18/08/2024: Perfetto per chiudere una giornata in visita a Tivoli. Abbiamo preso Amatriciana, cacio e pepe e abbacchio con cicoria. Tutto molto gustoso e casalingo. Buon servizio cordiale e veloce. Vino della casa mediocre. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

11/08/2024: Era uno dei ristoranti che più frequentatvo, ma una domenica mi è stato portato un primo al ragù per una ragazza vegana . Certo, si può sbagliare e allora gli ho chiesto cortesemente di rimandarmi un primo con un sugo semplice. Risultato? Hanno tolto (e non del tutto) il ragù dalla pasta e ce l'hanno riportata, facendo finta fosse un altro piatto. Il problema è che nel piatto c'era ancora del ragù. Sono passati alcuni anni, per me questo ristorante ha chiuso. Alla fine voleva scusarsi facendomi un piccolo sconto. Veramente deluso.

03/08/2024: We used this restaurant for our last dinner on our trip to Italy. Is that what the clerk said? There were times when I felt that way, but basically they were all good people. My husband and I shared the famous carbonara and the eggplant parmigiana (not pasta) recommended by the staff, and we were full. It was very delicious. It was a great way to end our trip to Italy.

03/08/2024: This was our first dinner in Italy and it was absolutely delicious. We started off with a bottle of Prosecco, natural water, and the Caprese. Some bread and oil were also provided. And (if I remember correctly) there was no service charge. The wine was fabulous. The Caprese was a little underwhelming, but likely due to selection of tomatoes available. With the olive oil and balsamic vinegar provided on the table we were able to increase the flavor to our liking. Next, we shared the Cabornara (pasta with eggs, pork cheek, and black pepper). It was so good. The pork cheek crunch in the smooth but robust pasta was yummy dance in our mouth. We ended up ordering a second bottle of prosecco, because... why not. Then our main course came out (again we shared). We had the Scaloppia al limone (veal escalope sautéed with butter and lemon) with a Insalata Mista (mixed salad). It was perfect and the prosecco complemented it well. We did not have reservations, so we had to sit inside. If visiting in the summer, make a reservation. There is no AC inside and the TV playing news (silently) in the background was a weird vibe for the first night of our honeymoon. But overall the tables were nicely set and there were fans to help keep air circulating. This place offered high quality food, and after experiencing other restaurants on our trip was one of the best (especially compared to those closer to the downtown Rome/Florence/Venice tourist areas). The price was great too. Sharing is the way to go for couples in Italy -- experience all the courses at a reasonable price. For all of this we spend around 75-80 euro.

03/08/2024: The most “homemade” trattoria of all the ones we tried. A good sign is that everyone eating was Italian. We ordered the carbonara and we liked it very much. Quite large place with good service.

08/08/2024: The place is very nice, everything looked after, efficient staff with beautiful music in the background immersed in the greenery of the Roman countryside. Excellent fresh fish and good appetizer, amberjack tartare, then grilled octopus tentacle with salad, wonderful fried food with a spicy sauce and chicory for finish an excellent artisanal lemon sorbet and Calafuria rosé wine I recommend it and fair prices for the quality

06/08/2024: Nothing to say about the quality of the food, but for 3 first courses it's a peppered mussel and two sweets 110 euros!! But the real problem is that the first few, very little indeed !!!!!!!!!!

30/08/2024: The host squeezed us in at kitchen closing for a quick rigatoni with oxtail which I recommend. turned out to be a great hang, great food, best service we had in Rome AND The best Negroni.

03/09/2024: Excellent, everything very good, quality, prices, porchetta must have, cured meats made by them. Abundant first courses tasted cacio e pepe and amatriciana, one better than the other. The desserts were delicious, we took the creme brulee 🥰🥰

26/08/2024: Typical Roman fraschetta in Ariccia. High quality local products expertly prepared. The first courses are very good, the cured meats are excellent, especially the small ones. Prices are more than honest (in my opinion only the cutting board is too expensive, 11 euros seems really excessive considering the quantity offered). The owner is very kind. I thought I would receive at least the free coffee I found on my bill, or that the house would at least offer me a bitter... in a fraschetta it should almost be a "duty"... but it doesn't matter, I would still gladly go back

19/08/2024: We actually wanted to eat there because it was recommended to us by a local. When we got there it was closed. We got some delicious ice cream right next door. When I briefly put my ice cream sundae on the table in front of the restaurant to check on my cell phone to see when the restaurant opens (there were no opening times listed on the door), a more than unfriendly employee from the restaurant came out of the door and greeted us literally chased away and insulted because the ice cream sundae was on the table. We didn't even have the chance to explain that the cup had been put down for a moment to check the opening hours on our cell phone. Too bad! We would have liked to try out the restaurant, but this encounter was enough for us.

18/08/2024: We received a cold welcome at the restaurant and cold the atmosphere has stayed all along the service. The menu list was short (no sea food, nothing with vegetables). If you want to drink quality water, it won't be there. They only offer processed filtered water. Quite disappointing frankly!

25/07/2024: Sono andata in questo ristorante per un pranzo veloce e, sebbene non sia uno dei ristoranti migliori di Roma, è una valida alternativa ai ristoranti affollati del centro. Ci è stato offerto innanzitutto un tris di antipasti composto da riso freddo con gamberi, melone e rucola, fagioli con cipolla e sedano e bruschette con pomodorini: tutti e tre molto buoni, soprattutto il riso. Come primo ho preso i tonnarelli alla gricia, non male ma sicuramente migliorabili: erano poco cremosi e i tonnarelli erano più sottili del solito (porzione abbondante) Il servizio è stato veloce e cordiale. Il conto è stato giusto e bilanciato.

21/07/2024: Otroligt god pasta! Carbonara var bäst men även pesto, bolognese, Alfredo och arrabiata var fantastiskt gott. Husets röda vin var bra och rimliga priser för pasta I toppklass.

20/07/2024: We tried this place for lunch, since it was close to the hotel we stayed at. I didn't like the environment outside, too messed up with objects, too many plants and a really annoying presence of flies. The service was a little too careless, I found a spun glass, with the risk of cutting myself. The also careless staff knocked a plate on me during service, and I don't find it acceptable. The food, if I had taken into account only the carbonara, would have had a good rating, not excellent but good. But subsequently we also ordered a mix of meat, which was poor to say the least for the price they charge for it. The meat was badly cooked and we didn't like it. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat in a top-notch Roman trattoria. It seems like a place set up with luck...

13/07/2024: A truly beautiful, characteristic, comfortable place. Small private parking. Unfortunately I haven't tried the meat, but I've seen some interesting ones...even matured for up to 60 days. The pizza was decent and the starter was also satisfying. The service was carried out by two very dynamic guys, fast even if perhaps they were a little few due to the number of customers but the wait wasn't excessive!! I will definitely be back to try the meat. However highly recommended!!!

14/08/2024: We had a great meal here. Had a pasta dish that was perfect and had the grilled squid for the main. My partner had the cod. All dishes were of high quality and price was reasonable

21/06/2024: In occasione della seconda partita italiana degli europei sono andata a cena in questo locale con alcuni amici/colleghi. Il locale è molto carino, abbiamo mangiato bene, il personale è stato cordiale e anche il conto era in giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo. Però ho dovuto dare un tre alla recensione poiché, nonostante mi avessero garantito che il locale avesse l'aria condizionata, i gestori hanno deciso di lasciarla spenta perché avendo il servizio ai tavoli anche fuori e quindi lasciavano la porta del locale aperta per facilitare i passaggi. È stata una delle serate più calde finora e siamo stati davvero a disagio. Abbiamo anche provato a chiedere cortesemente di poterla accendere ma per due volte c'è stato negato, anche durante la seconda volta, verso la fine della serata, quando c'erano meno cose da fare. Sinceramente non capisco la scelta del gestore. Sicuramente non tornerò almeno per l'estate! Spero di essere stata utile
