I arrived at this restaurant by chance, seeing as the most famous restaurants had queues to sit at the table and having 3 children I opted to find the first available place that had a free table for 5. The place is nice, I think it was created in an old cellar...I tried the carbonara, the cacio e pepe and the gricia...I didn't find much difference between them, but I didn't mind them (even though I speak as an Italian of the north). The service was a little slow and the staff were not exactly well trained (perhaps because they were seasonal given the Easter period). The bill is a little high in my personal opinion, but the period and the Trastevere area must be understood.

Nice restaurant with delicious dishes, good service. There are places on the ground floor and in the basement. We ordered steaks, bruschetta, house wine and pizza. Everything is perfectly prepared and tasty. Comfortable to sit with a group. There are not many waiters, so sometimes the service is a little slow, but everything is within normal limits.

We passed this restaurant on our way to Trattoria da Enzo al 29, however the line went right round the block. Ristorante Sette Oche in Altalena looked like a nice atmosphere and quite popular so we gave it a shot. The waiters were extremely nice but clearly rushed off their feet. We shared the meat & cheese board to start which was excellent, really delicious. The mains (both pasta) were definitely nice but nothing special.

Excellent and friendly service. Dishes ordered according to Roman tradition. Excellent and generous portions.
The price is correct.

Il locale ha uno spazio all'esterno e uno interno. Quello all'interno è di 5 scalini sotto il livello terra. Provato carciofo di antipasto un primo di pasta e saltimbocca. Viene servito un antipastino di benvenuto. Nell'insieme si mangia discretamente bene; il pane servito due volte con tre fette numerate a 6 euro lo trovo fuori luogo.
Non credo di tornarci.

If I could have gone for good rather than very good, I would, but average would be harsh. A pleasant spot with outside tables on a quiet street and umbrellas to shelter the diners. The service was efficient without being overbearing and the food was a good quality, well cooked and presented and not in short supply.
The mozzarella on the starter was a little tough, but again generous in terms of a portion. The lemon linguine was very good. Perfectly cooked and seasoned and with the portion being well judged.
Not overpriced or rushed, this is somewhere I would return to, although there are any number of places within a short distance.

A very nice little place. Had perfect mozzarella up front. Pizza Margharita. Pizza Alpina. And wonderful pasta Norma. Very friendly waiters.
