09/03/2026: A place that welcomes you warmly and with a smile. The staff is friendly and unpretentious, making you feel right at home. The food is truly well-cooked, from the meatballs in sauce to the pasta dishes. The only downside is the Genovese steak, which is tough and not shredded, with a few pieces of fat. But I repeat, it was cooked to perfection. Low prices. We'll be back as soon as possible and more often. Edit: We've been back and were once again pleased.

27/01/2026: Les Moines isn't your typical pub, it's not a steakhouse, nor is it just a one-off restaurant. Strangely, it manages to do everything well, as if it were a continuous, expertly executed experiment. The kitchen offers delicious, well-executed traditional dishes. Unfortunately, the service doesn't live up to the food, or at least doesn't meet the expectations of those who designed the format. For example? Table space is limited when one or more people order meat, while for a sandwich with friends, it's more than adequate. The wine list is extremely lacking and of questionable quality. The bill is for all budgets.

10/12/2025: I went there thanks to some colleagues who live in the area. A lovely discovery. A butcher shop converted into a restaurant with a well-appointed atmosphere. The entrance is beautiful, with a counter full of meats, cured meats, cheeses, and more. A vast selection. We tried many specialties, all very good, especially the meatballs and goat chop. The cured meats were also truly tasty. The T-bone was excellent. The rib-eye steak wasn't exceptional. Very friendly staff. Prices are high, but commensurate with the quality of the food.

18/12/2025: A colleague recommended me to this place. As soon as I walked in, I noticed a very calm atmosphere. The gentleman at the counter was clearly a professional in the products he was selling. I had musso and tripe made to go. Once they were delivered, I noticed a difference from what I usually buy in my area, and I found a marked difference in flavor. Recommended.

Delicious Taggiasca olives and sun-dried tomatoes are also available, accompanied by fresh vegetables and side dishes that vary based on the finest ingredients available each day. Moving on to the first courses, the selection ranges from traditional dishes like the Genovese to more sophisticated options like the tubettino with local hazelnuts. Each dish is an invitation to discover authentic flavors and the highest-quality ingredients. 28/03/2026: This restaurant is located in the heart of Salerno's historic center. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is attentive and genuine. We ordered the mixed antipasto platter consisting of four small courses, which I found delicious, even if the portions were a bit small. The penne allo scarpariello and the risotto were also very good and plentiful. The grilled calamari was incredibly fresh and tender. The bill was reasonable.

14/03/2026: I visited this grill restaurant on Thursday evening with some colleagues, and I must say it was truly a wonderful discovery. The place is very well-kept, beautiful, and welcoming, with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful, welcoming us and guiding us through our appetizer selection. We started with "Come una parmigiana," a truly delicious and well-made reinterpretation, and fried gnocco stuffed with lemon ricotta, a delicious and surprisingly tasty appetizer. What made the evening even more enjoyable was meeting the owner, Peppe. He stopped by our table, chatted with us, and with great warmth and ease, immediately put us at ease. More than just a restaurateur, it was almost like talking to a friend who was guiding us through his meats. He was very helpful, and he led us to the counter, where all the cuts are displayed, explaining the characteristics of the various meats and recommending what to try. Before we even chose, he let us taste a small piece of raw meat to get a sense of the quality and flavor: intense, clean, and truly remarkable. At that point, we completely trusted his expertise. We ended up ordering three steaks between the four of us, and it was a true tasting experience. We started with a very good and delicate cut, then gradually increased the intensity with the other two cuts. The quality of the meat was truly superb, and each bite had a different story to tell. Ultimately, only positive things to say: excellent meat, attentive service, and a competent and friendly owner who manages to make the experience informal and enjoyable. Fair prices. The selection of cured meats is something I've never tried before, superb! And the meat is truly top-notch! The prices are worth it; they're not that high! I highly recommend it.
