07/04/2024: Enchanting experience for a restaurant of the highest level

23/03/2024: Where do I start? Stefano (one of the four brothers who look after this restaurant as the fourth generation of this family restaurant) picked us up as part of the shuttle service that they offer to customers (to and from Amalfi) as the restaurant is located just a bit further away from central Amalfi. He gave us an introduction and background into the family run business and use of their farm produce. We were then welcomed by Antonio (another brother) who served us throughout the evening and gave us a tour of the restaurant and showed us the terrace. We ordered the Ciccio Tasting Menu and it was absolutely amazing. They are generous with portions and they also give bread on the side (complimentary). Antonio explains every dish clearly and is the most passionate person I've met when it comes to food. Ask him any question about the ingredients and the way its been prepped and he will tell you all the work that goes into it. It was their first day of opening so wasn't too busy but it was a very nice place to have a lovely meal to celebrate an anniversary. They then dropped us off back at our hotel in Amalfi and it was an absolute amazing dinner and evening. Compliments to the chefs and team who made the whole journey from start to finish such high quality. All the best for the new season!

12/03/2024: Best pizza I’ve had in my life.. perfect base with nice crunchy.. tomato base was tasty and the right amount of cheese. And for 8€ you can go wrong.

12/03/2024: Neapolitan pizza (compared to the margherita with anchovies added), the anchovies on the rich tomato frame were so salty that it grabbed my tongue again. This is one of the must-have fast food restaurants when passing by.

02/04/2024: The lasagna. Omg. I have no words. This was probably the best thing I have ever eaten. My husband and I loved our meals here. He had the pistachio mortadella pizza which was also fantastic. We tried the fried potato appetizers and ended up ordering another round of them they were so good. Also.. the limoncello spritz’s. Delicious.. and dangerous.

29/03/2024: There are few options for the lunch menu. Not good for vegetarians. The pasta was raw. All three of them. And I’ve had “al dente” before, this was raw. I came here for the “best pizzeria in Amalfi” based on reviews, no pizza for lunch. They said the dinner menu is very different from the lunch menu. I suggest don’t even bother to open for lunch maybe? I reserved for 14.30 as their system allowed me to do so, when I arrived 10min delayed (if you are not a local, get ready to be surprised with the difficulty of the location) they said the chef is gone. Then why do you even let people to make a reservation? Close at 14:00. Don’t make a fuss about it.

06/04/2024: We were pleasantly surprised by this little corner of Amalfi: private and welcoming terrace under a pergola of beautiful lemon trees. Dough 7+, tomato 9!

05/04/2024: An absolutely amazing restaurant in Amalfi, superb quality, wonderful service and off the beaten track. Excellent quality for the same price as being charged by the run of the mill places in the centro. Don’t miss it!

03/04/2024: Ivo recommended we come here for lunch while visiting Amalfi and he was absolutely correct! Ariana and our waiter (I'm so sorry, I wish I caught his name) took great care of us and were so friendly and attentive. It is tucked away on side roads away from the noisy bustling crowds of tourists, making for a perfectly quiet meal. For an appetizer, my wife and I shared the special of the day, which was a fresh bowl of mussels with a delicious broth of cherry tomatoes and capers. For my main course I had their hand made ravioli stuffed with ricotta and basil served in a tomato basil sauce. The ravioli was perfect and the sauce was so good I finished every last drop with the table bread. My wife had the grilled cod for her main. The cod was flaky and juicy and she was obsessed with the peppers served with it! If you come to Amalfi, you'd miss out if you didn't come here for lunch or dinner

06/04/2024: We stayed at the hotel in April and were very well received. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with a wonderful view. Nothing fancy, but everything done with great care.

03/10/2023: Great experience. Incredible view of nature. Delicious products from the father's garden, expertly cooked by the mother and served very pleasantly by the daughter. Very romantic and good value for money.

30/09/2023: Definition of “amazing”. The location and setting of this place is stunning to say the least. Excellent and the friendly service. Attention to detail to breakfast/dinner/ and the rooms is top of the line. The farm’s wine and limoncello were our favorite (aside from the views). There is a beautiful hiking trail from the property and directions to the Path of the Gods and parking recommendations. Recommend at least a 3 night stay but you could definitely do so much longer. We cannot thank our hosts enough for an unbelievable time and hope to be able to return!!! Grazie mille!

05/04/2024: Yummy food and friendly staff - the prices comparatively to the rest of Amalfi were pretty reasonable. The homemade ravioli was delish but the portion was very small. The ‘Cartari’ special was delish and a better size. Great price on house wine too.

26/03/2024: The food was very delicious, we ordered Sciatelli Cartari, the macaroni and the Gnochhi, from worst to best in that order. The bread is very simple and comes included with the price of the cutlery, which is €2. The service could be improved, they are not very friendly but it took them very little time to bring the food and the dishes are medium/large. It makes up for the price, which is €3/4 less than the rest of the places we ate. 7.5/10 is my rating.

02/04/2024: Food was okay, service was not good. One of the tall guy was extremely rude. He had no patience at all and ruined our time here. Can definitely find better options elsewhere

26/09/2023: Na onze wandeling naar Valle Delle Ferriere hebben we hier heerlijk geluncht. Het restaurant heeft heerlijke gerechten op hun menu staan die met verse ingrediënten worden gemaakt. Daarnaast is de sfeer en de bediening ook top. Wat een lieve mensen werken daar met passie voor hun restaurant. Een dikke vette aanrader!

23/09/2023: Lunch-only farm-type family-run restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff and great food, much of which comes from the farm. Located on one of the routes to Valle delle Ferriere, so it's a walk up from Piazza Duomo but very doable (I'm 70 and my wife slightly younger and we enjoyed the walk up though we ARE regular walkers/hikers). We dined in one of, I believe, two outdoor dining areas. Atmosphere was quiet, comfortable and cozy. Diners in our dining area interacted among each other intermittently but in an unintrusive way, respecting each other's privacy yet open to sharing the feeling of experiencing something different. At one point, on my way back to my table from the restroom in the "main" indoor room, I made accidental eye contact with the "matron" (I hope that's not an insulting term to use) of the establishment who was sitting at a table prepping some fresh vegetables. We exchanged smiles. Upon leaving the restaurant after settling our bill in that same indoor room, as I was just about to pass through the door to the outside, the same woman said "Ciao" to me. When I turned to reply in kind she was again smiling. How nice of her! You get the idea. Make a reservation if you can. We enjoyed our time here.

06/04/2024: .AWAY FROM THE CROWDS! Absolutely lovely restaurant in a quiet setting away from the center crowds, heat and noise. We were eager for light lunch and they had just what we wanted…a delicious seafood salad…and a limoncello spritz! We hope to get back for dinner.

05/04/2024: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Amalfi, the food is very good. Super recommended. If you are looking for accommodation, we can recommend Beautiful Guest House, from the same owner as the La Perla restaurant, located above the restaurant (the room with the terrace is gorgeous).
