The service was friendly and fast, and the meat was excellent, as were the vegetable side dishes. I was a little disappointed with the appetizer (Aunt Carla's), but I'd definitely go back.

We had dinner at this restaurant with friends. It wasn't their first time there, as they'd been there a few years ago; it was mine. I have to say, I wasn't particularly surprised... in fact, I expected something more... well, nothing special! Not so much for the menu, which is typical of a trattoria... but for the way the dishes are prepared, which in my opinion aren't entirely exceptional. Even my friends who had been there before found something different than before. The location is very nice; you can tell it's historic. I don't think I'll go back... but if you're curious and want to go, give it a try!

Super friendly service and sensational food at very good prices! Food just like Mamma used to make, high-quality ingredients without any fuss. We didn't particularly like Prato itself compared to other Tuscan cities, but we would definitely come back for this trattoria!

Soldano Restaurant is a true institution in Prato, a go-to for those seeking authentic Tuscan cuisine, the "old-fashioned" kind, without too many frills but with plenty of substance. Friendly and professional staff. Good value for money.

08/06/2026: A nice restaurant on the square of the Cathedral of Prato. It is wonderful especially in the evening. You enjoy good wine and traditional Tuscan cuisine. Excellently prepared dishes, served kindly by young and energetic people. Prices are moderate. They welcome you warmly and with a smile and respond to your every wish. It is difficult to find seats, it is good to make a reservation. I recommend
21/05/2026: Dishes that straddle tradition and a touch of innovation, but above all tradition. (Almost) a business lunch with former colleagues, excellent value for money. Perhaps not the place for a romantic or Michelin-starred dinner, but it's the kind I prefer: focused on the food, good, and in non-homeopathic quantities. My choice was the truffle pici, excellent. The ice cream and red fruit tegolina was also excellent.

15/06/2026: A very relaxed summer atmosphere, dining in the tranquility of the square. The two of us shared a selection of exquisite hams, a 1kg steak, two vegetable side dishes, a mixed fruit dish, and complimentary liqueurs. The food was impeccable, and the service was extremely friendly and never intrusive. Thanks for the lovely evening, folks.
11/06/2026: It was truly a delicious and wonderful experience... As a Palermitan who's used to all kinds of food, I had a truly wonderful time. I was there on the evening of June 4th with local friends and I really enjoyed the toasted bread with chicken livers and the house-made fried food.
