27/08/2024: Un locale storico nel centro di Roma che offre una grandissima varietà di pietanze. Primi e secondi di terra, di mare e pizza romana (bassa e scrocchiarella) anche a pranzo!!! É il luogo ideale per pranzi di famiglia in cui non si riesce mai a scegliere un’unica tipologia di cibo. E’ anche molto turistico, ma questo non deve far di certo scappare la clientela locale.

25/08/2024: Looking for an affordable place to have dinner and since it was already late, we found this restaurant that left us completely satisfied. Good quality food and quantities above usual. Remarkable pizzas and lasagna. Fast and pleasant service despite the hour, with expert waiters. Medium-low prices. We chose the terrace for dinner, instead of the indoor dining room, and we were very comfortable despite the heat.

02/09/2024: Excellent quality of food! Also nice atmosphere and service. If I lived in Rome this would be my go to place for a great meal. I highly recommend beef tenderloin if you are into meat, and pasta is also delicious.

01/09/2024: An uncommon wine list, this one is certainly very broad with quality offerings. For food, always better but pay attention to details! All very good. We started with a classic octopus soup and a very tasty fried cod with horseradish mayonnaise (I think). Then tagliolini with lemon sea bream: amazing. Then sliced ​​cod and tuna, perhaps we were already too full to fully appreciate it. Excellent fish but little attention to detail because the rocket on the fish was thrown there without even cutting the stems, too liquid confit tomatoes that covered the flavor of the tuna. Always better place than having reached this point must pay attention to detail!!!

26/07/2024: The place is very pleasant, in Testaccio but in a quiet street. Outdoor tables and the air of an old Roman tavern. My experience with the food, however, was disappointing because the "caught" red snapper with potatoes smelled and tasted of ammonia... Sent back, the staff apologized (not charged) even though they wanted to convince us that it "tasted like the sea". In any case, all the other dishes were really very good, the first courses exceptional and so were the starters and desserts. Honest prices. Service a little slow. Maybe we will give it another chance since it was recommended to us by friends who go often and have always had a good time.

06/08/2024: Excellent restaurant, impeccable service, normal price. The only flaw is that they don't have the receipt lottery required by law. When you ask for the bill, you will receive a pre-bill at the table, to get the receipt you have to go inside where the cashier is.

11/08/2024: We went for Sunday lunch a while ago. Very quiet and clean place, friendly staff with genuine cuisine. Perhaps the prices are in line with the central area or a little higher. However highly recommended

06/08/2024: I ordered Maritozzi and Croissants to go. Unfortunately, after arriving home, it turned out that Moritozzi were without cream - a shame. If you want, order only on site. I trusted it, I didn't check it and I learned my lesson.

27/08/2024: The food is decent, but there is an additional service charge and a tip is required when paying with a credit card. And they gave us limoncello as a service, but they didn't give it to us, perhaps because of racism.

15/08/2024: As a person who is interested in Roman culture and history, this place caught my attention when I saw it on the map and that made me curious. Then I came here with my friend to taste the ancient Roman dishes inspired by Apicius. We ordered patina cotidiana, pullum oxizomum and tiropatina. Their taste were much better than we expected but the most important thing that made us glad is the hospitable attitude of the chef. He also showed me some books about Apicius to examine. That was a great experience for us and I strongly recommend to taste these dishes. Thank you, Mr. Paolo and Mr. Mehmet. I hope to see you again.

31/07/2024: Dopo tanti anni a Roma ho trovato la prima osteria davvero casereccia ma cattivissima. In sequenza: ci è stato proibito cenare fuori in quanto pieni ( cosa poi appurata non vera) siamo stati messi in una sala angusta a sudare. Lunghissssima attesa solo per avere l acqua, in seguito altra lunga attesa per i menù e per ordinare ( antipasto chiesti ma dimenticati infatti ce li hanno richiesti dopo) Gli antipasti costosi ma non terribili ( affettati e formaggi misti) Ma sul secondo hanno dato il peggio, abbiamo preso tra le altre cose due porzioni di petto di vitella ma la mia era esattamente la metà dell altra ( tant’è che abbiamo sentito un cameriere urlare contro alla cucina quando li ha visti ma a noi non ha detto nulla e anzi le abbiamo pagate intere) e come contorno le zucchine peggiori mai assaggiate in vita mia ( le abbiamo assaggiati tutti ed erano immangiabili) di colore nocciola e mezze bruciate. Mai più

09/07/2024: Cena con i colleghi di lavoro , il cameriere gestiste e consiglia tutto il risultato è stato un antipasto pagato oro con pietanze fatte pagare a parte malgrado facessero parte dei piatti stabiliti in partenza , due micro assaggini di primo pagati come due primi interi , costo del servizio applicato al massimo consentito , vino costoso ovviamente sempre proposto dal cameriere senza la possibilità di visionare una lista con i prezzi . Sicuramente è una trattoria storica ma il cliente va sempre trattoto con rispetto e non applicando una becera furbizia .
