Les Moines isn't your typical pub, it's not a steakhouse, nor is it just a one-off restaurant. Strangely, it manages to do everything well, as if it were a continuous, expertly executed experiment. The kitchen offers delicious, well-executed traditional dishes. Unfortunately, the service doesn't live up to the food, or at least doesn't meet the expectations of those who designed the format. For example? Table space is limited when one or more people order meat, while for a sandwich with friends, it's more than adequate. The wine list is extremely lacking and of questionable quality. The bill is for all budgets.

I went there thanks to some colleagues who live in the area. A lovely discovery. A butcher shop converted into a restaurant with a well-appointed atmosphere. The entrance is beautiful, with a counter full of meats, cured meats, cheeses, and more. A vast selection. We tried many specialties, all very good, especially the meatballs and goat chop. The cured meats were also truly tasty. The T-bone was excellent. The rib-eye steak wasn't exceptional. Very friendly staff. Prices are high, but commensurate with the quality of the food.

A lovely bistro, with a wide selection of dishes to choose from, all paired with excellent wines and beers. I chose the very tasty summer sandwich—the meat was excellent—and the tasty chicken wings; the fries with cheddar and mayonnaise were exquisite. The young staff goes out of their way to please their customers, although you may have to wait a bit between orders. Book before you go.

15/07/2026: Few things can rival a dinner overlooking the sunset on the Amalfi Coast and the Church of San Gennaro. The setting is simply breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the fish antipasti, the anchovy salad, and a delicious lasagna. To top it all off, a spectacular tiramisu. Excellent value for money and a highly recommended experience.
13/07/2026: Can’t fault this place: lovely location and terrific service - the perfect way to end a long day’s hiking of the Path of the Gods. Best meal of our trip!

08/06/2026: Absolutely worth a try! Welcoming place, extremely kind and helpful staff, and attention to every detail. We ordered two cuts of meat, but we'll definitely be back to try the many other specialties on the menu. The meat was truly high-quality, the prices fair, and our appetites were satisfied!
