Located in a somewhat secluded and therefore very quiet area, Bettola completely belies what you might expect from its name. The place is tastefully furnished, the owner is a truly friendly person, the staff is knowledgeable and fast, and every single dish is truly exquisite.

The prisoner's soup is very delicate, but with very little offal, and the linguine with finocchiona is delicious. The beans al fiasco are exceptional. Friendly staff and excellent price.

We've just found this little treasure a few meters from Pistoia city's center. Delicious and typical Tuscany cuisine, you'll love the attention of the staff. Don't miss the "carcerato" and funghi based plates. Highly recommended!!!

I went this summer, choosing it at random while visiting Pistoia. Wonderful! I rediscovered the flavors of my grandmother's (Pistoia-born) cooking in this small, beautiful restaurant. A thrill! Thank you and congratulations.

10/05/2026: Elegant, spacious, clean place, with tables spaced apart. Professional owner and service (I went for Sunday lunch). Excellent quality food (from appetizers, to starters, main courses, and dessert). Historic restaurant, yet in tune with the times. Always a sure sign of returning ✔️

27/04/2026: We had a wonderful lunch here. A very good and attractive menu. Something different for a change from the other restaurants on the square. Carefully selected meals. Highly recommended. Take the time to eat here. (If you are in a hurry, go to McDonald's.) And enjoy the atmosphere, both outside and inside. The lunch was fantastic. Prepared with love. If we ever return to the village, we will definitely eat here.
