19/11/2024: Magnificent place, welcoming staff, exquisite food, worth visiting.

17/09/2024: To get to the place you need a navigator because it is decidedly isolated. Which is a great advantage! Breathtaking view, well-kept interiors, spotless public bathroom, well-kept and bucolic exteriors. The food is at times spectacular. I took a Chianina menu (in the photo) for €30, an exceptional value for money. The raw material is almost entirely of their own production, as they are an agricultural and breeding company. The staff very attentive and kind. Carmine, one of the owners, absolutely exquisite. One episode above all: I took a Chianina steak off the menu and asked for it to be rare/medium cooked but due to an error in the kitchen it arrived well cooked. I pointed it out and had to insist not to make it again, eating it anyway. Well, at the end of the meal Carmine then insisted on making me accept a 700 gram raw steak to then cook for myself at home. It was excellent. Behavior like a true gentleman, nothing to say. Five stars deserved.

08/12/2024: I've been there more than once and I must say that I've always enjoyed it, especially when it comes to the starters. The choice of cheeses, all produced locally, and cured meats, often of artisanal origin, are excellent. Kind service and honest price.

01/12/2024: Typical Cilento cuisine. Abundant and quality starters. Get ready for manner and with typical recipes. First courses are Terra's classic. The meat proposal for the second course is an excellent experience, as it is very tender. To conclude, dessert: try the home-made ice creams.

21/10/2024: Viste le ottime recensioni abbiamo provato questo ristorante ma non siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti: il punteggio è la media tra piatti ottimi e altri appena sufficienti. L'antipasto di salumi: buoni prodotti ma nel sapore mancava quel che rende del salame o del capocollo eccezionale, quindi appena sufficiente, nulla di eccezionale. Primi ottimi, veramente buoni, ben fatti, mangiati con gusto e piacere. Secondo bistecca con cottura media, senza infamia e senza lode, dura al taglio e alla masticazione e poco gustosa.

28/10/2024: All the sandwiches and kebabs are delicious. Overpacked burgers and top meat, delicious croquettes. We returned two nights in a row. They are fast and the owner is friendly and helpful.

19/09/2024: For a quick sandwich or piadina you can't ask for anything better. Service a little slow, but very kind and helpful. By mistake they gave us a portion of chips that we hadn't ordered or paid for; as soon as I brought it back to the counter I was told it was on house. Advised.

10/10/2024: I honestly expected something more, as usual in Cilento clubs. appetizer of cold cuts, sausage with a bad taste, appetizers... I'm thinking of aubergines in oil, also in my opinion not that great, I thought something else would come out next to the appetizer but instead nothing... a first course mushrooms and sausage, dry ..it was enough to add a little water and a nice cream was created, to finish grilled meat, overcooked bacon, the remaining discreet... quality-price... leaves something to be desired.

09/12/2024: A cena con amici di Salerno sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto delle varie tipologie di pizze. La classica napoletana sbagliata e quella alla pala sono buonissime quasi uniche, mentre quella al padellino non mi ha colpito particolarmente ma comunque buona. Alta la qualità degli ingredienti e ottima la combinazione dei vari ingredienti sulle pizze. Consigliatissimo.

02/12/2024: Pizze davvero ottime , leggerissime ( nonostante la mia fosse fritta e poi infornata) e gli antipasti davvero buonissimi. Consigliata la Smontanara e la frittata di pasta . Ottima stagionalità dei prodotti e un menu varia ma non eccessivamente grande. Da provare le pizze in padellino .

18/11/2024: Nulla di emozionante e di particolare NEL CONTO C'ERA SCRITTO "CARNE 1KG" € 70 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🫵🫵🫵🫵🫵 Ma di fatto era talmente evidente a chiunque che la carne in realtà arrivata a tavola non è nemmeno 600 grammi Mi sono sentito preso veramente in giro Sulla carta dei whisky per quello che ho scelto era riportato il costo di €8 , ma di fatto nello scontrino ne ho ritrovato scritto 10 € Insomma per 1 piatto di pasta genovese 1 assaggio sushi (interpretato malissimo) 1 vino gragnano 5/600 grammi di carne venduta per 1kg 1 tortino di patate 1 crema catalana 1 wuiski 1 fetta di panettone Conto 150 euro Veramente DELUSO, particolarmente per l'onestà

05/10/2024: Ottima cantina dei vini. Buoni gli antipasti e la scelta delle carni. Non abbiamo apprezzato la frettolosità nel prendere le comande da parte del gestore poco incline a spiegare la differenza delle carni a chi come noi aveva incertezza nello scegliere. Sarà stata la grande affluenza del w.end

06/11/2024: We ate Saturday of the Dead for lunch. There is no à la carte menu, but dishes of the day which are cooked by the owner, Mrs Maria, who also serves at the tables. The portions are generous, force yourself to finish them otherwise you risk making it feel bad!. Personally, I ate a half-kilo rare steak with some excellent local red wine and some zeppoline for dessert. The food is very fresh, guaranteed by the fact that everything is prepared every day. Very honest prices. You can easily find a parking space in an open space adjacent to the entrance.

05/11/2024: Location located on the road passing through a busy arterial road, free parking within the property. I recommend both the fusilli and the ravioli (handmade enteambi) with ragù and for the second course there is a wide choice of homemade things (grandma's meatballs, pork steak or village sausage, veal steak with or without bone) and excellent seasonal vegetable side dishes. Homemade and exquisite cuisine. The owner is always available to try to satisfy customer requests. Excellent price/quality ratio.

15/11/2024: I really feel like writing this review, on Saturday 9 November 2024 my husband and I were invited to a dinner, to be honest we had never crossed the threshold of the restaurant despite having heard nothing positive about it.....we enjoyed excellent homemade appetizers accompanied by a good wine 🍷 local, exceptional first courses, tasty and succulent second courses not to mention the ricotta cannoli so good.... I would say exceptional... Mrs Isabella very gallant and professional ....the girl who served at the table was kind, composed and present to our every need....I highly recommend going there to enjoy good genuine food....not at all weighed down after eating so much....we will be back 🍽️🍽️🍽️

13/08/2024: If you want mixed sea food (fritto misto) get this one instead of those offered by nearby restaurants. You have to eat it by the beach but the taste is amazing.

13/08/2024: The location is very central in Positano and the hotel has a parking garage with good guarded service. From the hotel you can easily reach the beach, shopping and many restaurants. When we checked in, the Guest Relations Manager gave us a very friendly welcome. While we were able to enjoy our welcome drink, check-in at reception was carried out very quickly. We were shown around the hotel by a very nice lady and everything important was explained to us. The room was very spacious and had a small garden. The air conditioning was a dream. The facilities left nothing to be desired and we really enjoyed our stay. The service at the bar was friendly and very accommodating. At breakfast we had a wide selection of sweets, sausage, cheese and egg dishes.

29/07/2024: Al Palazzo is set in a beautiful courtyard with greenery and flowers setting the perfect atmosphere for a lovely dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. All dishes were enjoyed. The smoked flavor of the tuna carpaccio was unlike any we have had. It was just what we hoped for to begin our meal. The eggplant main dish was tender and perfect for a lighter lunch option. My oldest son enjoyed the claims and pasta. My youngest raved about his burger. The lemon sorbet was a refreshing treat at the end of a delcious meal. One order of sorbet could easily be shared as it is three nice size scoops. Al Palazzo receives praise in all areas as the atmosphere, service, and food were all top notch.

10/11/2024: Cozy, beautiful and elegant place! Impeccable service! Giuseppe the owner, also manages the B&B Hotel Belvedere (where we stayed) is a kind and helpful person! We ate excellent fish, and spent incredibly little, considering the quality of the raw materials! I absolutely recommend!!!!!

02/12/2024: This national park is surrounded by medieval villages, beautiful coastal scenery and lots of nature. It is an area of ​​the Cilento Coast that you should definitely visit. The typical culinary specialties such as stuffed eggplant, baked sardines or pickled tuna are also highly recommended. The only negative point is that unfortunately no one here treats the environment with respect and that in 2024 you can still see some garbage bags left on the side of the road, which is very sad but unfortunately true! Nevertheless, a landscape and a very special part of this country that I can recommend to everyone…
