As a foodie from Romagna, I really appreciated this typical, family-run restaurant, which is very quaint. There were two of us for lunch, and even though we hadn't booked, we were greeted by the friendly staff. We especially appreciated the expertise and helpfulness of the waiter, Cristiano. We had a mixed antipasto for two—what can I say? Tasty and plentiful, followed by two tonnarelli all'amatriciana—impeccable! So much so, given the generous portions, that we were already full. Another positive note: the house wine is delicious. The ingredients are high-quality, and the dishes are served with a smile.
I also found the bill to be absolutely fair.
I highly recommend anyone in Marino to go to Fratone.

EXCELLENT. I'm pregnant and wanted to order pasta carbonara, and when I asked about the egg, the chef came out to explain everything and told me he would make it especially for me. The waiters were fantastic; they brought my husband a glass of their wine to try, and it was delicious. The appetizers we ordered were amazing, the main course was excellent, and the service was even better, without a doubt. A 100% recommended place, truly authentic, and if you're lucky, you can get a seat on the terrace and enjoy an incredible view of the area. If I'm ever back in the area, I won't hesitate to eat at this restaurant again.

I stumbled upon it by chance.
The host is unique in that he describes the dishes with love and gusto.
There's a wide selection.
Everything is very good, fresh, and authentic.
It was a lovely day, and our table was on the beautiful terrace overlooking the green valley.
We had a great time.
The price was more than fair.
I'll be back.

I was here on a Tuesday evening in late March. I discovered the place by chance while looking for a cozy trattoria to have dinner.
The atmosphere is simple but refined. The owner was very kind and engaged in conversation between courses.
I ordered a fried zucchini flower, and they offered me a fried artichoke. The flower was one of the best I've eaten in recent years, and the owner explained to me that their secret is that they fry it in a small pan and that they change the oil every 10 times so it's always clean and light.
Next, I had a gricia. It wasn't overly creamy, but it was very flavorful, and the guanciale was nice and crispy.
I then had a half portion of coratella, but it was a bit heavy, despite how good it was. I wouldn't have it again because it left me feeling heavy until the next morning.
I finished with some homemade biscuits, which were excellent!!
All this was accompanied by a half liter of white wine.
In total, I spent 25 euros!!
I'll definitely be back to try the panoramic terrace, which I've seen wonderful photos of from other users.

A quaint, family-run restaurant. It feels like a family lunch. There were eight of us, and the dishes were plentiful and very good. We preferred the homemade pasta. The service was quick, and the waiter and the owners, one of whom is a very good chef, were friendly. We had a great time.
