25/07/2024: Always a confirmation, never disappoints!! Traditional Roman dishes (and not touristy ones as they are now found everywhere) are excellent and plentiful. Prices more than fair. Family and friendly environment. Always compliments from northern friends who want to taste the authentic local specialties. Highly recommended🔝🔝🔝

25/07/2024: This place was highly recommended to me by a trusted work colleague of mine who has been frequenting it for some time and willingly goes back every time he has the chance. Precisely for this reason, we couldn't back out and we knew we had to try it. Their "workhorse" dish is certainly the cacio e pepe which is creamed in the form of pecorino in front of the diners and served shortly afterwards. We therefore decided to take one portion and one instead of carbonara and then taste them both. Both really workmanlike and delicious, it's criminal not to clean the plate. Finally we opted for a half amatriciana, leaving the curiosity of the second course for another time. The latter is also excellent with an excellent sweet tomato sauce. For the rest, the environment is the informal and warm one of a Roman tavern that will not leave you indifferent for any reason.

31/08/2024: Osteria con cucina romana verace. I loro primo è di 300 grammi di pasta e se potrebbe risultare esagerato basta specificare la mezza porzione. Primi della tradizione ottimi. Nulla da eccepire. Anche i secondi sono risultati all’altezza. Ambiente alla mano e ospitale. Personale accogliente e gentile. Prezzo economico. Da ripetere.

31/07/2024: Food was ok however they brought bread to our table that was well over baked and super hard. We didn’t ask for it and they charged us for it on top of it all. They looked like they were in a rush for us to leave as the waiter stands there and clears your plate the moment you are done. I had pasta left and put my fork down for a moment and he tried to take my plate away. We waited 30 minutes for our plates and ate quickly, so there was no reason for us to feel rushed to go. I would not recommend going there.

17/07/2024: If I could give it more stars, I would. Authentic Italian and outstanding from start to finish. I'm still dreaming about the steak tartare - best I've ever had. Cacio E Pepe was outstanding. Best dining experience in Rome!!

12/08/2024: Trattoria in zona termini, due locali, tavoli vicini, molti turisti orientali che pasteggiano a rosso di Montalcino. Matriciana appena passabile, personale gentile, conto in linea con una certa Roma.

15/08/2024: Fantastic meal here for our last night in Rome. Stumbled across this restaurant in the daytime, it was busy and so we thought we'd head there for dinner. Can't fault the food or service. Both of our meals were piping hot and delicious, the portions were also great for the price. The seafood was also great,with lots of it too. The service was fantastic. We didn't book however lots of people did so we were fortunate to be accommodated. They also offered gluten free options for an additional charge. This would be a great restaurant for people who are gluten free!

01/09/2024: All was honestly very good. The ambiance was great too as a lot of clients were locals. And most of all, this is for sure the best quality/price ratio we got during our stay. Therefore, we highly recommand it! And we thank Martina's Guest House for making us know that place.

25/08/2024: Very good restaurant, the welcome is very good, the waiters are really very nice, the food is excellent. For our end of stay in Rome, we will return there, obligation to reserve in order to eat there.

06/08/2024: We were so very much looking forward to our dinner here as the restaurant has great reviews and reservations are hard to get. But we were so disappointed! Firstly their aircon was either absent or not functioning, so sitting in the sparsely decorated space was like sitting in a sauna, extremely uncomfortable. Entrees were ok, home style, nothing special. The saltimbocca was tasty but the veal was tough and the carbonara was nothing special . I noted the inconsistencies in the portions of carbonara served to other patrons nearby. Some looked dry whilst mine was flooded with bland sauce. I’ve had much better carbonara in other Rome restaurants. The salad we ordered did not match the description on the menu. I think this place lives on due to its reputation but doesn’t live up to the hype.

05/08/2024: We ate the best meal on our first night in Rome. The food made us want to dive in and live there forever. It's as timeless as the Coloseum. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was calm and lovely.

01/09/2024: Nice, unpretentious restaurant with good Italian cuisine and friendly, unobtrusive service. You sit quietly in a side street on Via Margutta (very close to Flaminia). I can recommend it without hesitation! Only the artichokes were fried a little too long and therefore too dark and fatty - the rest (seafood salad, pasta with fresh porcini mushrooms and pasta with scampi and zucchini flowers) were very tasty.

13/08/2024: We were there with a group of 45 people. We got water and pizza for a cheap price as a no-stop. The water was constantly refilled and various pizzas were cut in the middle. In the end, the leftovers were packed up and given to us. The restaurant is in an industrial style and is an insider tip with its proximity to the Vatican!

11/08/2024: What disgusting food. We came here because of the score, which I don't understand where it comes from, because it is clear that it does not deserve 1 star. The food is terrible!!!! Do not enter this site, we feel scammed.

06/08/2024: I was hesitant at the beginning, but the host was so good that I had to at least drink a glass of wine, or a bottle. I tried the carbonara - amazing, and the tomato bruschetta. The wine selection is great and I had the buffalo mozzarella which again was delicious. Amazing ambience from the street musicians at the piazza and attention to detail from the waiters. They do not push you, and they offer complimentary bread and water.
