08/09/2025: I had high expectations on this one since it was recommended by a local. The dishes we ordered are depicted on the receipt. Everything, other than the grilled chicken and the spaghetti dish, is good; especially the oxtail. I had much better pasta dishes. This cabonara spaghetti is not as good as other reviews described; the spaghetti is a little undercooked. The worst is the grilled chicken. The chicken was overcooked, too dry, and no flavors. The eatery can be filled up quickly during peak meal time; therefore, a reservation through its website is recommended.

05/08/2025: The atmosphere is very beautiful, typically Roman, as is the cuisine, which revisits classic dishes. The staff is helpful and courteous, and the food is excellent, especially the zabaglione dessert, which is spectacular. Highly recommended.

17/08/2025: The wonderful authenticity of a true Roman trattoria! Appetizers and first courses, generous portions, delicious dishes, friendly and courteous service, very clean. The coffee served in a pot is a gesture that takes you back to childhood, a true treat. Highly recommended!

28/08/2025: A good local restaurant, prices slightly higher than average but appropriate for the area, good food. Everything was fine, except for the lack of a The Fork discount, which was promptly remedied at checkout.

24/08/2025: We waited for our meal for 60 minutes, other tables were served, but not ours, I asked the waiters four times about the order and they ignored me. We were told to wait 3 minutes, but we waited 10 minutes, and nothing. Frustrated, I went and asked for the bill. The waiter walked by three times. I left without paying. That was too much for me. I can't comment on the food, as I only had starters, so I can't rate it..

24/08/2025: This was my husband and I'd been to Rome for the first time, and after looking at social media, we had high hopes for this place. We had high expectations. I ate very well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Reservations are recommended, and the service was fast. The prices were very fair—in fact, they were even reasonable for what we ate. We'll definitely be back!

29/07/2025: We were looking for a restaurant offering gluten free options for lunch after the Vatican tour. This place is about a 10 minute walk. It was a hit for our family group of 10. The waiter (who was quite personable) immediately mentioned that the porcini mushrooms were fresh and showed us. The pastas came in regular and gluten free and they were both superb. The fettuccine and mushrooms was tasty. The rest of the group were happy with their pizzas or fish dishes. The dessert menu is ample and tasty. We had a good time.

10/09/2025: Definitely the best restaurant we have visited in Rome - traditional food and wine, wonderful place, staff and great atmosphere. Would surely recommend, as it is not as touristic and rather local, we were satisfied with the visit ❤️ (the pistachio tiramisu was EXCEPTIONAL)

14/09/2025: Perfetto! 👌 From the welcome to the dessert time. Highly recommended make a reservation, after taking our table, the people started joining (all of them with already booked table). The waiter who atended us was absolutely excellent, every unique of each of the details during the dinner was perfect. The pasta was not an exception at this experience. All the suggestions from the staff exceeded our expectations: - Lamb cooked in a sauce and melted with parpadelle. - Tatruffo bianco cream with linguine and fresh truffle on the top crowning the plate. 14/09/2025: We ordered spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti cacio e pepe, and they were very salty. Almost inedible. We let the waiter know, and they didn't care. They also charged me €6 extra for adding a little truffle to the dish, and half a bottle of house wine was €15. We definitely won't be back. There are much better options in Rome for lunch or dinner.

27/08/2025: In Testaccio, a true Roman restaurant. Even in the August heat, it's impossible to resist the pajata, oxtail stew with chocolate, chicory, tripe, and cacio e pepe. A menu rich in tradition and flavor, a welcome discovery. Reservations recommended.

11/07/2025: Una,bellissima sorpresa! Avevo sentito parlare di Cantina Colonna e, finalmente, sono riuscito ad andarci. Ristorante molto curato e menu ricercato, con materie prime di alta qualità. Accoglienza e professionalità in fine fanno da cornice ad una bella esperienza che scalda il cuore ed il palato. Straconsigliato!
