Sunday lunch, the place was packed, tables were very cramped. Service was quick, however, and the menu was extensive (perhaps too extensive?). The dishes I tried were all well-executed, but unfortunately, the flavors were quite bland, lacking any real excitement. The wine list was good.

A must-try in Monteverde! I've been coming here for years, and it always lives up to expectations. Excellent food, from appetizers to desserts, everything is always excellent. It feels like family, from the owners to the staff, everyone is always top-notch!

Rigatoni alla amatriciana with a sauce that's rarely this good. There were several broken rigatoni, perhaps a batch of badly handled pasta. With a little more care, it could get 5 stars! 👍👍👍 Definitely a must-try!!

26/04/2026: We found this restaurant by accident while walking around, and we’re really glad we did. A gentleman outside warmly invited us in and was incredibly friendly, which made a great first impression. The food was average, but the service truly stood out – very kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Overall, it’s a nice place mainly because of the wonderful service.
14/03/2026: Consistently great experiences at Da Secondo. The food is always good, prices extremely reasonable and the service is fantastic, with a special mention to Matteo who looked after us for our post 6 Nations celebration. Highly recommend

15/03/2026: We stayed here with our family during the Christmas period of 2025 and were very satisfied. Everything was very clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the breakfast was simply perfect. The staff was kind and professional, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We will gladly return whenever we have the opportunity. We wholeheartedly recommend it and hope they continue to do so. We stayed here with our family during the Christmas period of 2025 and were very satisfied. Everything was very clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the breakfast was simply perfect. The staff was kind and professional, and we felt very comfortable during our entire stay. We will gladly return whenever we have the opportunity. We highly recommend this place and hope they keep it that way.
