A quaint place where Pino warmly welcomes you, explaining each product with his knowledge. It goes without saying that you'll find only excellent dishes that evoke ancient flavors. The platters are generous and carefully prepared, and every pairing is carefully chosen. I'll definitely be back.

I can highly recommend this place, I had the best caprese in my whole life. Tiramisu was also really good. The owners is very friendly and welcoming, prices are totally fair.

As we rounded the corner from Salerno Cathedral, ravenous (for us northerners, 2:30 PM is the end of the world for lunch), we stumbled upon this shop—and I'll specify "shop," because calling it a restaurant belittles it and would create misunderstandings. You come here to savor traditional dishes, and they offer unconventional service. You walk in and choose the dishes you want from a menu hanging at the counter. As usual, I didn't understand a thing, but the host understood my difficulty and helped me choose. We ordered pasta with potatoes, a rice, pea, and scamorza flan, escarole with olives, and, last but not least, a wonderful stuffed spleen. I'll just say a few words about the spleen. The spleen is prepared like a pocket, stuffed with a variety of herbs and seasonings. It's then browned and braised with other seasonings for 3-4 hours. It's delicious, and just the right amount of spicy. We had a glass of Falangina and some water. They also brought us some olive oil to eat with the bread, which was also excellent. We finished with a chocolate dessert with a fried eggplant base soaked in Concerto liqueur. All in all, an unusual and enjoyable experience. Thanks to Mr. Pino, who explained so much about the dishes. Remember, it's best to book.

This place is legendary! It invented the concept of good food served as Tagliere di salumi carni and formaggi more than 15 years ago, long before everybody else copied the concept in Salerno. To this day, it is still the best place where to sample homemade products made fresh every day by the owner, served with incredibly intense olive oil, homemade breads of all types, and a selection of excellent wines. We had the frittata with lemon scent, the green friggitelli peppers and tomatoes, the aubergines with capers and olives, the potatoes with oregano, the gatto’ di patate, all excellent. This was accompanied by the fantastic local wine, a white full bodied nectar of deliciousness. We ended this perfect meal with a brioche filled with fiordilatte ice cream topped with olive oil, a genius combo. At the end we were kindly offered a digestive liqueur, a touch of class that ended an already perfect meal and elevated to a new, phantasmagorical level! Thank you ! It has been an amazing experience !

Amazing! Words can't express how delicious everything was. Super fresh, flavors that thrilled me. It's been a long time since I've eaten at a place with such great food and service. I hope they maintain this excellent standard for many years to come. I would travel to Sorrento again just to eat here ❤️

Very nice, we came at 13:00 for a sit down style lunch. Even though we do not speak italian, we just trust the owner. He advised us on what was available in the display before we sat down. He was right on everything. All meat and cheese is local, and he is right to be proud of the products. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a authentic local experience. The owner is very nice. After the main course we ordered 3 local desserts eventhough we were with 2 people. Highly recommend the brioche filled with ice cream and olive oil. Also had a mineral white wine, where he could show the minerals in the bottle.
