12/01/2025: Pranzo domenicale ottimo, antipasti con crostini misti buonissimi, pappaal pomodoro rivisitata con stracciatella, a seguire risotto di zucca con taleggio e cavolo nero, poi filetto lardellato con profumo di albicocca e rolle' di galletto con fegatini e prugne, vino locale il Morino piacevolissimo consigliato da uno dei proprietari, servizio e pulizia perfetti! Avevo un pochino freddo e gentilmente ci hanno spostati al tavolo vicino al caminetto. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo ottimo! Consigliatissimo!

02/05/2025: Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti da Zio Gigi, il proprietario, che ci ha fatti sentire a casa, ci siamo seduti a tavola e lo Zio Gigi ci ha fatto molto ridere. Abbiamo mangiato abbondantemente e molto bene, il servizio è stato molto veloce e il personale molto simpatico e disponibile. Una bistecca non era abbastanza cotta per i gusti di uno di noi e si è offerto di cucinarla ancora di più! Abbiamo speso circa 20 euro a testa (per come abbiamoangiato e un presso meraviglioso. I bagni sono puliti. Grazie Zio Gigi!

05/04/2025: In questa osteria trovi il cibo genuino come una volta, il tortello mugellano di qualità eccellente, porzioni generose e attenzione verso il cliente. I prezzi sono veramente onesti, come non si trovano più da nessuna parte. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile con i nostri figli, ci ha persino regalato un pezzo di crostata a testa per far fare loro merenda! Se ci troveremo nuovamente nella zona ci fermeremo senza ombra di dubbio! Super consigliato!

18/05/2025: Le aspettative erano buone ma sono andate fritte! Che grande delusione. Fritto unto e salato di un mix di ossa messe li. Poi evviva le patate surgelate a peso d'oro! Per non dimenticare la pressione da parte dei camerieri come al 90' di una partita di calcio. Da evitare!

18/05/2025: Expectations were good but they went to waste! What a big disappointment. Fried greasy and salty from a mix of bones put there. Then hurray for the frozen potatoes worth their weight in gold! Not to forget the pressure from the waiters as at the 90th minute of a football match. Avoid!

06/05/2025: A truly memorable lunch! We have been several times already, and it never disappoints! The Osteria Porta del Chianti is a small jewel immersed in the tranquility of Falciani. The menu is a journey into the most authentic Tuscan flavors. We tasted several dishes and each one was a confirmation: tagliatelle with white ragù and porcini mushrooms, tortelli with wild boar ragù and tagliatelle with nana sauce – all excellent, with fresh pasta and rich seasonings. Among the second courses, the stew with vinsanto, the sliced ​​meat with lard and rosemary was tender and tasty, and the lamb chops cooked to perfection. The house red wine accompanies the whole meal very well, rounded and pleasant. Finally, the desserts: semifreddo with berries, tiramisu and grandmother's cake served warm - one better than the other, but grandmother's cake deserves a special mention: simply not to be missed! Warm welcome, rustic but refined environment, attentive service. Fair prices for the quality and quantity. Thanks to the owner Francesca!

18/05/2025: Prezzo troppo alto per quantità e servizio maleducato, qualità abbastanza buona. Hanno sbagliato ben 4 ordini… per niente cortesi (ovviamente per il prezzo non è stato un buon servizio)

11/04/2025: Dopo aver prenotato, uno di noi ha richiamato per fare piccola precisazione scoprendo che .... la prenotazione non era stata registrata. Prenotazione rinnovata, rimediata, fortunatamente. Arrivati alla spicciolata, il tavolo era pronto, ma per la comanda abbiamo dovuto attendere un pochino, poco male, chiacchierando quasi non te ne accordi. Antipasti; buoni affettati, crostini un po'risicati, rimediati con altro piatto di portata, carciofi fritti decisamente buoni, anzi, buonissimi!!! Ordiniamo le pizze: siamo in 8 a festeggiare il compleanno di un lui e una lei- Il vinello della casa è frizzantino e leggero, le battute si sprecano, ma delle pizze .... boh, il forno è li, a poca distanza, ogni tanto parte un tagliere dal bel diametro, pizzonato, ma da noi .... forse il forno è piccolo, non è ben chiaro. E' ben chiaro che le pizze arrivano due a due, distanziate nei tempi, purtroppo. Agli altri tavoli, si mangia. Morale, non ci è piaciuto vedere che c'era chi mangiava e chi no: è pure arrivata una pizza sbagliata, ce la siamo tenuta, chi era in attesa della sua scelta, qualche "spuntino" lo ha comunque fatto. Peccato, servizio affidato a ragazzi e ragazze giovani, da coordinare. Una signora del gruppo ha avuto la sua pizza dopo tempo immemorabile. Non va bene, siamo in una pizzera: se hai una comanda di 8 pizze, segui la comanda e non vai a caso, come ci è sembrato sia stato fatto. Pizze comunque gradevoline, nel complesso. Abbiamo avuto tutto il tempo, nei fatti, per i piccoli festeggiamenti. Il conto è stato equo.

19/05/2025: Flew in from ldn n msia, booked the restaurant, but to our disappointment , Italy welcomed us with terrible manners by clanging/dumping the plates on my table, staffs were arrogant and rude. Despite food being edible, it has terrible staffs and credibility. It was such a wasted dinner experience in Florence. Definitely don’t recommend this place

18/05/2025: Reservations can only be made by phone. So I made one for 2 people, almost 20 days in advance, for 1 pm - the restaurant's opening time. When I got there, when I said I had made a reservation, there was a little confusion/inconvenience, as if they weren't prepared for that reservation. But I noticed that one of them checked and saw my name there. Anyway... they seated us at a table for 2 outside, even though it was very cloudy, and there were other tables for 2 that weren't occupied. We asked if we could move to a different table if it rained, and the waitress changed the subject, saying that she didn't think it would rain. So we ordered and suddenly the weather cleared up and the sun came out, very hot. We asked to move to a table next door that was still empty and sheltered, but the waitress brought an umbrella that helped my husband get some shade from the sun, but I still stayed in the sun... As for the dishes, the mozzarella and truffle starter is delicious. The two meat dishes were tasteless and the presentation was not very elaborate. The wine was excellent. While we waited for the desserts to arrive, it started to rain heavily and since the umbrella they had provided was not waterproof (?!) we were taken to a waiting room. There we ate the desserts - tiramisu and cheesecake - delicious by the way and drank espresso (very bad compared to many others we had in Italy). Summary: a bill of EUR 150 with food that was not worth it and poor, pretentious and confused service. It seemed like they had purposely given us that precarious and uncomfortable table, because we were tourists, Brazilians, who knows... During this 1-month trip, we went to many excellent restaurants, both in Croatia and Italy, and none of them had such disregard and arrogance in the service. This was the first restaurant where we left less than 10% as a tip.

13/05/2025: This is a friendly and honest restaurant. The food was delicious. They told us they were fully booked and asked us to wait a certain number of minutes, and they showed us to our seat at almost exactly that time. The menu is only in Italian, but the staff is fluent in English and was happy to answer simple questions. Perhaps because we were at the back of the restaurant, there was no signal and we couldn't use our smartphones, but we had a comfortable and relaxed time from start to finish.

24/05/2025: Buca Mario was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere, service, and food were awesome. We were greeted at the door, Acknowledging my birthday. They sang birthday to me, lit a candle on top of a huge fake birthday cake, then allowed me to choose desert of my choice for my birthday. Our servant was the best.

24/05/2025: Incredibly poor experience. Such high reviews, so difficult to get a reservation. I’ve loved in Florence for three years and finally went. The arrival gives you the sense of being hearded like cattle. Order appetizer and main course and bottle of wine and water for the table. The water was served within 5min, the wine arrived after 10min, and I mentioned to the waiter that the bread service had not arrived. He left the unopened bottle of wine on the table and disappeared for about 5 minutes. He came back with a bread basket and then opened the wine. I tasted it and mentioned it needed to air out and he immediately served the wine in an aerator. That was probably the only good point of service. The appetizer l, pecorino with apples and honey, was delivers about ten minutes later, and it was good, not remarkable but good. The main dish, Tagliata with patate, and mushrooms when I asked for no mushrooms. The waiter offered to take it to the kitchen to remove them, to which I responded it’s ok I’ll pick them out. The shock came when I ate the first piece and it was cold. Cold. The potatoes were also cold. My friend ordered the same dish and hers was also cold. Our steaks were also remarkably different portions. The picture I save is of my dish, unfortunate I didn’t get one of hers. We called the waiter and said it was cold and he apologized and said he’s asked to have it redone. He handed the plates to a coworker and that coworker came back in about 5 minutes with our same plates and said here you go it’s freshly made. I could still see the missing piece of the one I cut. The arugula bed that the steak was served one as wilted. Clearly this was not a fresh dish. They microwaved it. We told the waiter and he said, no , no it’s freshly made. I said we would pay for what we consumed and would leave. He apologies and instructed to go to the register to pay when we were ready. We left immediately, left the bottle of wine, glasses full and walked to the register. They charged us full price for the bottle, the appetizer and a full cover charge of ten euro, and were offended that we were leaving. Shocking experience in the land of great food. The people in the table next to us, had to send Mack their French fries from the fish dish she ordered. They brought back over cooked fires. Probably microwaved also. Shocking to see they have Michelin stickers in their window. Must be photoshopped or old and they must have e lost all their accolades long ago or are due to lose it. Shockingly poor service and food.

14/04/2025: Bonne table pour déguster des plats toscans. Restaurant agréable et bien décoré. Service rapide et efficace. Les plats sont copieux et en prenant une entrée pour deux , deux verres de vin, et un café, vous vous en sortez avec 56€

24/03/2025: Este restaurante nos lo recomendó nuestro tour, guía y conductor de autobús, que también cenaron allí esa noche y comer allí cada vez que están en Florencia. Hay muchos restaurantes para elegir en Florencia Italia. Queríamos la experiencia completa de Florencia de un restaurante de propiedad familiar y sin duda cumplieron. La comida era deliciosa. El servicio fue amable e informativo. Todo era una gran relación calidad-precio y recomiendo este lugar a cualquiera.

13/05/2025: Great resteraunt. With a true tuscan inn feeling. Food is plentiful mixed appetisers nearly a meal on its own. Veal steak was tender and melted in the mouth. BBQ ribs very good. And a large selection of wines 🍷 👌

10/05/2025: Nothing short of fantastic evening with super food and impeccable service, in a fun and family atmosphere. The guys and the owner treated us like queens at my hen party, with laughs, jokes and a surprise cake 😍 Highly recommended for special and non-special dinners. 5 stars!
