16/11/2025: Super cute patio dining with lights in a little piazza. We happened on this place on a little stroll across the Ponte Vecchio. We had pasta with pear and the best filet of steak I have ever had in my life. It wasn’t bistec fiorentina but it was still suuuuuper rare, which I love!!! Melt in your mouth tender and perfectly seasoned. I will dream about for weeks! I will, without a doubt, return for that steak.

15/11/2025: We got the house salad and the Tbone steak, both were excellent! Everything was great!

10/12/2025: Amazing! We ate here twice during our stay in Florence. Top quality meat! The beef stew was absolutely delicious and the hamburgers were very tasty served with baked sweet potatoes. Wonderful service, thanks to Lapo! The restaurant has a lovely, romantic feel. We definitely recommend it!!

07/12/2025: The food was delicious, the service was welcoming and attentive, the place is huge, with lots of seating. I don't know if it's 5 stars just because it's very noisy, and I prefer more intimate places. Otherwise, the girls who served us deserve 10 stars, and the meat is top-notch!

17/11/2025: We ordered both the meat and fish courses separately. I think I ate six plates for over two hours, and they were so abundant that I wondered when they would end. The amuse-bouche was incredibly salty, but the other dishes were delicious. I also tried pigeon for the first time, and the sauce smelled a bit off-putting, but it was okay. The tiramisu was truly delicious. They asked for a tip when paying, which was a bit much, and since we live in a country where tipping isn't a culture, I felt a little bad about it.

10/11/2025: Upon entering the restaurant, the entrance has an amazing walkway of fairy lights that make for an amazing photo. Once through, the dining room abruptly starts and you are left standing there confused until one of the waiters acknowledges you to seat you. On the night we went, there were only two other tables and we were placed next to the entrance such that we couldn't see into the kitchen. That night, they were training a waiter so we had a weird experience of one waiter with amazing service and attentiveness and another where you would not expect for fine dining (Not pouring water for you, not explaining the dishes, not cleaning up the plates and table after each dish etc.). Apart from that, food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed each meal. We opted to select one meat and one seafood course so that we could try one of each dish. Each course brilliantly highlights the local Tuscan cuisine so you won't miss out whatever you choose. Given the restaurant is of such a high calibre, we were expecting both the service and food to be perfect. This was probably a once-off issue but unfortunately was our experience coming all the way from Australia looking forward to fine dining in Italy!

05/04/2025: In questa osteria trovi il cibo genuino come una volta, il tortello mugellano di qualità eccellente, porzioni generose e attenzione verso il cliente. I prezzi sono veramente onesti, come non si trovano più da nessuna parte. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile con i nostri figli, ci ha persino regalato un pezzo di crostata a testa per far fare loro merenda! Se ci troveremo nuovamente nella zona ci fermeremo senza ombra di dubbio! Super consigliato!

03/12/2025: Good morning, I was there on Sunday, November 30th. We had appetizers and first courses, and then we ordered 1.5 kg of Angus steak. I noticed on the receipt on Monday that they charged me for the Chianina, which costs €20 more per kilo. I called them, sent them the entire receipt, and they told me I ordered the Chianina. I was very disappointed. This was their response. Thank you, check the receipt.

13/11/2025: Not in the historic center but easily accessible by tram, this historic osteria offers genuine and authentic flavors. The atmosphere is elegant, with select bottles of wine. Welcoming service. Quality food, with excellent meats.

05/10/2025: Ordered just pizzas and beer. The taste was like frozen pizzas from the supermarket. I wish I could rate them even lower. It is a shame to serve such bad pizzas for Italy standard. The service was Ok however the waiter was a bit unkind with a face like he is not happy to serve us.

05/11/2025: I have to say the food was good, even if a bit pricey for the quantity served (just consider that the fish, sold at €7 per 100 grams, was the flat rate for the sliced ​​steak, which was probably not even served whole). But, I repeat, everything tasted very good, the only reason for two stars instead of one (no, the friendly waiter also contributed to a less than total disaster). From the entrance, we found, in order: - one of the two forks encrusted with dirt. - a beard hair inside the lasagna (resting on the edge of the plate and duly ignored when I picked it up). - the waiter, who, although friendly, thought it best to smoke several times during the service, thus decanting a stale tobacco wad that was unsuitable for the service. - the coffee cup was extremely dirty, as if the coffee machine had exploded on top of it. In short, for a restaurant that presents itself with even the slightest pretense of quality, I have to say it was truly disappointing. I'm not used to negative comments but I'll present everything in an analytical way hoping for improvement because, I repeat, the food was really good.

13/10/2025: I was there for lunch on Sunday, what can I say? Fabulous dishes, excellent service, fair price, very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

13/10/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. Let's start with the service, which wasn't bad but not quite up to par. The waiter, probably a novice, first forgot to bring water, which was requested a second time after a few minutes of waiting. Then, when the appetizers arrived, he hadn't cleared the bread plates, and we were the ones who had to put them aside and hold onto them until the main course. Considering the €3.50 cover charge, I expected a little more attentive service. Appetizers: We had the same appetizer, porcini mushrooms. It was good but too sweet and sour, a characteristic that recurs in several dishes (too much for me). Main course: I had the chicken with ricotta and sweet potatoes, while my boyfriend had the onion stuffed with Taleggio cheese. We both didn't enjoy these dishes very much. The side dish, the same for both main courses, was sweet potatoes, decidedly soggy and super greasy. I left them on my plate. The chicken piece, given the price, was honestly too small, but the flavor was good and delicate, along with the creamy base. Regarding my boyfriend's second course, the stuffed onion, honestly, the price didn't match the dish either: simple, unpretentious ingredients for a price that was too high. The flavor wasn't pleasant, especially on the outside of the onion. The desserts were good. If we hadn't had the 30% discount from The Fork, the total price would have been much higher than we paid, about €60 per person, which, to be honest, is a bit too much for what we ate and the service provided.

12/10/2025: The food was very good; we had two appetizers (two tartares) and two first courses. The service was excellent; the waiter was always professional, kind, and helpful. It was a bit hot, unfortunately. Overall, we had a great time.

03/12/2025: What a wonderful place to find with the friendliest people and plenty of gluten-free and vegan options. Definitely a most go especially if you want organic food.

30/11/2025: Food great. Staff superb, administrator was very attentive to all requests, served our and other three tables. My daughter vegetarian keeps saying it was the best meal in whole trip around Italy. Seemed a big challenge to find something that awesome in all-about-t-bone-steak and all-kinds-of-touristic-crap Florence. But we were extremely glad we did. Personally, focaccia is the top choice. Risotto and eggs could be more flavoured, but those are taste differences. Amazing value for money. We are coming back
