30/03/2025: Kindness and excellent food. Recommended!

20/03/2025: My experience eating at this restaurant was terrible and the worst. I don't recommend it. I went to dinner with a friend, and when we arrived, they looked at us with contempt, but we continued and didn't pay attention. We spoke to the waitress (a woman with short hair), who looked at us, turned her back on us, and left. The other waiter (a tall, very robust man) approached our table without taking our order, asking directly and bluntly, "Where are we from?" He kept giving us dirty looks and rushing us to eat; we weren't the only ones. And when she served my wine, the waitress, who for some reason didn't like me, put her whole arm in my face to serve me the wine. I'm honestly speechless, and I've never been so mistreated and discriminated against.

06/04/2025: My group ate here twice in our 3 night stay. The staff was so accommodating and sweet. Highly recommend this establishment :) the first night we all ordered the seafood set menu (a LOT of food for the price). Second night we had sliced steak and antipasto and tiramisu. Loved it here :)

17/04/2025: A great restaurant to try Florentine steak at a very good price-performance ratio. We asked the waiter for advice, and he was very helpful; he certainly wasn't wrong. A great choice!

01/04/2025: Very nice food with impeccable service and beautiful atmosphere!!! The dishes were perfect as well as the aperol and negroni we drank. I would say the prices are very normal for what we got. We were lucky to find a seat because when we left there was an endless waiting line.

09/03/2025: Certaldo Alta is a wonderful village worth visiting. If you then go for dinner and find this gem of a place, the evening becomes perfect. Reservations are highly recommended, the tables are few and very close to each other, a large refrigerated counter in front, like a shop from the past, you can breathe an air of ancient flavours. The typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine, prepared with care and to be enjoyed at every bite, a great variety of wines, very honest prices. A real gem from this Certaldo.

27/03/2025: I have been here for Italian no-menu cuisine 4 times, and the menu is different every time and there are surprises every time. There are 6 plates of appetizers alone 2 main dishes 2 plates of second course 2 plates of desserts are so delicious All the ingredients created by the Italian boss are super delicious. I have been here 4 times and each time is different. There are surprises every time.

16/03/2025: Esperienza "wow"!! La particolarità del locale è non avere un menù alla carta (eccetto quella dei vini che è vasta e soprattutto con prezzi modici) ma provare di volta in volta le specialità della casa. Questo elemento crea un senso di curiosità culinaria che non delude mai, anzi rende ogni portata un’attesa emozionante. Ti ritrovi impaziente di scoprire il prossimo piatto, ascoltarne la descrizione e assaporarlo, proprio come farebbe un bambino davanti ad una sorpresa! Altro elemento particolare del locale è mangiare in un unico grande tavolo con altri commensali sconosciuti. Tale espediente, anziché essere un limite, diventa un'opportunità per conoscere nuove persone e condividere l’esperienza culinaria in modo ancora più coinvolgente. In conclusione il ristorante merita assolutamente e ci ritornerò sicuramente

06/04/2025: Bei der Bar dell´Orso handelt es sich, wie der Name schon sagt, nicht um ein Restaurant sondern um eine (Dorf) Kneipe die regionale Speisen anbietet. Wir haben Pasta bestellt die mit vielen verschiedenen Saucen angeboten werden. Hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Preise sind angemessen. Eine wirkliche Empfehlung.

03/04/2025: Fantastic first courses, pici, tagliatelle with various condiments. I prefer pici a l'aglione or tagliatelle al cinghiale. Also very good with carbonara and black cabbage.

04/04/2025: Sono anni che frequentiamo questolocale e la qualità è sempre molto alta. Servizio veloce e amichevole. Cibo buono e la carne alla brace è speciale.

22/03/2025: È un vero dispiacere scrivere questa recensione, ma in sintesi: all'ingresso siamo ignorati, troviamo il tavolo prenotato da soli. Servizio solerte, meno di tre minuti arrivano i due antipasti (nella norma) e le penne 'della casa".....di pasta precotta e poi condita, praticamente sfatta. Poi il "nulla' per una ora e quindici minuti, per poi ricevere il "famoso" arrosto misto: prodotto modesto, servito freddo ed asciutto. Non ci azzardiamo a chiedere il dolce. Costo contenuto, ma qualità inferiore al poco pagato.

14/10/2024: Abbiamo organizzato un pranzo in famiglia in questa location stupenda,un vero paradiso circondato dalle splendide colline toscane,personale gentile e molto attento a soddisfare i bisogni del cliente,cibo superbo , piatti freschi e preparati con enorme cura nei minimi dettagli,consiglio vivamente di assaggiare la loro cucina per una fantastica esperienza per il palato,ma anche per rilassare la mente e gli occhi godendo di una vista spettacolare

16/03/2025: Excellent little place. Highly recommend the food, particularly the liver pate. The "carbonara" isn't that spicy unless you eat the chilli's. It's also not really a carbonara, but more pasta with pepronata (breadcrumbs) with a sort of egg yolk on top that you cut (torn between saying it was either frozen or cured before frying..) Tiramisu and creme brulee were also very nice and traditionally done.

23/03/2025: Siamo stati in 12 con 6 bambini piccoli. Cucina buona, abbiamo preso menù fisso con crostini toscani e salumi vari, ravioli e cannelloni, carne arrosto e patate. Tutto molto buono (ravioli spaziali, si sciolgono in bocca) Il locale si presenta bene, buona riserva di vini da diversi produttori locali e non. Servizio abbastanza rapido, in qualche occasione anche troppo nel portare via i piatti quasi finiti ma accettabile dato il numero di coperti totali e l’affluenza di clientela che frequenta il locale (prenotazione obbligatoria, il locale è quasi sempre al completo) ci torneremo molto volentieri e lo consigliamo. Complimenti alla cucina! Qualità/prezzo ottima.

15/02/2025: Ristorante molto bello e famigliare , ti fa sentire subito a casa , con l’odore della carne che si sente da fuori, come quando arrivavi da nonna da piccolo e si sentiva il profumo di casa, i tortelli sono stati uno spettacolo , e la carne davvero al top! Un esperienza da fare assolutamente! Lo consiglio vivamente l!
