16/03/2025: We had lunch in the restaurant on the terrace of the Hermitage hotel. Absolutely splendid location, both for the view and for the layout and furnishings. You can eat both in a beautiful room and on the terrace. The beautiful waiting room. You eat well, rich and well prepared dishes. Truffles and mushrooms are the most used ingredients, but for those who don't appreciate there is no shortage of alternatives. Prices consistent with the location, position and food. Absolutely to book to avoid not eating there. Advised

12/01/2025: Pranzo domenicale ottimo, antipasti con crostini misti buonissimi, pappaal pomodoro rivisitata con stracciatella, a seguire risotto di zucca con taleggio e cavolo nero, poi filetto lardellato con profumo di albicocca e rolle' di galletto con fegatini e prugne, vino locale il Morino piacevolissimo consigliato da uno dei proprietari, servizio e pulizia perfetti! Avevo un pochino freddo e gentilmente ci hanno spostati al tavolo vicino al caminetto. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo ottimo! Consigliatissimo!

27/02/2025: Typical restaurant, with various rooms, reservations required, excellent service, decent food quality, I didn't appreciate the fact that the meat is served only blood, I understand that for the steak it would be heresy to serve the Florentine steak not rare but having to impose a single cooking on the customer even for the fillet I don't find "democratic". Furthermore, their bottled house wine didn't excite me as well as the crostini with livers in my opinion not very aromatic, you could smell the innards a lot.

26/02/2025: Recommended by a friend, we went to this restaurant with the intention of tasting typical Florentine cuisine. The visual impact is pleasant, there are several rooms, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly and the service was excellent for the entire duration of the dinner. The mixed starter is very good, consisting of really excellent Tuscan crostini although I prefer the coarser texture of the liver, very good local cured meats and a fresh and pleasant spelled salad. Having never tasted (I regret and regret) either ribollita or pappa al pomodoro, we ordered both and were truly enthusiastic, everything was delicious and the dishes were as clean as if they came out of the dishwasher. The second courses chosen are the peposo and the stracotto, with a side dish of roasted potatoes and beans all'uccelletto, both excellent. The peposo cut of meat is the priest's hat, which I love. Meat cooked very well and very tender, it falls apart just by looking at it, but I warn you about the sauce which is really difficult due to the amount of pepper: it is for strong palates! The stew is really good, nothing to say. Not being wine experts, we opted for the classic house wine, Chianti, which satisfied us. At the end of the meal we chatted with the young owners, who informed us about the family management, something we really appreciated. Congratulations indeed, we will definitely be back!

30/03/2025: Bread was stale and at least 1-2 days old. Service was slow and arrogant. Waiter did not ask if we wanted drinks. Pastas took more than 30 minutes (still waiting)… would not recommend eating here. Worst meal we had in Florence. Definitely avoid eating here.

01/04/2025: I recently ate a Florentine steak at the restaurant "Alla Griglia" and I have to say it was an exceptional experience. The meat was tender, tasty and cooked to perfection, with a crispy outer crust and a juicy center. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant very welcoming. A great place for meat lovers! Every time I return to Florence I eat at this place to savor this delicacy once again.

27/03/2025: The food was so good we had 3 meals there. Pasta was perfectly cooked. The desserts were delicious. The staff was very polite and helpful.

25/03/2025: Typical tourist restaurant with crazy prices and reheated food. The restaurant manager is the sore point of the restaurant. A boy with black hair and a beard, very rude and not very polite throughout the service, he tried to make jokes at the girls at the table which were in poor taste, I would say. If your staff behaves like this I would hardly return and I strongly advise against it. We had dinner on Saturday 22nd March

18/02/2025: Personal muy amable y servicial, y siempre a mano para sugerir un vino para adaptarse a un plato. La comida es deliciosa y se abastecen de quesos locales, etc

18/10/2024: Piatti tipici fatti e serviti con amore e con materie prime scelte con cura, in un locale piccolo ma accogliente. Ci ha risollevato il morale in un sabato sera di pioggia. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

The generous portions that at a certain point we asked to suspend the courses, the chef was very friendly and present at every request. Place with convenient parking, and barrier-free entrance I would say is perfect in every way

26/11/2024: Trattoria/osteria tipica che mantiene il fascino rustico di un tempo e gestita dalla signora (credo) Paola che è di una squisitezza infinita. Abbiamo mangiato piatti della tradizione che non hanno nulla da invidiare alle tanto osannate e decantate portate gourmet. Antipasto con focaccia fritta ripiena di mortadella, pesto e pistacchi e come primo tortelli di patate con crema di parmigiano e guanciale croccante. Il gradimento di questi ultimi potrebbe essere riassunto con la frase inglese "something to die for!!". Torta di mele con crema calda e cantucci offerti con vin santo. Se potessi darei 10 stelle.
