our server, and it was truly, truly good. The service was top-notch, and the staff was not only professional but also very friendly, which is always a pleasure to pair good food with a laugh! They also delivered super fast; after ordering, our first course arrived almost immediately. We ordered biscuits for dessert, simple and delicious, and they brought them to us with Vin Santo. We drank two glasses of wine during lunch, again based on the staff's recommendation, and we were more than satisfied. Great place, simple, down-to-earth, good food, friendly people: a must-see if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back to try something else!

11/06/2026: Perfect! We were visiting Vinci and stopped for lunch. Browsing the streets, the menu intrigued us, so we went in and found a table. The atmosphere is small, very welcoming, and family-run. Very good traditional cuisine and fabulous service. I would gladly return if we were less distant. Congratulations!

08/06/2026: We had a delicious tagliata with porcini mushrooms. The gratinated vegetables were also good. The service was impeccable; the lady was kind and smiling. It was a positive experience. If we ever pass through this area again, we'll definitely be back. 😀👍

13/06/2026: The staff and food were beyond incredible. And the entire menu is gluten free. Even pasta - and homemade! We stumbled on it 6 minutes from our Air BnB, had lunch and decided to come for dinner!

01/06/2026: The deal with 2 courses, wine and salad (and bread) for 20 Euros (+2€ Coperto) is INSANE. Nowhere in Florence have we found this kind of dinner for this price. The food was not mindblowing but it was really good and filling, expecially for the price. The peposo and truffle pasta are great, and the house white wine is aromatic and came chilled. The staff was friendly and ready to help with everything too!

05/04/2026: We are lucky to have a restaurant such as this close to where we live. The food is "ottimo" and the "Borromeo" Chianti Classico riserva 2021 from the own estate is a delicious very well made powerhouse. Service, the beautifully laid out ristorante, everything is totally on par and tasteful. Next time it will be a bit warmer, so then we will dine outdoors: we will also be able to enjoy the beautiful views of the valley. For the 30th of may we have already booked a "pranzo" and a tasting of the estate wines to enjoy with the family that is coming over from NL and the USA. This was (and will be) the ultimate Italian (dining) experience!

29/03/2026: My husband and I just stayed 5 nights here in March and wow, wow, wow!! We are so impressed with the service, the stay, and the views! The rooms were so beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating — Claudia helped with breakfast each morning and always was so kind in setting up a table on the patio for us and making our coffees, and the staff were kind to give us silverware and plates for some snacks we had brought back. Breakfast always had plenty of options and fresh pastries, fruits, eggs, etc. We absolutely hope to return again one day. Also can’t say enough about the location - very central and convenient for day trips into Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, and other surrounding towns. San Casciano in Val di Pesa is also a lovely town with everything you need - grocery, gelato, restaurants, etc! The restaurant wasn’t open for the season yet, so we will HAVE to come back!!!

11/06/2026: 33 (from 31 to 35) I'll gladly return when I'm in the area. LOCATION 7: A bit anonymous from the outside, but quiet and not far from the lake (despite not having a lake view). Inside, the tables are large and comfortable, with plenty of space between them. Clean. MENU 8: Extensive enough to please everyone, normal/generous portions, both the pizzas and the main courses were well-cooked and topped. SERVICE 9: Friendly and helpful waiter, unobtrusive, attentive BILL 9: Fair value for money

23/04/2026: The restaurant boasts a bright and warm décor, and the food is delicious and appealing. We had made a reservation in advance and planned our desired dishes from the menu on their website. Unfortunately, the restaurant had just updated its menu the day before, but with the patient guidance of waiter Diego, we quickly selected our favorite dishes. The complimentary meatballs tasted somewhat like pan-fried meatballs, with a refreshing tomato sauce. The pumpkin and shrimp risotto with shrimp tartare was delicious, rich in shrimp flavor and refreshingly light. The thick-cut pasta with asparagus and squid was also refreshing, with a prominent fresh tomato flavor. The braised pork chops tasted similar to char siu, chewy and slightly tough, but paired with turmeric and cumin mashed potatoes, they had a subtle curry flavor, which was quite unique. A special thank you to waiter Diego; his patient, attentive, enthusiastic, sincere, confident, professional, and smiling service made us truly enjoy the restaurant! Thank you again, Diego!

06/05/2026: Il Santo Bevitore is indeed trendy but we were lucky to get a reservation for dinner. The location is nice and reminds me of New York, but it cannot be described as rustic or homely. The menu is slim and a bit complicated, we didn’t had the ”ohh I want to eat that”-feeling but rather based our selection of the evening on exclusion of dishes we didn’t like (e.g octopus, pork rib tarrine, lard). Maybe we had a unfortunate timing of the menu in relation to our preferences, but this was not my top 5 in Firenze for this trip.

20/05/2026: Lovely food, but chaotic. Had to ask the waiter more than once for items we ordered. Like the open kitchen so you could see it all being cooked.

19/05/2026: We bumped into Ristorante Trattoria on April 30 and had a delightful evening with fantastic food and wine. Overall, our best meal during our 10 days in Italy! David, our waiter, was helpful about deciding our order and was attentive all evening. When we return to Florence, we will definitely go back.

13/04/2026: Great service and beautiful space, that makes you feel that you are a local. A little disappointed with food. For appetizer we got burrata with truffles and it was solid. For mains we ordered pasta with wild boar ragu and pasta with truffles. While ragu pasta was delicious, the other one felt incomplete and lacking of something. Tiramisu was great, to be honest the highlight of the dinner. Overall it deserves 4.5 stars.

29/05/2026: A tiny, unassuming restaurant in the heart of chianti.. we were recommended to go here by our hosts and it was 100% worth it.. a family duo running the place. Great wine selection and the most tender bisteccha ever!
