21/11/2025: Local restaurant with amazing pasta! We had the fettuccine ai funghi porcini which was delicious and flavorful, and the tonnarelli cacio e pepe, which had thick chewy tonnarelli. Everything was home made and fresh. Highly recommend!

Beyond tradition, the cuisine often offers a touch of innovation and experimentation, without ever compromising on quality and freshness. Like music and art, this osteria warms the heart and relaxes the mind. We often visit the super chef Stefano and his family here, even for post- or pre-meeting lunches, and it always works. 11/12/2025: I rarely leave reviews, but this place is well worth it! As soon as you walk in, the welcoming atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. What I appreciated most was the atmosphere: finally, a place where you can chat in peace without having to shout over the background noise. That's a real plus! As for the food, the quality is unquestionable. The ingredients are excellent, and it shows. The pizza is the real star: light and crispy, Roman-style, just how I like it. The service is excellent. The staff are attentive and fast, managing the dining room with professionalism. And then there's the owner, a truly friendly guy who makes all the difference, adding a personal touch and making you feel like a welcome guest. If you're looking for a relaxed dinner, with exceptional pizza and the perfect atmosphere for socializing, this is the place. Highly recommended!

10/12/2025: An excellent experience for those seeking the typical atmosphere of a Roman inn. Rustic decor, cheerfulness, authenticity, and above all, a traditional Roman menu prepared expertly at fair prices. It's not run like a tourist restaurant... Well done, I'll definitely be back.

10/12/2025: Excellent cacio e pepe and very good carbonara in a easy going setting. Also puntarelle were good and the house wine it's fine for the price. Altogether, considering the portions and prices on top of the quality, it's a great place. And especially it's not a tourist trap

09/12/2025: A small restaurant in the Trastevere area. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't great: the supplì sauce was a bit acidic, and the amatriciana tasted far removed from those I've tried at other restaurants. The puntarelle were fresh, but didn't blend well with the vinegar and sardines.

09/12/2025: Papa Re, located in Trastevere, is certainly one of those unique places with authentic Roman food. For a good meal, with a main course and a quarter of a glass of wine served in this charming jug, you will spend around €15. The food is very tasty, the wine is of good quality, and the atmosphere is comfortable. The place has a bathroom and free Wi-Fi for customers.

02/12/2025: We first visited this place 2 years ago. It's a real family business, a really cool little place! The owner welcomed us with the same enthusiasm and passion as the first time. The food is delicious, the kindness is amazing! I can only recommend it!

02/12/2025: I give it two stars because the staff is truly lovely. Otherwise, the carbonara couldn't have been more acidic, dense, and arrived slightly cold... Even the American guy next to us asked me if that was the true taste of carbonara. Definitely NOT. But worse: we asked for pecorino cheese to add and they looked at us in surprise, correcting us with "Parmesan?!" In Rome, I can't taste Parmesan on carbonara.

28/11/2025: The place is modern for traditional Roman cuisine (and I must say, it's delicious). The staff is very friendly and always attentive and helpful.

19/11/2025: The pizza is different from the ones we've had in Italy; they say it's one of the best, but it's nothing special, at least not to my taste. The rest of the food we ordered was pretty average for the price.

11/12/2025: The food was average, good, the wait time was normal, the prices were good, the waiters were excellent, but the gentleman at the cash register was a bit arrogant and rude to customers. He also rounded up the €26.60 bill per person to €27 (illegible) just because payment was electronic. The staff was the only thing that bothered me, even if it was minor.

02/12/2025: Spectacular Roman pizza! Everything was excellent. I went there because it was close to the hotel...but I'll be back. I absolutely recommend it, and not just for the pizza.

15/11/2025: Risotto with scampi cream and fried calamari 🔝🔝🔝, the house specialty. Huge portions!!! Good value for money, especially since you eat so much that if you go for lunch, you might skip dinner.
