07/08/2025: amazing find! stumbled across this restaurant and it looked closed, but the owner welcomed us in and looked after us so well. .... really funny, charming and helpful. The food was AMAZING .. I'm just sad we found this on our last day in Rome as it was the best pizza and pasta I have ever had, ever!

02/10/2025: Our main dishes of the evening were rigatoni alla Matriciana (that’s how it was spelled), gnocchi alla coda vaccinara and tonnarelli a la gricia. These were delicious with noted qualifications that the guanciale pieces with the tonnarelli were judged too large (!), the gnocchi were assessed under-salted while the coda vaccinara sauce seemed a little thin, and my serving of rigatoni was enormous (no complaint there). 05/10/2025: They got the various steaks cooked wrong, I think they got confused which is why they gave them a 4* rating. Everything was good from the starters to the first courses and the price was normal if you order prime meat.

04/10/2025: Must try! (I tried it more than once to give a more objective review). The meat is always top-notch, the Roman first courses are excellent, but the fettuccine isn't as good. Tip: skip the appetizers, focus on the Roman first courses and especially the meat!

05/10/2025: We went on a Saturday night; we hadn't been to this restaurant in years. The food quality was still excellent, definitely above average. Having been there several times years ago, I remembered it being a bit more elegant, but now it's become a place for birthday parties with tables of 15-20 people. This creates a lot of chaos and confusion, and the atmosphere is like a village festival. There were two of us, and I had imagined it as a romantic dinner; it's definitely not the right place, but we had a great time nonetheless. The staff is very kind and attentive. I recommend it for a different, very informal evening to share with friends. The price is justified both by the quality of the food and the variety of choices.

04/11/2025: The dinner turned out really great — I went to a restaurant thanks to the bonus money I got from the website (you can see its name in the photo I’ll attach). Decided to treat myself — and it was totally worth it! The seafood pasta was amazing: fresh prawns, a light tomato sweetness, everything just perfect.

27/10/2025: Interesting daily à la carte menu, with varied choices and ample space for fish, high quality of individual dishes, efficient, courteous, and never intrusive service, and fair prices. Well done, I'll definitely be back.

04/11/2025: One dinner was enough to make it my favorite osteria in Rome...the informal and authentic atmosphere of the osterias of old, the typical dishes of Roman cuisine. One of the best carbonaras I've ever eaten...may the Lord preserve places like this for a long time to come.

03/11/2025: Right by the station and they had plenty of seating when I went mid day. English friendly as well as gluten free friendly. Their pizzas and pastas are gluten free optional.

22/10/2025: We were able to eat on the terrace on October 22nd, the service was quick and pleasant. The prices were reasonable even though everything is too expensive in Rome, the dishes were good (but not in large quantities), the tiramisu was incredible, and I still recommend this restaurant!

07/10/2025: I discovered this trattoria thanks to a local friend, and I have to say it was a wonderful surprise! Hostaria dai Ghiottoni is a true Roman trattoria: a simple and authentic atmosphere, generous portions, and truly excellent dishes, prepared with quality ingredients. The desserts are also absolutely worth it, highly recommended! Well done guys, keep up the good work—I'll definitely be back! 🍝🍷
