19/01/2026: Came here for its reputation of traditional Florentine steakhouse. The restaurant opened after 730pm and there was a huge line outside. We had to make reservation a day before because this place looked quite popular. Inside there were mix of locals and tourists like us. It had friendly waiters, prosciutto hanging from the ceiling, and tight seating. We ordered the Family Style Ribeye Steak Chianina Certified. They brought the cerficiation paper showing the meat was from Chianina. We were impressed and we felt there was no need to bring such proof. So they brought in bread, appetizers, prosciutto, rice salad, beans, potatoes, pasta... They were all delicious and well made. I had high expectation for the ribeye... The ribeye came out raw. It was unexpected and surprising. The blood was in the meat and it felt chewy. I couldn't enjoy it. I am more used to medium rare. I politely asked the waiter to bring it back to the kitchen and cook it into medium rare. The waiter refused saying it is the way it is. It was traditional Florence steak, and the chef would also refuse to cook it further. I gave up. I gotta say traditional Florence style steak is not my taste. Perhaps for other people Everything else afterwards was great. The tiramisu, panna cotta, and the complimentary drinks and the coffee. I gotta say the service was spot on Overall, I enjoyed everything but the steak. Total bill was over 200 euros. If i had known florence steak was raw, i wouldn't have come here. It was an expensive teaching. I hope this review helps the reader to test out traditional florence steak elsewhere before committing to expensive trial. ; )

02/02/2026: Cozy and friendly atmosphere, also food is amazing! We tried truffle, seafood carbonara and classic pomodoro basil pastas. Utterly satisfied with all of them. Not crowded and not a tourist trap, must try!

04/01/2026: I didn't try the restaurant part, because I ate pizza. However, the pizza was very good. It comes in two versions: thick and thin. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were good at entertaining, but they were more focused on regular customers and a bit neglected the tourists... the prices were really fair.

29/08/2025: The food was delicious. The waiter was a sweetheart. I misordered my dish because I didn't understand what he was saying, and he replaced it without any problem. A complete Italian experience.

The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. Service is fast and punctual. The dishes are listed on a blackboard and can be chosen upon entry. The menu is varied and features typical local dishes. The dishes are made with high-quality ingredients, are generous, and carefully prepared. The prices are moderate and consistent with the menu. Reservations are recommended. Parking is available in front of the trattoria. Highly recommended.

12/01/2026: Had the pappardelle with wild boar ragù which was absolutely magnificent. The staff was also lovely and the restaurant itself had all these charming seperate and unique sections.

03/02/2026: We came here on our stay in Florence as it was recommended to us by our hotel and it didn’t disappoint! The steak was cooked perfectly and the wild bore pasta was incredible. The burrata stuffed ravioli was simple but perfect. The salad we ended up ordering another one off because it was so nice. Dessert, no words best tiramisu we have had in all of Italy. The staff for incredible as well so nice and the food was very quick! We will definitely be back.

03/02/2026: We are travelling from Australia and this place came recommended by the receptionist at our hotel. It was amazing!! The food came out so fast and the steak was amazing. We got so much food and it was so delicious we decided we are going to come back again the next night! We got two desserts to share among our group, a tiramisu and crème brûlée, both of which were delicious and we finished so fast! The staff was incredible and even brought us a free dessert!! Definitely recommend coming in and eating here!!
