We are two pilgrims from Piedmont who were fortunate enough to enjoy the dishes at this restaurant. We ordered ribollita and cod, along with a sampling of the house desserts. This was, without a doubt, the restaurant that served us the best food since we set out from Florence.

We went to this restaurant for the first time, recommended by friends, what can I say, the food is good, the artichoke is delicious, the wine is the same... Only one flaw, the atmosphere would be nice and typical of the countryside but alas, cleanliness, this unknown!

I share the other sentiments about not being able to give a sixth star! The welcome was incredibly warm, the cuisine typical and refined, and the wines delicious—the owner knows them very well! Little touches throughout the meal were truly heartwarming! We had an amazing time celebrating my father's birthday. Next time I'm in Italy, I'll definitely go back. I even think I might return to Italy just for the pleasure of an evening there! Grazie mille Edoardo 🥰🥰🥰

One of the things I appreciate most about my job is that by traveling so much, I can appreciate the cuisine of places I would never have visited otherwise.
This was the case at Trattoria da Marino, our lunch stop on our trip to Sanremo. First of all, it's not a trattoria but a refined restaurant where the owner welcomed us kindly and explained all the dishes we chose. What I appreciated most was the love and passion in his descriptions.
We started with an appetizer of focaccia, top-quality olive oil produced just a few hundred meters from the restaurant, and an excellent pappa al pomodoro with double-cooked eggs.
For my first course, I chose freshly prepared ricotta gnudi, and I also tried duck crostini and veal tongue "dolce e forte." We concluded the lunch with some excellent homemade desserts.
Excellent value, very friendly staff, and a very clean restaurant.
Thank you for the wonderful gastronomic experience.

I haven't been to this restaurant since 2005, but I'm pleased to note that the quality of the meat and wine has remained unchanged, consistently maintaining excellent levels. The meat is always excellent and tender. The service is always friendly, almost family-like. The only thing I'd comment on is the crostini, which are made with fresh bread (and therefore aren't crostini).

It's a unique experience. The fried artichoke is a must-try! Owner Edoardo speaks about wine and the region like few others. The atmosphere is as sincere and authentic as the menu.

We had lunch at this trattoria before heading to Montecatini Terme. The atmosphere was refined, and the Florentine steak and fried artichoke were truly excellent, as were the desserts. The service was prompt and courteous. Highly recommended.
