07/12/2025: Two of us, starving, took refuge after 9:30 PM in this simple but never boring trattoria. Greeted by the owner's friendliness and unpretentious simplicity, we ordered two first courses, and what can I say... portions were almost too generous, no, it's never too much, but they justified the price, which wasn't high but was definitely below average for Rome's tourist-catching restaurants.
Even the two-euro cover charge was covered by the bread and pizza! Wow, that pizza was delicious, so you can mop it up with it! Fast service, what do you think?

08/12/2025: I had lunch at this splendid restaurant on the occasion of the Immaculate Conception, and the experience was impeccable. We were served by Andrea, an extraordinary person: professional, attentive, and capable of making us feel immediately at home. The service was impeccable, and the food was simply excellent.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality lunch and a welcoming atmosphere.

08/12/2025: We were on a photography trip. We booked for 8 people, but since we were running late, we called to ask if we could move the reservation. There were no problems; they welcomed us warmly and kindly. We had a bit of everything: mixed appetizers for everyone, 8 first courses, 7 desserts, 6 coffees, house red wine, a glass of white wine, and water. We spent €35 each, a little expensive, but everything was delicious, especially the artichokes, which were heavenly. I would gladly return, both for the food and the hospitality. A wonderful experience.

04/11/2025: Delicious carbonara and cacio e pepe. We also enjoyed the saltimbocca. Might be the best carbonara I've ever had.
02/11/2025: Awful! They take forever to serve customers and bring simple dishes, even though the place wasn't crowded. Probably the worst matriciana we've ever had, made with a lot of recklessness. The dish should be simple, not crude. Definitely not worth the price or the time.

Excellent service from the staff.
04/12/2025: Family style long established Roman restaurant with authentic Roman dishes. Pasta portions - available in 3 portion sizes - are huge, even the smallest option. Not a quick meal but most enjoyable and reasonably priced.

09/12/2025: Excellent, historic Roman trattoria. The super-smart and friendly waitress with her super-short haircut is family-run, two generations old, starting with grandmother. The wood-fired pizza is also excellent, and the price/quality ratio is excellent.
03/12/2025: I had a wonderful meal; the Roman-style and Jewish-style artichokes were excellent. The first courses were plentiful and made with quality ingredients. Family-run, all three brothers are incredibly friendly and attentive to their customers, always ready to accommodate every need. It's a good thing places like this still exist, and not the usual tourist traps. Highly recommended.

17/11/2025: We happened upon it by chance on a Saturday evening because we were in the area. The owner, with a bit of banter, found us a table for two even without a reservation.
The place is a typical family-run osteria from days gone by. The food is excellent and the portions are generous.
We had a mouth-watering carbonara and a gricia, which we couldn't finish due to physical limitations. The manager was worried something was wrong, which was definitely not the case.
As I told Mr. Pippo, when we're back in Rome, we'll be back to try other typical dishes. Don't be offended if we order a half portion next time. ^_^

Top service. Worth it whether you're alone or with family...you'll feel right at home. On Saturdays, it's not easy to find room for 16 people and have a good time. At Luigino's, you can.

04/12/2025: A warm welcome in a modern atmosphere just minutes from St. Peter's, and gourmet food from the owner, a passionate chef, including classic Roman dishes like carbonara. A great spot for aperitifs or happy hour!
02/12/2025: We’re Asians and don’t speak Italian. The staff and chef at this local restaurant were very kind and friendly. The food was excellent, especially the Fettucine Boscaiola (truffle sauce with mushrooms) which was so so good. The chef also offered us complimentary truffles (I think) for dessert. The price was very reasonable, just 27 eur for two pastas and water. It was a very nice experience and def worth the walk from the Vatican.

My husband and I had a reservation for dinner (which you need or you most likely won't get a table). The atmosphere felt like we were in someone's home for a family meal. Our waiter, and all the the waiters were professional and friendly. The food was incredible. For starter, we had the baked artichoke in olive oil and it was delicious.
Then we had pasta which was cooked Al dente, as it is supposed to be cooked. My husband had pasta with tomato sauce with basil and I had the cacio e pepe. Both were fresh and tasted fantastic. The price was reasonable for a nicer restaurant. Thank you to everyone at Tullios for making our dining experience a 5-star one
