02/06/2025: Siamo stati a cena, attratti dalle buone recensioni. Si ordina della pasta... Tagliolini al tartufo e delle pappardelle al ragu di coniglio. Purtroppo molto mediocri , in modo particolare i tagliolini...del tutto insapori,.., che non hanno soddisfatto le aspettative . Per cui si e' deciso di non ordinare piu' nulla.. Il ristorante e' piuttosto piccolo ma accogliente . La decantata toscanita' , a malincuore , la si e" trovata altrove.

01/06/2025: Renovated place, old-fashioned cuisine. Traditional Tuscan food prepared by Filippo, a really great and very friendly chef. It was like eating at grandma's, you feel at home. Excellent wine list.

15/05/2025: I visited Badia for the walk on the paths and I used the structure for a lunch with excellent sandwiches. Very kind and courteous staff.

25/04/2025: Well prepared dishes, nice atmosphere. In fact we had arrived about 60 minutes before closing, perhaps for this reason we were a little pressured in choosing the dishes, which were excellent anyway, and ignored when we tried to draw the attention of one of the owners to be able to order something other than dessert, a somewhat self-defeating choice in our opinion. Twelve euros for a liter of wine decanted from a five-liter bottle, therefore oxidized, and two euros and fifty for a coffee taken at the counter. Let's say that if it happens to us again, we will make more prudent choices.

28/04/2025: At Stracotto, you can eat really well. Whether it's a family dinner or a party with friends, you honestly couldn't ask for anything better. High quality dishes from appetizers to desserts, excellent livers and cold cuts, an amazing cacio e pepe and honorable mention for the steak. Great courtesy from the dining room staff and it is located a stone's throw from the Duomo. Overcooked, highly recommended

28/05/2025: Trattoria dall’Oste no es la opción más barata de la ciudad, pero vale cada centavo. El servicio era cálido y profesional, la comida era excelente, y la selección de vinos era excelente. Si vas a visitar Florencia, tienes que probar la bistecca fiorentina aquí, perfectamente cocinada, tierna y llena de sabor. Fácilmente una de las mejores comidas que tuvimos en nuestro viaje. Muy recomendable si buscas una experiencia gastronómica de calidad y un sabor real de la Toscana!

28/04/2025: Siamo tornati dopo 20 anni. L’ambiente è sempre uguale ma il gestore no. Tutta un’altra atmosfera. Buoni i primi, abbastanza bene la carne. Ricordo con piacere quando l’allora gestore a fine cena ci aveva portato nella adiacente casa del popolo per offrirci un digestivo. Ora invece il gestore ci ha offerto la pasta in bianco dei bimbi a 15€ a piatto, 8 carciofini a 24€, 10 funghetti sott’olio (un po’ vecchio) ad altrettanti 24€ e il coperto anche per la bimba di 1 anno che non ha mangiato. Il tutto tra schiamazzi e confusione. Sinceramente ci siamo sentiti turisti da mungere.

19/05/2025: we took a chianina: nothing to say! terrible! overcooked on the outside and dry, blood was coming out from the inside. we also took some Florentine peas that they took off our bill because they had oversalted them. good baked potatoes, the male waiters were very rude. we won't be returning.

10/05/2025: We find ourselves very well, the tagliata is always super ok, croutons and cold cuts are good. We go there often and by now we have consumed everything on the menu.... and let's not forget Andrea, the chef who always lives up to expectations. In the dining room, Grazia is attentive, available and friendly with everyone.

21/04/2025: Avevo due ospiti Veneti amanti della famosa Bistecca alla Fiorentina e dopo la prenotazione del tavolo che se vuoi mangiare diventa obbligatoria siamo andati un poco prima dell'orario classico del pranzo in modo di stare più tranquilli e ordinare in santa pace. Abbiamo mangiati i soliti antipasti Toscani con i classici crostini e dei salumi ottimi con un Prosciutto Toscano tagliato a mano eccezionale . Di primo Ribollita e poi due Bistecche al sangue meravigliose . Dessert la loro torta di mele fantastica e caffè fatto con la caffettiera e servito in piccoli recipienti di metallo e smaltati come erano una volta anche le pentole o i tegami .

15/04/2025: Vinimos aquí por recomendación como la mejor pasta en Florencia. ¿Por dónde empiezo? El personal era bastante desagradable, pero nos pareció una mesa (reserva con antelación si quieres comer aquí). No se prestó asistencia para traducir el menú. Siento ser turista, así que me disculpo por necesitar un poco de ayuda con esto. La comida era bastante mediocre - podría haber cocinado esto en casa desde el armario de la tienda. Las porciones eran mediocres también. ¡Lo mejor está por venir! Mientras esperábamos a que nos entregaran nuestra comida, la silla de mi marido cedió y lo depositó en el suelo (¡tiene más de 60 años por el amor de Dios! ) nadie parecía demasiado preocupado ya que se sentó allí en el suelo en shock. De hecho, para añadir insulto a la lesión, la camarera estaba más preocupada por la silla volteadora! ¡Le dejaron encontrar su propia silla de reemplazo también! Honestamente no puedo creer lo pobre que fue el servicio aquí. Supongo que este lugar depende un poco de los visitantes turísticos. Realmente no se sintió como esta noche. Lleve sus euros a algún lugar que valore más a sus huéspedes que los muebles.

10/01/2025: Ate and drank very well in a homely atmosphere and attentive to the availability of customers. Incredible selection of pizzas (I recommend "Via della Lana e della Seta") but also a very honest variety of fresh handmade pasta, from the Tuscan-Emilian tradition. Compliments. PS: I have never seen such a well done digitized menu!

25/05/2025: Very nice restaurant located in the center of Florence, in Piazza della Repubblica, where there is also the famous carousel with horses. Tables in the outdoor area and therefore outdoors, but also tables inside the restaurant. Large and well-furnished restaurant. A large bar counter at the entrance, clean and well-kept private bathrooms. Given the beautiful day, we had lunch in the outdoor area. They served us some tasty appetizers to start, we continued with a first course and at the end we tasted the cheesecake for dessert. We also tasted the cantucci and other various chocolates. Courteous, friendly and helpful staff, while the service is quite fast. Average costs for the city center. There is some parking nearby, but it is in the middle of the ZTL, so pay attention to the electronic gates, the times and the prohibitions.
