21/04/2025: The food was nice, as well as the service. It's cheap, there are mainly pastas and average food and beverages, so it's worth giving it a chance. If you're going - better make a reservation a day or two in advance, because it's getting full very fast.

25/05/2025: We were part of the first reservations for dinner. They were out of clams, out of lasagna, out of rabbit. we actually ordered vongole and lasagna and they didn’t even tell us they were out until we asked where our dishes were. Lastly, we overheard a staff member talking about one of our table members to another table! We’ve been to La campana 5+ times over the years, this was by far the worst. Hope to come back and treated properly.

23/05/2025: Very wel known restaurant with good reviews and kind personel. So we made reservation with high expectations .We were however a bit disappointed regarding the dishes. Quite plain and simple. Like the swordfish carpacchio was most dissapointing ; just slices lightly smoked fish with oliveoil. (See picture) The price quality ratio is regarding our experimenten too high. The interior is also plain, like a bit cold canteen style and simple, no cosy 'old style' atmosphere. Overall we were dissapointed.

06/06/2025: We stopped by for lunch and the food is excellent. We ordered gnocchi with sausage and ribs, fettuccine with oxtail, carbonara. Everything tasted wonderful

04/06/2025: A truly beautiful evening thanks to the enchanting place, the goodness of the food and above all the friendliness and courtesy of the restaurateurs, which is anything but a given in these places!! We ate there on June 2nd, on the advice of a friend...my partner was initially a bit reticent given his Roman origins and the place being so touristy. Instead, never was advice more appropriate...even the biscuits with coffee, almost as if they had read my mind. Thanks guys, I hope to come back soon to visit you!!🤗

04/05/2025: Very good service and great food for a very affordable price. The best lasagna we have ever eaten. Good place to eat after visiting the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. We will return.

04/05/2025: Interesting in taste. I really can't say if I thought it was good or bad. The lamb had more bones than meat on the plate. There are large portions for little money. The atmosphere is very rustic and quaint, I found it pleasant.

06/06/2025: We had an awesome last dinner in Rome at this spot. They have all the specialties you can think of and they're well executed. You do need to book in advance though. Maria was our waitress and she was extremely nice and energetic, simply the best. We will definitely come back when we're back in Rome, thank you guys for a memorable dinner

04/06/2025: Very well-known and very popular tavern in the Prenestino Labicano neighborhood where you can eat, at very affordable prices, tasty first courses, second courses with side dishes and desserts. I have had the opportunity to have lunch and dinner in this tavern several times on informal occasions and to celebrate birthdays. The staff is always kind and helpful. Recommended

31/05/2025: A true gem of Roman cuisine! We went to Al Fagianetto and were thrilled. A welcoming place, a family atmosphere and a menu full of typical Roman dishes, prepared with the freshest ingredients. A very important note of merit: they have excellent gluten-free options, well marked and cooked with great attention, ideal for those who are celiac or intolerant. I tried the gluten-free carbonara and it had nothing to envy of the classic version! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. You can breathe the true Roman spirit, both in the dishes and in the environment. Highly recommended for those looking for authentic and safe Roman cuisine even for those who are gluten-free. We will definitely be back!

29/05/2025: Found this place by chance on the web. We had dinner here a few weeks ago and were very satisfied. Great food, excellent quality, larger portions than usual. Price appropriate for what we ate. Limited parking, few places compared to the capacity of the place (but maybe I'm wrong and I didn't realize if you could park elsewhere, ask for info when you book). Absolutely recommended.

29/05/2025: If you happen to be in Valmontone around lunchtime, don't miss out on stopping at Trattoria Elena. I've been there a couple of times, with a local colleague, who brought me here specifically to try the traditional dishes. The place is simple, a classic trattoria on the hill, but if you find the right day, having lunch outside under the portico is one of those things that is priceless. If you decide to come here, I can tell you that both times I focused on the first courses, and I was very satisfied. The carbonara is one of the best dishes they cook. The simplicity of the place, with the friendliness of the staff, make you feel welcomed like at home. Highly recommended!

12/05/2025: The price has risen to 35 euros. When Koreans visit, they are very happy to show us photos they took with guide Seongil Lim. The appetizers and pasta were delicious. The meat feels tough for Koreans to eat. The cleanliness of the dishes is disappointing.

11/05/2025: Disappointing lunch in every respect: poorly cooked dishes, side dishes combined without criteria and a decidedly excessive price for the quality offered. Incredible, considering the excellent central location of the place. The pasta was served to us in a transparent plastic container, clearly a salad bowl, completely inadequate. Whoever served us at the table didn't seem to know very well what an Italian likes at the table. I wouldn't recommend it.
