28/08/2024: Went in here for no other reason than hungry and walking by. Was the best decision ever. My fiancée is gluten intolerant so we went for steak and potatoes Sharing platter at €45 and it was out of this world. Every bite including the fat which I normally cut off and throw away was full of flavour and just melted In the mouth. The steak was Chianina which I've never heard off but now will look out for. This has ruined me for life as that will be the best steak I ever eat. The restaurant also has an open kitchen so you can watch them wrestle and cook the mammoth steaks in front of your eyes. The staff were fantastic as well. Please go if your walking by

30/07/2024: Appena tornato da un pranzo ottimo. Un assaggio di pappa al pomodoro e poi un tris di primi ad ora tarda a pranzo composto dalla pasta lorda che è piatto antico e squisito, tortelli di patate e tagliatelle ai funghi. Amaro della casa, cantucci e vin santo. Tutto sopraffino e un servizio caldo e accogliente. Da vegetariano mi sono trovato benissimo, il locale ha una bella terrazza estiva e all'interno è storico, bello, toscanissimo e, soprattutto, autentico. È stata la prima volta su consiglio di un amico ma sarà la prima di una lunga serie.
24/07/2024: O melhor restaurante que já comi na vida. Atendimento é feito com tanto carinho e atenção que me parece que estou em casa.
Não deixe de provar a nuvola com mortadela e pistache. Comi coelho e estava incrível. Para terminar uma crostata de ricota de pecora, ah e o vinho santo que não pode faltar.
Este restaurante tem uma memória afetiva muito grande para mim, mas sem a atmosfera e o carinho que somos recebidos nada disso teria o mesmo sabor!

14/07/2024: Chalet con tetto in travi di legno tra gli alberi di Barberino del Mugello.
Servizio buono, cameriere gentilissime.
Ottimi i crostini al fegato.
Ottima bistecca alla fiorentina, bel taglio e cotta come si deve.
I prezzi sono in linea con i tempi attuali.
Da ritornarci se si passa da questa parte di Appennino.
Buon appetito a tutti.

14/08/2024: The beef fillet steak I didn't order came out and I had a hard time explaining that I didn't order it, and the salad that should have come first came out last, but the naan. The taste was great and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

Maybe a little slow in serving the dishes, but without making a fuss when we are out for dinner we can wait a few more minutes.
Well ventilated in summer, you can eat under a canopy outdoors.
Pleasant overall, will come back.

08/08/2024: On the plus side, the many choices, the large portions and the good service. Also, this particular shop stays open later than most in the area.
On the downside, the relatively high price (although expected due to the ingredients and size) but mainly the fact that the sandwich I tried was too salty (Favolosa). Nevertheless, I would go again.

13/08/2024: Place slightly outside the historic center of Florence, with a not very nice environment but good service and good cuisine, shame about the very limited choice of dishes to choose from, if you are looking for a quick meal this is the right place, excellent prices.
13/08/2024: The food is very good, the atmosphere is good despite the heat (although not enough air conditioning), but the service leaves a lot to be desired. First, the employees were “pushing” the table towards each other because no one wanted to serve, then the waitress didn't like it when we asked for 500g of meat to share because according to her the ideal was 800g for two people, and finally, when it was time to pay the bill, instead of printing the bill for verification, they just put it straight into the card machine for payment and they also didn't like it when I asked to see the detailed amounts. Anyway, there is good food in other restaurants, the discomfort is not worth it.

19/08/2024: Florentine steak! They served dry-aged T-bone here. The steak was roasted in charcoal fire. Only a dash of fleur de mer, the steak was delicious! The fat was crispy and full of flavour. The beef itself was tender and rich in iron flavour.
07/08/2024: Three women went to eat pasta and T-bone steak. I asked for 1 kilo of pasta and T-bone steak, but was told I should order 1.2 kilo. When he said he knew, he brought the meat to check and asked if it was 1.3 kilograms and if it was okay. Even if it's not okay, it's the restaurant's method, so it's okay to spend money and eat delicious food when you're tired. It was cooked to medium, but it was hard to eat because there were a lot of tough parts, and I was full so there was quite a bit left over. Don't ask for a tip. I went there because I was told I could order by the 100 gram unit, but it was no different from other famous restaurants. Go to famous places.

16/08/2024: Anni fa ho già recensito questo locale, l’avevo trovato ottimo e l’ho consigliato a molti amici, non so se è cambiato qualcosa ma oggi è stata un’esperienza pessima!
Abbiamo fatto oltre 100 km per gustarci una vera fiorentina, ne ordiniamo una e la cameriera ci chiede “con filetto o senza?” La chiedo con filetto facendo osservare che senza filetto è una costata e non una fiorentina! Dopo poco passa un cameriere che tenendola ben alta sopra le nostre teste ci comunica che è 2 kg e se va bene. Ribadisco che se ha un bel filetto come peso mi va bene. Passati una ventina di minuti arriva una costata (senza filetto) mi rivolgo alla cameriera dicendo che non è ciò che avevo chiesto e vengo liquidato con un “è quella che ha visto!”
Alla cassa ribadisco la mia contrarietà e a tutta risposta con menefreghismo assoluto mi fanno pagare una costata come fosse una fiorentina
Non so se è cambiata la gestione, io sicuramente non lo consiglierò più a nessuno!
23/06/2024: Il locale è molto carino e in un contesto molto bello . Abbiamo cenato in 2 per 156.20 eurini . Sì avere capito bene pure 20 centesimi . Il prezzo non è adeguato a ciò che abbiamo mangiato , e neanche al posto , con questi soldi si mangia in un ristorante stellato a Milano , non in un posto di passaggio di persone che fanno trekking . Il vino minimo costa 25 euro e la
Bottiglia è con tappo a vite in alluminio .
La bistecca non proprio buona anche se presentata bene , doveva pesare 1,2 kg ma nel conto quasi 1,5kg .
Il giorno dopo leggendo il conto mi rendo conto che ho pagato un piatto di pasta da 14 euro che non ho ricevuto . .. buona la pasta e buoni anche i dolci
Leggendo le recensioni passate ho notato che già ad unaltro cliente era stato sbagliato il conto . Peccato per la
Location ma se non cambia qualcosa meglio portarsi i panini.
