06/06/2025: Weer heerlijk genoten van het 'chef menu's van Chef Vincenzo Cucolo in restaurant Aquadulcis in Valle della Lucania, wat een feest. Met behoud van smaak weet hij je telkens weer te verrassen met gerechten bijna te mooi opgemaakt om op te eten. Hoewel het restaurant al enkele jaren een vermelding in de Michelingids heeft is voor ons is iedere gang is een Michelin ster waard. De wijnen zorgvuldig uitgezocht door sommelier Francesco zijn een smaakvolle aanvulling op de gerechten.

01/06/2025: A place of unique beauty. Excellent service. The food is an experience of taste and variety. The chef prepares sublime dishes and offers unique tasting menus. It is always worth it when we are in Cilento.

04/08/2025: .....after three years, I passed by those parts again at lunchtime and like three years ago I stopped to eat at this place, the food is very good and the portions are very generous.....I recommend this restaurant without a doubt.

02/08/2025: Our favourite pizza of our whole trip to Amalfi! The food here is incredible and absolutely lives up to the ratings and reviews. Great prices, we paid €8 and €11 for a huge pizza with generous toppings on the Amalfi Coast is fantastic! Couldn’t recommend this place more.

26/08/2025: My family and I ate at this pizzeria, starting our meal with their excellent homemade potato croquettes, truly delicious! The pizzas had a very light dough, were well-seasoned, and were cooked perfectly! The staff was friendly and always available! I highly recommend it!

14/08/2025: Last night, while passing through Salerno, we decided to stop for a platter and a caponata at this delicatessen with an inviting window display and fresh cured meats. We ordered a bottle of water, a platter, and a caponata. They paid for the bottle of water, but they brought us a glass bottle with their name on it, opened and refilled who knows how many times, or from who knows where. The platter: capicollo salami and prosciutto crudo with hard cheeses that oozed oily sweat, as if it had been prepared hours earlier, sliced earlier and kept warm, or salvaged from who knows where. The caponata wasn't bad... except for the buffalo mozzarella, dry, milk-free, and pre-sliced, no one knows who made it. I'm not inclined to write these negative reviews, but we didn't sleep last night, our stomachs were upset! Guys, be careful, because you don't joke around with people's health. We paid and thanked you, but you will definitely never see us again.

13/08/2025: A pleasant surprise! Antonella (I hope I'm not mistaken) delighted us with a platter of excellent cured meats, including a culatello that you can't even eat in Parma, assorted cheeses with jam and honey, and a buffalo mozzarella that we've never tasted so good! A rich salad, beautifully seasoned! All served with little wait and a smile, despite the constant flow of new customers. The dessert could be improved.

23/07/2025: Conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Sala Consilina motorway exit, you can enjoy a hearty, traditional dish featuring a trio of homemade pasta dishes prepared by Maria, who will warmly welcome you and offer you a taste of the excellent house wine and delicious blackberry cheesecake! Highly recommended!

23/07/2025: I had intended not to be harsh, but after yet another Google Maps invitation to review this establishment, I felt compelled to proceed. Happening to be in the neighborhood, and admittedly also enticed by glowing reviews (which later turned out to be untrue), I sat down and ordered a risotto and meatballs with tomato sauce. The risotto tasted bland and, overall, rather bland. The meatballs were stale, with a mixture that had used too much bread to the detriment of the meat, which was practically nonexistent. But the highlight was the coffee I drank at the end of lunch, deliberately standing at the bar: I was thinking of a classic espresso or, even better, a moka pot, but it was made with the classic pods, which I personally detest. Wanting to avoid refined sugar, I reached for a small bowl placed there (and in plain sight!!!), thinking it was sweetener, but, once I raised the cup to my lips... surprise! 🤮 it was salt! 🫣. At my expression of disgust mixed with disappointment (almost anger), the unwary lady (I assume the owner) could only say, "...you're not the first, it's happened to others too..." 😯. Now, dear Madam, precisely because it had already happened to others, do you think it's "brilliant" to persist in leaving the salt packets on the bar counter where the white sugar, cane sugar, possibly honey, and low-calorie sweeteners are usually placed? In short, my experience was VERY NEGATIVE, and I advise anyone who ventures here by accident, mistake, or intentionally to pass by! That's it.

09/08/2025: We ate very comfortably, authentic Italian food, and the owner has a unique way of turning dinner into a truly unique experience, from the way he presents the dishes, etc.

07/08/2025: This place was recommended to us by a local and food expert (known to his friends as Pepps). We had the opportunity to savor traditional Salerno dishes, cooked with love and explained with equal passion. I loved every moment: from the welcome to the selection of dishes. See you soon!

Lo consigliamo vivamente sia per la bontà dei piatti che per la gentilezza dei proprietari, veramente cordiali e accoglienti. Consiglio vivamente le polpette e gli gnocchi alla Nerano. 09/07/2025: On July 7th, we celebrated our daughter Giulia's eighteenth birthday at Villa Luisa. The location was wonderful! Everything was organized down to the smallest detail, with excellent and plentiful food always served hot, even during the aperitif by the pool. Very attentive staff. Anna took care of every little detail, leaving nothing to chance. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and always ready to accommodate every request. We had a wonderful evening of fun and good food! Villa Luisa was a wonderful discovery!
