At Ostetia Furlani, you can sense the passion and love for cooking that I define as "De core e de panza"!!! Generous portions and more than fair prices. The house wine, both white and red, is excellent; I recommend the red, also because it pairs better with the flavors they offer. The staff is friendly and attentive. Tamara's presence in the dining room ensures consistently attentive and thoughtful service, a true favorite for me and for many regular and returning customers. The restaurant is small but well-managed; I recommend booking at least a week in advance to secure a spot. I've been coming here for years, it's a guarantee, and I highly recommend it.

08/03/2026: We stayed for two nights at the hotel next to the restaurant and dined there twice in a row. We tried the tagliata, excellent rigatoni carbonara, and a platter of cured meats and cheeses. For dessert, a delicious chocolate cake and truffle, which actually comes in the form of gelato (which isn't specified; we were expecting the classic truffle). Overall, good service and a lovely atmosphere.

02/03/2026: Spurred by the excellent reviews, I decided to try this place. I called them at 2:00 PM to book a table, but communication was complicated from the start. They initially asked me the date and time, but immediately after explaining my requests, I was abruptly told I'd have to call back later, around 3:00 PM, because they couldn't take reservations. I thanked them, said goodbye, unlike the restaurant employee, and didn't call back because it was definitely not worth the risk. Goodbye.

16/03/2026: For us, this was our third visit to Fabrizio, and it once again exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely kind and professional, and the atmosphere was refined and not at all touristy like many other places in the area. In my opinion, it was the best carbonara I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

18/03/2026: I was in Rome for the second time and decided to bring my friends here because I absolutely loved it the first time. We came here for breakfast that time and loved it so much that we came back for dinner. Everything was delicious, and the service was simply amazing. We were literally surrounded by attention; it felt like we were being hosted. Unfortunately, the second time was completely different. I brought friends and talked a lot about this place and the high level of service. But the service was rather cold, without the warmth we felt the last time. About the food: I ordered the beef stomachs and eggplant baked with cheese—it was delicious, I can recommend it. One of my friends ordered pasta—it was also very good. But the pork with potatoes was very disappointing: two small pieces of meat and a few potatoes around the edges of the plate. It looked very poor and unappetizing. It was also strange that last time they served us Parmesan with our pasta, but this time they didn't. Meanwhile, the next table (apparently local guests) was served Parmesan with their pasta and even their pizza. It seemed a bit dismissive towards us. One more detail: last time, after both breakfast and dinner, they brought us limoncello before leaving. This time they offered us neither Parmesan nor limoncello—nothing. When the host came over and asked if everything was delicious, I pointed to the pork dish and said it wasn't very good. He offered to take it away, but we decided not to, so as not to create an awkward situation. I felt especially awkward in front of my friends because I had praised this place so highly, saying it was one of the best places in Rome—both for food and service. But their honest review: they wouldn't come back. Unfortunately, it's only been about five months since my last visit, and my impressions have completely changed. I'm very sorry to say this, but I don't plan to return either.

18/03/2026: Terrible You order a Margherita and they bring you a red pizza with parmesan. I don't want to talk about the mixed fried food, frozen products and full of oil. Never again.

22/02/2026: Went here saturday 12.30 end feb thinking we would be the first ones at opening time- but nope- the place was already 1/3 full:) Fantastic lamb (in their open oven so take in account the prep time of say 30 min or more) and pasta. Great to be the only(?) tourists in the village of pigneto :) Def get the cooked veg side dish it is really nutritious and easy to eat.
