14/08/2025: Ten of us went for lunch on May 15th. It was a special occasion for us, and we were surrounded by our family. The staff at Acino made us feel at home. Everyone ordered à la carte, and everyone was satisfied with the dishes, which revisited Roman tradition without overdoing it. We knew the place, and even though we hadn't been coming for a while, they treated us like old customers. We had brought our own gluten-free cake, and they served it with all the attention, as if it were their own product. I'm writing this review a little late, but I recommend this restaurant primarily for the service and the location, one of the most beautiful squares in Garbatella. The quality/price ratio is fair, and you can eat and drink happily.

05/09/2025: The food was good, we ordered the beef. The mix salad was a bit pale, it was only lectuse, ruccola with tomato. The tiramisu was really really good! The waiter was kindly.

06/09/2025: We stumbled upon the restaurant by accident, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip! Fast, friendly, and kind service. The atmosphere was incredible, with live music and a beautifully kept environment. The dishes were plentiful, tasty, and fresh, and the drinks were excellent. I would gladly go back anytime! A true little Italian gem.

24/07/2025: Dear Roman friends took us here for dinner in 2017. One of the top ten meals of my life! I have to assume the service was excellent, because our friend Fabrizio was on top of it with our server, LOL. I speak a fair amount of Italian, but their conversation was too quick and full of Roman dialect for me to follow! We had so many amazing options for primi piatti, we couldn’t order a secondo, we were too full! Everything was fantastic, what an amazing evening!!!

15/09/2025: This is the type of restaurant one hopes to find in Rome that a local told us about. Classic traditional decor with Pontiff theme due to its location related to The Vatican.

12/09/2025: For work, I often traveled to Rome, always stopping at this typical Roman inn run by the Dall'Omo family. Recently, 30 years later, now retired, I returned to Rome for the Jubilee and had a wonderful dinner at this trattoria, serving the classic "Roman-style" menu. The place remains unchanged and as charming as ever. Antonio, the current owner, a descendant of the Dall'Omo family, is extremely kind, playful, and courteous, and always ready to offer any advice or suggestions you may need. Impeccable Roman cuisine. Good wine and fair prices. Thank you, Antonio, and best wishes for the future... even if I leave behind a carbonara like you know how to make... Bye

12/09/2025: This is a quintessential trattoria. Small, casual atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and very good food at a reasonable price. The spaghetti carbonara was excellent!

10/08/2025: Even though it was the last day of opening before the summer holidays, which limited the options, we were served excellent food with friendly and punctual service. Highly recommended.

07/08/2025: We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant by chance and are so glad we did! The food was absolutely outstanding, a true taste of authentic Italian cuisine! We were especially impressed by how welcome they made us all feel, despite our limited Italian. A special shoutout to the incredible pasta dishes and their tiramisu - they were the highlights of our family meal! We will certainly be coming back!

27/08/2025: Wonderful boiled meatballs and giant homemade ice cream ravioli with a unique flavor! I only took photos of the desserts because the main courses were on the table for no more than 5 minutes.

21/08/2025: Everything was impeccable. I was the only table that wasn’t Italian that evening. You can taste the authenticity in the food and wine. The owners don’t even speak English though (for better and worse), so it’s hard to reserve a table and communicate with them, but damn, the food was good. The waiters were great. They don’t take notes and forgot half my order, but they were charming, and the wait wasn’t long. Thoughts on low reviews: I also didn’t make a reservation, but I showed up just as they opened, and they allowed me to stay. Within an hour, the whole place was packed and people were lining up. So please ignore all the low reviews that are upset about not getting a table. The staff know exactly what’s going on.

20/08/2025: What a wonderful surprise. When you're visiting Rome, you usually expect a tourist restaurant. But no. Right next to the Basilica of San Giovanni, there's this osteria. The place isn't huge but it's well-designed, and the dishes are exceptional. Home-style cooking, tasty and plentiful. The service is friendly and welcoming. The prices are excellent. A truly wonderful place to eat well in the center of Rome.

23/08/2025: I guess this place doesn’t work anymore, or you should check it first. I had no possibility to call them. But twice it was closed at 7:30pm. May be they were closed on vacation. But no notes were left too.

03/08/2025: Una maravilla. Una atención de 10. Nuestro camarero, Renzo, habla español a la perfección y ha estado atento a cada una de nuestras necesidades. Pasta sin gluten excepcional, muy buena la carne al 34 con queso y puerro. Y brutal el tiramisú. Espectacular. Una velada muy entretenida. Gracias.

28/07/2025: We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who pointed us to the best dishes and the food was superb. We had the trionfo di carciofi as a starter and I had the saltimbocca alla romana as a main. Everything was excellent. We regularly go to this restaurant when we are in Rome and we have never been disappointed.

25/07/2025: A quiet place with friendly staff, especially Carlos, who was incredibly kind and friendly. The food was excellent, although, as a Neapolitan, I wasn't entirely fond of the pizza. I'll definitely be back to try the traditional dishes. See you soon ☺️

18/07/2025: The food was great, I’m allergic to cheese, and seafood, they event make me off the menu pasta ❤️ the server was very helpful, nice explanation of the menu, cheerful and welcoming. And it got big seating place indoor with aircon

10/08/2025: A very rustic, farmhouse-style place. Divided into a restaurant and a pizzeria, I tried the restaurant part and must say the food was excellent, plentiful, and reasonably priced. They offer a wide selection of both dishes and wines. The location is nice and well-kept, and the staff is friendly.

08/08/2025: Fabrizio and his staff welcome and pamper you in a big way, Roman dishes, and not only, abundant and tasty, prices above average but it's worth it, I recommend booking,

29/08/2025: This was my favourite place in Rome. Kind waitstaff, incredible prices for Rome, and delicious. Beautiful. The bruschetta con bufala mozzarella hit the spot (only 5€ for a large portion)!
