11/07/2026: We went to this restaurant that was recommended to us and we've been back several times. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the food was excellent. We ate both fish (superlative scialatelli allo scoglio) and meat (delicious Angus). The desserts were excellent. I highly recommend it.

24/06/2026: AFTER FOUR YEARS I'M BACK AND I NEED TO AMEND MY PREVIOUS, POSITIVE REVIEW. The quality of the food remains, local products of Cilento cuisine: so I won't waste time singing its praises. BUT FOR TWO PEOPLE, WITHOUT HAVING EATEN A FIRST COURSE...but appetizers served for two people, and two second courses (a sausage that should be equivalent to a main course and a chicken with potatoes), a slice of dessert and three small glasses of amaro, a bottle of wine with the trattoria's label, and a bottle of water. €85...you read that right... EIGHTY-FIVE EUROS...that's crazy. For those who know the place...and know the products well...try to imagine the costs, revenue, and profits on €85... And imagine a table of ten people!! Personally, I'm going to spend the next 85 euros in a fish restaurant (and if I get to 100 euros it doesn't matter)

22/06/2026: Rianata stands for origanata, meaning pizza with tomato and oregano. The specialty, however, is the dough: passion, dough, natural yeast, and cooking method make it a one-of-a-kind product worth the trip. Vasulata refers to the street and the fact that it was once paved with flagstones, which were later replaced by asphalt. The restaurant's philosophy is to respect tradition, both in the quality of the products and the cooking method. Everything revolves around the oven, which stays in operation for a long time. I haven't tried the meat, but that seems to be very good, too. Reservations are not allowed. Those who arrive late get a bad night's sleep, either because there's no room, or because some dishes are sold out.

19/04/2026: Everything was perfect! The rooms were very well-kept and spotlessly clean. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful, with special attention paid to intolerances and allergies. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. A fantastic experience!

18/04/2026: Congratulations, stunning location, wonderful rooms, but the best part was the dinner. The waiter Ciro was super helpful and polite, as was the owner Gigi. They were very inclusive towards me and my group (there were 22 of us). The food was delicious. Vegan and lacto-free options were also included. Thank you so much, we'll be back 🙏🏽

21/06/2026: The kitchen is run by a local lady, so the menu is pure traditional, without pretense or updates. After all, the entire place is organized to honor its name. If you want to eat fish, go elsewhere.

31/07/2026: If you happen to come to Marina di Camerota, you can't miss dining here. First of all, there are plenty of places where you don't have to worry about booking and scheduling a time. Located within the Esca village, it has plenty of outdoor tables and a well-ventilated area. The cuisine is excellent, with first and second courses of both seafood and meat. They also serve long pasta in small "sperlonghe" (small plates) with portions that are half the size elsewhere. Very fast service, despite the restaurant's capacity. I've been coming to Marina di Camerota for ten years, and three since I've dined here. I've been to almost every restaurant and I think this is the best. In every way. I dine here every night. The first and second courses of seafood are unforgettable, accompanied by a nice, chilled glass of wine. Trying is believing.

30/06/2026: My experience was decidedly negative, and I wouldn't recommend this property. The room is described as "small," but in reality, it's an extremely cramped and suffocating attic space. This detail isn't even mentioned in the description, and more importantly, there are no photographs to help us understand the room's true layout. The published images are therefore, in my opinion, misleading. Privacy is virtually nonexistent: the room's only window looks directly onto a shared terrace accessible to all hotel guests, meaning you have to keep the curtains and window closed to feel even the slightest bit private. The only way to make the room breathable was to keep the air conditioning on, but it's installed right above the bed and blows cold air directly onto the people sleeping. After three nights, we found ourselves with a severe stiff neck. The room also lacks even the most basic amenities: there are no chairs, tables, or even a place to put your suitcases and personal belongings. The bathroom also lacks any shelves or towel racks. We were forced to take two plastic chairs from the shared terrace to have a place to put our belongings, even our shower products. I documented everything with photographs. Despite immediately expressing my dissatisfaction with the accommodations, we were not offered any solution or even a room change. Parking is also very problematic: it's located on a steep and bumpy road, so much so that driving up it with a normal car is truly difficult. Furthermore, to reach the property, you have to travel several kilometers of narrow hairpin bends on a dark and difficult road. We stayed three nights and the experience was very disappointing. I believe that the presentation of the room on the website does not reflect reality and that the photographs are misleading. For this reason, I absolutely cannot recommend this property.

21/09/2025: A beautiful village, the entertainment is fantastic and the guys are very knowledgeable and kind. The service is efficient and fast.

13/06/2026: Refreshing lunch after the boat trip. Simple dishes prepared with care and love. A very quaint and simple place that encourages you to slow down.

22/11/2025: The place is great. The staff is fun. The owner is fair. The food is delicious. The panuzzu is absolutely delicious. The anpatata di cozze is absolutely delicious. The homemade limoncello is amazing. We've been there two years in a row now and keep coming back.
