03/06/2026: We were delighted to return to this historic restaurant after a morning spent in nearby Gioi Cilento. We already knew "Le Cocole" thanks to my girlfriend's family, who have been frequenting it for a long time (being local), and once again it proved to be an absolute must. If you're looking for authentic Cilento cuisine, made with love and without reserve, this is the place. As someone who eats a lot tells you: the portions here are incredibly generous! We started with a "tasting" of all the house appetizers... well, calling them tastings is an understatement, since they alone would be enough to fill you up, all delicious. Next, I had the fusilli with veal ragù: simply out of this world (and immense!). I could have stopped there, but instead we decided to continue—with difficulty but with great enjoyment—with an excellent mixed meat dish. To finish on a high note, a complimentary amaro on the house is always a pleasure. The real selling point of this place, besides the excellent food, is the staff: friendly, kind, and attentive, they literally make you feel right at home. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!

14/10/2025: We are from South Korea and have travel to Amalfi, visit this restaurant for our dinner. Everyone was so kind and made us happy from the entrance. Chef's food was just ‘fantastic’!!!!!! I love this place and chef, also every workers! Perfect restaurant for me ever❤️

08/10/2025: Perfect dining experience! Everything from the owner, the waitress, the food and the atmosphere, this was one of the most memorable meals we had in 16 days in Italy! We did it right down the menu with Scallops as the appetizer, then shared the 1st course and the each ordered our own 2nd courses. Each stage of the food was perfection and you could get a sense that this is going to be a special meal right from the start with the appetizer. I'm not a wine drinker so the owner suggested a type of lemon soda they have and it was served with a slice of orange 🍊... I loved it and ordered another... it's like he knew me better than I know myself. The sauces on each protein were smoothly blended with all the flavors working together in harmony! Beautiful view of the Amalfi Coast doesn't hurt either! On the way out I told him I would write a review so here it is a day later I highly recommend taking the time to dine here as you won't regret it. My wife and I both agreed this was the meal of the entire trip!

28/04/2026: If you are traveling in Salerno, I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy some seafood. For reference, I saw quite a few locals eating pizza. I enjoyed the meal so much that I forgot to take photos, so unfortunately, I cannot include them (I don't remember the names of the dishes ^^). The atmosphere is that of a simple local restaurant; language barriers were resolved with kindness (a helper appeared nearby), menu choices were made with recommendations, the taste was very pleasant, and the prices were very reasonable. Although it was house wine, I liked that it was aromatic and (somewhat) full-bodied. I hope those of you wondering where to eat have a delightful meal.

28/04/2026: The most delicious hazelnut ice cream ever! Such a cute hidden gem. We were so lucky to discover it while wandering through Ravello, away from the crowds. €4 for a small, €5 for a medium, and €6 for a large.

10/05/2026: An experience not to be repeated... I'd already been to this place a while ago and didn't have a good memory, and I hoped I could change my mind, but that wasn't the case. As soon as we arrived, they informed us that due to the previous evening's service, they had run out of the beef fillet used for a particular dish and therefore it wasn't available. We proceeded to choose and look for an alternative (being keto-friendly), I ordered a "beef tartare" (that's what the menu said) and asked, given the initial recommendation, which of the other five types of fillet on the menu (and in the display) was available... I was told (despite the fact that they were available) that none of the fillets were available because they had all been booked by a single table the day before. A little disappointed, I opted for a tagliata, and when asked what type of cooking I replied "RARE." We were served fairly quickly, and here was the first surprise: the tartare was served on a cracker with a mountain of stracciatella and fried artichokes (obviously, none of this was listed on the menu). To avoid further fuss after the fillet discussion, I tried to separate the tartare from the rest and moved on... after about 40 minutes, the second course was served (during this time, the other diners pointed out to me that having a glass of wine makes no sense in this place, since it's basically just three drops in the glass). Shortly before the second course arrived, I asked for a Fanta for one of the diners and was first told it was only available at room temperature (which wouldn't have been a problem), then told that these were all booked for the table above... obviously, I started to get a little nervous because I almost felt like I was being mocked. When the second course arrived, however, the best surprise of all... the meat I requested was rare and arrived cooked to a level I wouldn't even call medium... and given the price it costs (around €130/kg), I don't expect certain mistakes, especially in a grill restaurant... with a bit of disappointment, at the end of the meal I ask for the bill (in line with the prices on the menu) and as I'm about to pay (it's now past 3pm and the restaurant is emptying out) I notice some of the fillets I had requested still available in the display case... so there are first-class customers and second-class customers... as is obvious, I pay without the slightest problem and leave... I hope this review can be useful to you, for sure I will hardly return because despite the quality products offered, the overall experience was really terrible in my opinion.

08/05/2026: Unfortunately, this is only my second time there for dinner...a sublime restaurant...there's a homey feel, yet it's an elite restaurant. Everything was perfect, starting with the welcome in the dining room...excellent recommendations on wine and menu options. The dishes, in my opinion, are indefinable, as good as they are. The ingredients are excellent, but the preparation is superior. Congratulations, guys.

02/04/2026: A fish restaurant in Cetara with truly excellent cuisine. We were looking forward to a little gem with very good value for money, and the menu initially promised just that. What we weren't prepared for was the size of the dishes. The "Catch of the Day" is delicious, but it's more of an appetizer. Since you really need to order at least two courses to feel full, the prices aren't exactly cheap. Had we been informed about this "tapas-like" size, we wouldn't have had a problem with it. As it was, we were a bit disappointed. The Spaghetti Colatura di Alici, typical of the region—spaghetti with anchovy sauce—is delicious. Tip: In Italy, you dip the sauces with the fresh bread that's also served. The service was somewhat unclear. We were immediately offered wines without a wine list. We only received the list upon request. Prices for a bottle start at around 35 euros.

11/05/2026: It was a pleasant surprise to find a Brazilian restaurant in Maiori. The atmosphere is cozy, with beautiful decor, wonderful service, and the food… the food has that homemade taste and was an extra treat on our trip. The picadinho de carne (minced meat), the chicken tapioca, and the soft coconut candy are divine. We chatted with the owner, who was very attentive and gave us great travel tips.

Giovanni and Roberto provided amazing service and the whole experience was a highlight of our Amalfi coast trip. The risotto we had was incredible and perfectly balanced. I also appreciated Giovanni’s wine recommendations. Overall we felt there was such attention to details and beyond incredible service throughout the whole experience!
