Wow! Amazing Italian cuisine! What a selection! Top-quality ingredients, superb service, and authentic dishes. We loved the zucchini blossom croquettes, the eggplant croquettes, the pasta, the gnocchi, the oxtail, the Langhe wine, and the herb-infused limoncello. In short, a fantastic experience in a neighborhood far from the tourists. Don't hesitate! Go for it!

If you're looking for the true culinary soul of Rome, Cesare al Casaletto is a must-see. The place is welcoming, and the atmosphere is authentic, reminiscent of the finest trattorias. We started with exceptional appetizers: a journey through the flavors of yesteryear. The boiled meatballs are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the picchiapò is flavorful and expertly cooked, and the eggplant meatballs were a real surprise for their delicacy and flavor. For our main course, we tried the oxtail stew: simply delicious, with a sauce that melts in your mouth (impossible not to mop it up with bread!). The desserts are equally top-notch, the perfect end to an excellent dinner. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel right at home. Reading the other reviews, I had very high expectations, and I can confirm that Cesare does not disappoint. Excellent value. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of finding this restaurant in attempt to escape the busy and not so typical Roman restaurants in the historic center. This restaurant offered us one of the best experiences during our stay. Great variety of Roman specialties, excellent and attentive service, nice atmosphere. Also, they were able to accommodate gluten insensitivity.

All the dishes were excellent. The table service was excellent, and the prices were average.

This restaurant is quite far from the city center and off the beaten path, just a few minutes from Villa Doria Pamphili. The food we tried was very good; we really enjoyed the gnocchetti, carbonara, and amatriciana. There was also a fish dish, but it was only from the daily menu, which I believe changes daily. The only shame was the pasta with oxtail sauce, because it was literally just the sauce, with no trace of the oxtail. The service was excellent, and the price was high, but okay for the quality, less so for being far from the city center. I recommend it; it's best to book on weekends.

We stumbled upon it by chance, recommended by the hotel we were staying at. GO!! Roman dishes, local wines, and very good service! What a surprise and what a discovery!

Everything was very good, it's just a shame that if you're not in the inside dining room and end up at a table next to the outside door, alas... At least that should be revisited, but otherwise, excellent cuisine at a fair price.
