14/08/2025: Excellent location, right in the town square. The room was standard, fairly clean, but a towel was missing, and a bar of soap was already opened. But the biggest problem was the lack of breakfast. We'd mentioned that one of us ate a savory breakfast, but the morning clerk didn't know, so she brought a single croissant and then half a schiacciatina from the next door. The coffee and cappuccino were poor.

30/09/2025: Very nice place, we went for lunch, it's a very well-kept location with wonderful greenery. Excellent cuisine with a traditional menu but the dishes are very well prepared.
12/07/2025: We were here for a wedding. The location is gorgeous, the food is quality. The portions aren't very generous, even though they're reheated. The staff is kind and helpful, though not all of them are very professional.

20/08/2025: An unforgettable stay... but only because I can't wait to forget it. This guesthouse in the woods should be used as an example in a manual on how not to run a hospitality business.
The rooms? So dirty I doubt anyone has ever cleaned them: cobwebs artistically draped in the corners, sheets that tell the story of those who slept there before me, and a musty smell that lingers everywhere.
The service? What service? There's no reception, no one to turn to, not even a hint of welcome. If I'd had a serious problem, I think I'd have had to ask the deer in the woods to lend me a hand.
A true "nature refuge": a refuge to forget, nature in the sense that dust grows like wild flora.
If you want to ruin a weekend and test your limits, this is the perfect place.

13/09/2025: I don't understand some of the very positive reviews. We had a Fiorentina, and you have to eat the meat rare; it's indicated on the menu. You don't see the raw Fiorentina; you only find out the actual weight on the bill. The meat was okay, but at €60/kg, you expect more. More bones than actual meat, the meat was very marbled, poorly cut, and unpleasant to eat. The side dishes were okay, but the beans were lackluster.
Without the appetizer, the bill was quite high.

10/05/2025: Viajando por trabajo, cené aquí solo por recomendación de mi anfitrión Airbnb. Disfrutamos mucho de mi comida - la pasta hecha a mano era delicioso. El servicio fue amable y rápido. El precio era razonable. No me sentí fuera de lugar comiendo por mi cuenta, me dieron una mesa regular, no sentado al lado del inodoro / cocina / aire acondicionado unidad (como a menudo sucede a los comensales solos! )

21/10/2025: Now only the name remains. The outdoor setting would be nice if it weren't packed with people, unlike a stadium. Terrible food, rushed, poor quality ingredients, and poorly cooked. Dishes that should be served hot arrive cold or microwaved hot. All this at embarrassing prices. To be avoided at all costs.

26/09/2025: Not your typical restaurant. Over the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Oltrano on a quite little street corner, you will find one of the best restaurants in Florence. The food is authentic Florentine and I suspect mostly locals eat here. Its more like going to your familys house for dinner, not fancy but you know everything was prepared with passion and love.
Our waiter Tony was excellent. He made his suggestions and we ordered everything he said. The Tripe Florentine was nothing like we were use to. No red sauce, no potatoes or peas. It was in a simple broth of onions and carrots and the best we have ever tasted. The Ribolita was also outstanding. We also had the pork chop which was tender and amazing. Tony was so kind and he even let me try speaking to him in Italian. We enjoyed the house wine. The meal was so good and Tony was so welcoming, we went back on our last night in Florence.
The menu is simple and the food was delicious.
If you can, stop by and see Tony and oh, take his suggestions on what to eat.
We will definately go back when we return to Florence
24/09/2025: Tony was an expert server. The food was remarkable, particularly the famous steak. It’s a great menu for family style dining and sharing the meal. The wine selection and suggested pairings were marvelous. I loved getting to enter the kitchen and sear my own steak! The experience was great and we will definitely return.

Hanno a menù ricette tipicamente toscane.
Sapori forti a tratti rustici estremamente soddisfacenti in un ambiente amichevole e con ampio parcheggio.
Personalmente mi è piaciuto tutto quello che ho assaggiato e certamente ci tornerei
